How do these guys stay in business? Went to buy a king size comforter for our bed at their store in…read moreLogan after my wife searched for one online and saw that they had one in the store. I contacted an employee after I couldn't find it on the shelf, they went to the back and got it and brought it out to me. I then asked her if I could still get the discount even though we did not place the order online because it was quicker to come in and get it. She said yes and to make sure the person at the register gave me the discount and to tell them that the lady in the back said to give it to us at the discount. The comforter was marked at $180 and with the discount would only be $72. So I went to check out and the lady rang it up and I proceeded to tell her the story of how we saw it online but didn't place the order because it would have been quicker to come in and just get it and that the lady in the back said it was ok to still get the discount. The lady listened and then said that she could not give me a discount, but that I could get the discount by applying for kohl's cash (which I learned is a credit card) I told her my wife didn't have to do that to get the discount. She then told me that their internet pricing is always different and that I needed to use a "kohl's kiosk" in order to get the same discount. So I walk from the front of the store back to the center of the store to find this ancient machine (honestly the tin man on wizard of OZ looked more updated than this thing) anyways I still had a tiny bit desire to try and make my wife happy and buy the comforter. I had to consistently smash the touch screen to get any response all while trying to enter my email to get an additional 15% off my purchase. After I signed up for the emails the kiosk from the Jurassic age told me that it would send me an email confirmation. After waiting for 5 minutes I never received one and ended up ditching my efforts to buy the comforter. Honestly I never shop here and will never shop here again as they were so unwilling to help me get the same discounts that my wife was able to get online. Good luck staying in business with that type of experience...

Did some research and was torn because, as mentioned, the reviews seem to be that people had a great experience with Al's or a really bad one. YMMV, but all I can say is mine was great. Had a question about shipping and their customer support got back to me the next business day. Decided to roll the dice and honestly, glad I did. Item shipped to Hawaii really fast (4 days). (Because of the reviews) Checked the shoes, checked my credit card-- everything was good!

Drop me in the middle of it, I will guess about a dozen different stores. While less of a problem at Hibbett, it also lacks a strong identity of its own -- and separate from other sports stores. Hibbett does a good job in supporting the home team, with a nice selection of Utah State Aggies stuff. I you want a selection of colors in your mitt or soccer ball, go to Hibbett. They have plenty of Nikes (especially Air Jordans), Converse, Under Armour, and the rest. The prices are just average, nothing that would influence a purchase over just getting it on Amazon. Hibbett has been around since 1945, has about 1,000 locations, and targets markets like Logan ... mid-range towns, a little rural ... they depend on the person who wants to look, try on, and touch the athletic gear they buy. It still leaves me asking: Who are you Hibbetts? What makes you unique? What do you provide that I can't get somewhere else?
