Great day for the family and the food was good. I would only recommend doing fresh guacamole for what you have now is too processed tasting.

Regarding the Disc golf course (Finesse) -With the recent price increase, we can justify there being permanent A and B baskets on the holes that have multiple positions. -Concrete pads to replace the rubber ones. Those things are a slipping hazard. -If there's construction around a basket, move it to another location. Hole 16 is a mess and the short position already exists. -One or two days a month where the rest of the property is open to disc golfers on the weekends. Cart rentals available to those rounds as well. -The last couple of times I've come to play, it's become more apparent that the new ownership is going to eventually do away with the DG course. The pro shop is desolate and hasn't been restocked in some time... -Course maintenance has diminished to near nothing. It's in poor form. -There was a brief time where it felt like the price increase was being met with a decent amount of course maintenance. That time has come and gone. The utter negligence to the disc golf side of the business feels deliberate at this point. Clearly you guys aren't maintaining relationships with disc golf vendors, aren't maintaining the course, and have jacked up the price to weed out the player base. Just pull the baskets and sell them off to those who want them. For what used to be the premiere Disc Golf course in the greater Houston area, this is an embarrassment. read more

I would best describe this course as a great walk in the park. Tons of shade and tons of trees greens were a little sketchy when we were there. However, price and conditions of course offset that. Interesting how the combination of disc golf and golf cohabit the same area. Great experience and great help at the desk. I'll definitely return. read more

Good Value, Good food, Great staff, The actual golf course is improving but still needs a lot work. I understand it takes time to transform a cow pasture golf course to at least municipal course quality. Great course for beginners and hackers like myself. You can play nine holes in 90 minutes or less which is nice. read more

They've really put a lot of money into this little course. They're still building the greens. It takes time. The food was awesome. The driving range bays are better than top golf. Full bar available too. Full pickleball pavilion and pro shop. It's a fun place for the whole family. read more

Man, the new Spring CC is a far cry from the old Spring Valley golf course! I took my grandsons to the range today and it was amazing! Clean, modern, covered hitting area with seating, tables and best of all, each station has its own launch monitor and computer screen! We ordered nachos and hit balls - it was a great outing! Price jumped to $40 for a round from $20. The deficiencies are numerous. 8 usable holes. 9th hole is a joke. Hogs dig up the greens. Greens are full of bumps. Cart paths are partially paved. Mostly dirt paths. Driving range does not allow driver clubs. Helllllllo.....? There are full 18 hole courses for similar price. The market will be speaking. read more

Great affordable golf course to practice in a more relaxed atmosphere. There are 9 holes ,some are par threes and some par fours. You have the opportunity to use your driver or 4 or 5 iron. There is driving range that is good as Top Golf but more affordable. There are food trucks, big screen television and pickle ball courts. It's a fine little 9 hole golf course. However it seems they cater more to "disc golfers" than actually golfers which is surprising considering golfers pay more money to play. Steven at the front desk and Amanda are wonderful people. Unfortunately i believe his name is Jim is a terrible person. As others have mentioned he will follow you around vaping and watch you the whole time. He was very rude and I don't understand why he still able to work there. read more

About a year ago the course was not taken care of at all, you had patchy fairways and destroyed greens, however the new management has improved the course somewhat. Out of the 9 greens, 2 of them were still not in good condition, very patchy as far as the grass is concerned. Each fairway was good, grass was trimmed down to the perfect level and you didn't have any patchiness or anything that negatively impacted my play. Tee boxes were not great, very hard ground (this is not unique to this course, seems to be an issue at various public courses) and sandy, had to walk around a bit to find a good spot to setup my tee. I do find it odd that you have to be 21 to rent a cart, I have never seen anything like that, most of the time it's 18 to rent a cart. This needs to change. Walking is very big at this course, so if you're going to ride you will be skipping around some people. Their standard rate is around $15-$20, which is steep in my eyes. Make sure to use the Groupon app to book a time, I usually find times for as low as $8.99 if you purchase it the day of but you can find $11.99 times the day before so you have time to plan. read more

Playable. Course Marshall babysat us the whole round. You could hear his anger in the trees. His voice echoed through my head on every backswing. His vape smoke sat on every green, covering the hole. The best part of the course was the price, telling a story of its own. If it wasn't for the course Marshall, it would've been a fun round. You get what you pay for. There aren't many Par 3s (this course has a couple holes you can bust the driver out) or inexpensive courses close by. Yes the maintenance could be a little better but overall the value for the money is at Spring Valley. I've never had any issues with management and I've been playing this course for 10+ years. Follow the rules and don't be rude and you'll get treated respectfully. It used to be BYOB and now they have a good selection of craft beer. For those complaining or comparing it to other courses. Fine to go out and hack a round, but don't expect much more. For $14 you can go walk around 9 holes and hack your way to whatever score you deem necessary. I have a couple friends who are new to golfing so this is a great place where they can go and not feel pressured to do this or that. In the same, I'm working on dialing in a new driver and can go out and work on finding my swing. Don't expect lush fairways and greens that roll perfectly.. you'll be disappointed. The greens are in poor condition as best and the fairways just depend on the hole. Lots of bare spots to be found.. But again, its $14 and most of the people here aren't going out to perfect their game.. they are learning the game and finding the keys necessary to enjoy it! read more

Literally the absolute worst possible place in Texas, if not the entire planet, to play any sort of golf or disc golf. DONT fall into the trap of thinking you'll just do it to "try it" or check it out because it's "cheap". This is the WORST experience I've had in the past 5 years at anything. I don't know whether to laugh about it or get angry. The greens are literally 95% sand (not exaggerating). The customer service is rude and lazy and yells at you for walking in the front door and going on their "grass" (they don't have grass -- just weeds and sand). And this place is clearly abandoned and not cared for and on its way out. As it should be. It would be better for you to burn your money and let the toxic fumes fill your lungs, than to get dressed, drive out, and GOD FORBID pay to waste your precious life here. I WARNED YOU. read more

This is hands down the best disc golf course/club in the North Houston area. The course is maintained very well, and there are plenty of challenges for beginners and experts alike. The staff is great and extremely helpful. The disc selection is incredible, it's like a candy shop for disc golfers. Absolutely terrible golf course. Paid $13, and it was too much. Don't get me wrong, my expectations were not high considering how cheap it was, but it did not even live up to what I expected. I don't expect to have to putt through sand patches on the greens. It is cart path only, because we were told "our grass is not meant for that". Translation: our fairways have a sand base and it is basically like playing from a bunker. Most tee boxes were torn up and impossible to put a tee in the ground. It is clear they have completely let the golf course to focus on disc golf. On top of that when checking in, the guy in the pro shop told me to write 51 and 0 on the golf cart waiver. When I got to the carts, I saw 51 but there was no 0. I assumed that it was just a filler for a second cart so we took 59. Then when we were on the first tee, he comes yelling at us asking what carts we took and he told us we were supposed to take the one that was blank, honest mistake. He then complains about us to the man warming up on the practice green, loud enough where we can hear him from 30 yards away. He then goes to the pro shop and comes back and tells the man warming up which cart he now should take "since the group in front of us didn't listen". Still saying loud enough we could hear from 30 yards away, while we were trying to take out tee shots by the way. Oh and by the way, the guy warming up took his cart before us and it was the one that was supposed to be assigned to us. read more

Great Pro shop for disc golf selection and very friendly staff. Cold beer available for purchase. Worth ever penny for the round. A long Power 9 that maked it a work out and a finesse 18 course through the woods for technical shots. Would highly recommend a visit by any level player! read more
