Stewart charged us a $150.00 restocking fee, told us that it worked fine and then sold it to an employee. This is bad business, @150.00 is a lot of money to charge a customer, that returned the light in good faith, because it did not work( but I guess the customer is never right) We paid for the pole attached also, an was given bad advise, because the one we had worked just fine for any light. Shame on you Stewart lighting and Nita for your behavior certaining this return. There was a reason your store was empty of customers. However, if your product is returned with missing parts and/or packaging or if it appears to have been installed with cut or stripped wires, we reserve the right to either refuse the return or charge you additional fees for damage. We will contact you with our decision and if you do not wish to accept our offer, we can return your product to you, provided that you pay for the shipping. Large orders, including single fixtures over $3,000 and orders totaling over $3,000 with multiple quantities of the same product are subject to a restocking fee.

As a long overdue follow up to my earlier review, I made a disturbing discovery shortly after that…read morewas written. Someone was doing a routine termite check under my house and alerted me to something being very wrong with plumbing connected to new bathroom. It was a quick unprofessional job that would never have passed a proper inspection. It also did not have necessary protection from toxic sewer fumes that could enter through shower drain. I called my plumber who took pictures and confirmed the work was completely unacceptable and even dangerous. Called ReBath who said they would send someone to correct work but I insisted I use my own trusted plumber. After some back and forth with ReBath, they agreed to reimburse me for corrective work. I still need to contact them to fine tune some of interior work but continue to put that off because I am uncomfortable having them back in my home. I know I need to give them the opportunity to make it all right, but fear I'm not someone they don't want to hear from.
