The lead singer has a huge voice that is outstanding and is always consistent and wears a lot of hats that suits her songs. The bass player gets the bass going strong, the lead guitarist never misses a note and the drummer gets the beat going hard. I would highly recommend this band for any event. They are one of the hottest bands in Sacramento area. If you have a chance to see them they do have FB page and you won't want to miss this band. I give them definitely a consistent 5 star rating....fellow Yelp Elites get out and hear this band spread the word and you will love them and probably see me dancing on the floor....:)

We started at their old location in the heart of downtown Lincoln and journeyed with them when they made the move Nicolaus Road. They have always been immensely trustful, respectful, accommodating kind and just generally supportive to our band. We were always welcomed by the Tamraloo Crew and they communicated to us with clarity and in a timely manner. The space itself was more than large enough at our largest size (7 members) and plenty big enough for most bands. Set up and tear down are a breeze as there are numerous entrances and exits, and you have the privacy of your own space at great price that won't break your band funds. I highly recommend Tamraloo Studios, not only for rehearsal purposes but any music, dance, theatre related class or instruction or even tutoring if you need it! Their instructors are abundant (several to choose from), with different backgrounds and certifications and are truly amazing humans who really care, not only about what their teaching, but their student's progress and well-being as well. Take advantage of their first free trial lesson if you are looking for a good music, dance, theatre school or your scholar needs some extra support. It's a wondrous community to become a part of. My own children have taken lessons and have really enjoyed the experience and improved in their pursuits. So if you're looking, give them a try!

I would never recommend it to anyone looking for a positive theatre environment. In my opinion, the company cares far more about money than the kids. There are fees for what feels like everything, and parents are expected to volunteer and help with almost everything they do. It never felt like enough unless you were giving them more time or more money. The building was also often very dusty, and it didn't always feel like the healthiest environment to be spending so many hours in. The favoritism was unbelievable. I watched the same people get opportunities over and over while others who worked just as hard were constantly overlooked. I was there for years and never got a role that reflected the amount of effort I put in, which made it feel like talent and dedication didn't matter nearly as much as being one of the favorites. There was also constant drama, and from my experience, people would get pulled into private rooms and be accused of things they didn't do without feeling like they were given a fair chance to explain themselves. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere where people were scared of getting in trouble over rumors or misunderstandings. I also found it very unprofessional that staff members would speak negatively about students behind their backs. Hearing adults who are supposed to support children gossiping and saying hurtful things about them was incredibly disappointing. Overall, I left feeling like this company had serious issues with favoritism, professionalism, communication, and how they treated students. In my opinion, the only reason it continues to be successful is because it has a large budget and strong financial support, not because it provides a good experience for its performers. Based on my own experience over several years, I would strongly encourage parents and young performers to look into other theatre companies before choosing this one.

Not only do they do full Main Stage Productions at McLaughlin, but they also offer Junior Musical Programs and Mini Musical Production Workshops for all ages. The owners have been in business for decades and have a very extensive resume to boot. They like to give back in a phenomenal way, and often you will find fundraisers and local vendors when you visit for shows. I love coming to shows at McLaughlin and supporting the Loomis Community! A note about parking: It will fill up if you do not arrive early for theatrical productions! There is plenty of street parking on Swetzer Road if this happens.
