I've tried to find somewhere else when they were updating and closed and I was so sad bc there is no other place who has the quality of shakes like Toms my fav is large BANANA W/ Lil bit of toasted marshmallow ohhh heaven!!!!! I also have actually invented a beverage there it's a JUMBO PESPI W/ marshmallow syrup,I get that everytime I go to toms it's a MUST I'm not much of a meat burger eater but there cheeseburge is soooo delicious it's a must try add some of there yummy bacon oh la la !!! There prices are pretty fair and especially for the ultimate quality!! But don't take my word for it go check them out !!! I've never gone there and had a bad experience they are all soo friendly love this place

Old school burger and hot dog place in Oak Hill. Food and service were great. I had the burger and my wife a hot dog, would definitely come back.

Double original burger which you can get single, double, triple, or quadruple. This is double with fries

Restaurant offered a variety of food and I purchased double cheeseburger, Tom's Original. I would recommend to try location. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant was old with not a lot of updates inside. I will always value food over decor anytime.

Service was prompt and the food was great. We would go back again. It was good to go back to where I lived for 13 years.

This place is good for ice cream and that's about it, the breakfast is trash, and everything else is okay, not great.

Had a really nice eating and bar experience here. We drove all day and decided to eat here in our…read morehotel. Place was full of both locals and guests of the hotel. I was drinking their local beers and my wife had bottled beer. Good selections of cold beer. After a couple beers we decided to order. Monday was wing night so my wife got five mango rubbed wings. Came out perfectly cooked and she really enjoyed them. I got the Rueben and fries. My sandwich was great with a lot of meat, kraut, and a good smear of dressing. Our server was great and took great care of us.

We ate here our first night because we were exhausted from the journey up, but wound up getting carryout for our last night because we legitimately enjoyed it, it was sooo convenient, and there's not a ton of options in the area open later in the evening. I'm glad we took a chance on it! The first night we dined inside. It's a cozy little sports bar and exactly what you'd expect; lots of WVU memorabilia, a couple of TVs, and a nice bar. They actually had a Riesling available, to the delight of my mom, so that was a pleasant surprise! The young male host who seated us was also a super pleasant fellow. They were very busy because they were hosting a small high school reunion in what looked like an extra space for rental. However, service and food was still pretty prompt! Our waitress seemed a little distracted and had a hard time hearing us but otherwise she did a good job. We were still fairly full from lunch, so my parents and I split the appetizer platter (comes with wings, mozzarella sticks, jalapeño poppers, and loaded potato skins) and added on an order of pretzels and beer cheese, while my husband got an order of barbeque wings. Everything was about what you'd expect, which is to say, enjoyable! The jalapeño poppers and wings were particularly good, and the ranch for dipping was clearly house-made. The revelation, however, was the pretzel sticks and beer cheese. Holy goodness, they were AMAZING. Their deliciousness alone was probably the deciding factor in our return visit. When we got carryout on the last night, each one of us ordered the pretzel sticks, lol. Seriously worth the trip! Thanks for a reliable dinner spot during our vacation!

Just Like How I Brew it Up…read more We're usually pretty good about having our spots to eat lined up when traveling but occasionally we'll have a "fuck it let's see where we end up" kinda day, and this was one of them. I literally spotted a wooden sign along the 19 advertising for Freefolk Brewery and--after seeing the positive Yelps--we headed straight there. Established in 2018, this is the OG location for Freefolk Brewing, which has since moved their brewing operations to larger digs in Hico, WV. But this location stands as a taproom for their suds, as well as operating a small kitchen. The Good: *Love the location in the middle of nowhere. Really captures the essence of WV. *Décor is also really great with lots of paintings, murals, and other fun things to discover indoors. *Great dog-friendly outdoor space that hosts live music on weekends. *Small but strong menu that leans heavily on Greek/Mediterranean grub. *Nine of their beers on-tap (they do have guest taps as well) that features everything from IPAs to gose's and even sours. *Service was friendly and fast *Fast-casual as you order at the counter, get a buzzer and then pick up your food when ready. *Baklava cheesecake was out-of-this-world great. I loved the crunch from the Filo dough and pistachios and the taste of the thick, rich honey. *Food was surprisingly very not bad. I enjoyed my Traditional Gyro and Greek Salad, and everyone else did, as well. Nothing spectacular, but nothing terrible, either. The Meh: *While a small menu is fine by me, it might limit certain pickier folks who aren't into Mediterranean food. The Ugly: *Remote location is great during the day but might be a lil' sus at night time if you smell what I'm cooking. TLDR: Great spot for some Greek bites and tasty suds.
