It's not a huge store, but dang they have a lot packed into it! The employees were super-fun, as well as helpful. I was asking questions comparing the large air horn to the small one, and so the young male Associate told me to come outside with him, and we'd try them out! And so we did! I have to say, we all giggled a bunch in the process. But hey, i appreciate that they want to SHOW me so that I can make the right choice! It did, in fact, help me make a decision. They had a good selection, and they also had a bunch of stuff outside on clearance. Looked like some good stuff! We picked-up a few other things as well. Enjoyed the store. A little bit of everything, but not a lot of one thing, and not a wide variety in quality either of that one thing. Service has been good in my few stops by. If you wait for sales, or fill out their marketing cards, you can usually get an additional 10 to 15% off your purchase, and save some extra money.

We searched businesses in Logan that sold Thule racks and found The Sportsman. Arriving at the store, I explained our situation to a friendly gentleman (turned out to be Mark) who explained the modern Thule products very thoroughly. I was pretty candid explaining that I'd brought no tools (from Phoenix, our home) but Mark didn't hesitate a moment to commit to assemble and install. Finishing the installation, Mark took a bike from his store and demonstrated all of the loading and locking features of this new Thule rack. Wow, what a great improvement from our earlier model! So, if you're ever in Logan and need good clothing, equipment and, particularly, bicycles and accessories, visit The Sportsman. This business is the epitome of what great retailers with high value products and service aspire to achieve.

These guys are the best!…read more I've been going to the Sportsman for years, I've bought a number of bicycles from them, but best of all is their bicycle maintenance shop. They've always done a fantastic job, treated me well and at bargain prices! When a store does a great job, often times it's difficult to show appreciation for a job well done, so it is my pleasure to give Sportsman five stars. I recently took my bicycle to them with some problems I was experiencing with some grinding in the peddle bearings, I told them I was afraid I needed a new set of bearings, that I had wore mine out. They could have easily sold me an expensive set of new bearings, but they didn't, they were honest in their work, explained to me that the bearings were just dirty and needed a good cleaning, which they did for me at a great price. I was prepared to pay a high price, but instead was taken care of honestly and with great integrity, I appreciated that so much that I wanted to share my experience with you. My bike works like new again; thanks guys, you're awesome! Five stars from me!

I contacted an employee after I couldn't find it on the shelf, they went to the back and got it and brought it out to me. I then asked her if I could still get the discount even though we did not place the order online because it was quicker to come in and get it. She said yes and to make sure the person at the register gave me the discount and to tell them that the lady in the back said to give it to us at the discount. The comforter was marked at $180 and with the discount would only be $72. So I went to check out and the lady rang it up and I proceeded to tell her the story of how we saw it online but didn't place the order because it would have been quicker to come in and just get it and that the lady in the back said it was ok to still get the discount. The lady listened and then said that she could not give me a discount, but that I could get the discount by applying for kohl's cash (which I learned is a credit card) I told her my wife didn't have to do that to get the discount. She then told me that their internet pricing is always different and that I needed to use a "kohl's kiosk" in order to get the same discount. So I walk from the front of the store back to the center of the store to find this ancient machine (honestly the tin man on wizard of OZ looked more updated than this thing) anyways I still had a tiny bit desire to try and make my wife happy and buy the comforter. I had to consistently smash the touch screen to get any response all while trying to enter my email to get an additional 15% off my purchase. After I signed up for the emails the kiosk from the Jurassic age told me that it would send me an email confirmation. After waiting for 5 minutes I never received one and ended up ditching my efforts to buy the comforter. Honestly I never shop here and will never shop here again as they were so unwilling to help me get the same discounts that my wife was able to get online.
