Their selection is just about unbeatable, apart from the very largest cabelas or bass pro. Even then, fort thompson is quite competitive. The prices are very reasonable. I've seen better.... but not much better. The only places I know with slightly better prices have poorer service and a much smaller selection. They have suppressors. Lots of suppressors, and knowledgeable employees who can help you choose one. The employees are knowledgeable and friendly. It's a great store!

My daughter-in-law and I found this little gem with the help of yelp and I HAD to come on here and write about it. Both of us normally dread the formal dress shopping experience. This is, by far, the best formal dress shopping experience I've ever had. Ms Nanci was so helpful. In helping us, she was not pushy, she had great suggestions and lots of experience with what works. She was very patient and didn't get upset that I wanted to try many different styles to both see about something new and to rule out what might not work. She brought dresses to the dressing room and helped with zippers etc which sped up the process a lot. We were in and out in an hour and that has never happened before. We both bought affordable dresses that we love. If I ever need another formal dress again, this will be my first stop. There are a few more interesting tidbits about this store; they work directly with a seamstress who will do alterations for you and, if you want a different color dress (on most styles) you can order them, but there's is about an 8 week turnaround to get them. I needed a new string and cables installed on my Barnett crossbow and they took good care of me. They did a great job and in a decent amount of time. They got me set up just in time for my hunt next week in Southern Ohio. All the guys there were professional and very helpful and grateful for my business. They even gave me some helpful maintenance tips that I never knew regarding the care of my Crossbow. Though I was only there for maintenance, if you're looking for a new Compound, Recurve, or Crossbow, they have a ridiculous selection of all 3 types. They've also got the biggest selection of accessories, heads, bolts, arrows, etc. This place is simply packed with stuff. You'll need more than a single visit to see everything. The only downside is some of their prices seemed a bit uncompetitive compared to bigger stores like Academy Sports but If other sporting goods stores don't have what you're looking for, chances are they have it here. I'm not sure if it was that fact, the fact that I'm female, or the combination of the two. But he basically tried to make me feel stupid for not knowing anything. But yeah, I just said I don't know anything, that's why I was there. He was very knowledgeable, he just acted like a dick though. I said I was interested in getting aluminum arrows since he recommended that. He walked off. I stood staring at bows for like 15 minutes. I assumed he had gone to get some arrows and was trying to answer someone else's question. Nope. He had completely blown me off and was refletching a guy's arrows. To be fair, he was kinda talking down to that guy as well, but at least he acknowledged his existence. I only gave it two (rather than one) stars because as I wandered back up to the desk to realize that he had in fact discarded me completely and was furthermore ignoring me, a seemingly friendly rep came stood at the counter and asked if I had been helped or needed anything. At that point though I was like... yeah, I'm not going to give this place any money. So I just muttered, "Yeah, I don't know. I guess not." And left.
