Visiting The Stashe in Fayetteville While visiting the ring shop in Fayetteville, we stopped by The Stashe next door. We were in West Virginia with family and our dog, and were happy to see they offer a pup cup for dogs. I went with the Blue Panda after some deliberation, but also sampled the Dark Chocolate Raspberry--both were excellent. Portions are generous for the price, and even though my cup looked small, it was still a great bang for the buck. Tasty ice cream in Fayetteville! This shop shares a space/doubles as a restaurant ("The Take Out"). Parking is a little tight since it's downtown but we made it out okay. There's a little bit of outdoor seating and a few tables inside but it's mostly to-go. They serve Hershey's brand ice cream and have a large selection, including sugar free and dairy free options! The space is very cute and has lots of fun stickers/posters/decor. Service was fast and friendly! I wasn't wowed by the flavor selection -- it didn't super suit my preferences -- but we did come at the end of the day at the end of the week, so I certainly could've had better luck at a different time. We all wound up with Moose Tracks (vanilla base, fudge ribbon, peanut butter cups) and it was enjoyable, like all Moose Tracks! We were happy and it was a nice way to round out our time in WV. It has changed a lot through the years. I remember when it was in a different location. It had lots of 80s memorabilia. I loved their shakes. They are now under new ownership and in a different location. It is a little further down. If memory serves me correctly, it is actually the old women's services building. They serve food now. They no longer sell shakes. That was a downer. They told me the food is really good, but we had already eaten at Pies and Pints. We got three regular cups of ice cream. It came to a little shy of $18. The ice cream was good and there were flavors I'd never heard of before. read more

Standard ice cream offerings - nothing special. Scoops are SMALL, and I had a giant hair in my ice cream from the scooper. They happily exchanged it, but definitely over priced for what you get. read more

My kids were set on milkshakes after a day of hiking, no milkshakes, but they did have a sorbet freeze type of drink, which was quite refreshing! Cute ice cream shop, but especially wanted to comment that my son dropped his and it went everywhere, the girl working the counter was incredibly patient, got us some towels to clean up with and then remade it for him. We came twice for dessert after dinner when we were visiting in town. They sell Hershey's ice cream--about 10 flavors or so. We really liked the praline pecan. The strawberry cheesecake wasn't very good. They have shakes, but I wasn't a big fan. They just pour milk in with the ice cream. Their sauces are just bottles of Hershey's chocolate, caramel, and strawberry sauce. The thing I liked the most was a sundae with praline pecan ice cream, caramel sauce, and pralines. The service wasn't great either. She seemed mad that we were there and not very friendly. Overall, if you want ice cream in Fayetteville, this is your place. A cute little ice cream shop in town. They have great unique flavors of ice cream, as well as your favorite classics. I ordered a scoop of white chocolate cherry in a dish and really enjoyed it. They give you a good amount of ice cream for the single scoop size, enough to fulfill your sweet tooth but not completely stuff you. I love the theme of the shop and the atmosphere is very welcoming to everyone. Right now they only have takeout, but you can easily order your ice cream from the safety behind the door. BEST ICE CREAM EVER! After a long hike, and serious I mean loooong, we stopped by this local ice cream parlor and it was our salvation. I ordered the Magical Unicorn and boy was it magical. It had this sweet cream flavor with some fun little surprises sprinkled in. Owners were very nice and helpful, plus even gave us a few plants from their store. If it weren't for our strenuous hike schedule, would definitely stop by again to buy a pint...or two! Hands down would recommend stopping by here if you're in town or just finished a 6 mile hike. tl;dr - do yourself a favor and treat that sweet tooth. 10/10 read more

This is a OK place to grab Hershey's ice cream walking around the cool town of Fayetteville while supporting your local economy. Nothing too special as far as service, we generally stop here every evening after bridge day.
