Pros: Easy parking, nice ambiance, quality juice, employees spend time with each customer. Generally very honest. Cons: More expensive than other shops, sometime you have to wait a while for them to finish up with customers. I've been there about 10x. Average wait time 15mins to be spoken to. I don't mind because I know they're fully informing their customer (and some local shops don't.) However, between the drive, the prices & the wait, I prefer the Vapory in Mt. Vernon. By far my favorite vape shop. I've been to A LOT of vape stores, there's is the Only store that sells Akston Hughes liquid (if you haven't tried it, you should!). They also have a great selection of devices - again better than any vape store I've been to. They don't just sell the same old things that every other store does, they sell only top quality products, they they truly believe in . I have loved this place since I moved here in 2016, however my last experience was not so good. I bought 2 new mods on June 10th of this year, I was offered a warranty and took it, for 12 months. The mods were roughly $60 a piece. Innokin brand. After a month and a half, one decided not to charge any longer. I returned to the store with all the proper paperwork, original boxes, etc. I was told that they no longer sold that model. Okay, no problem. The owner said they would replace it with the closest model to what I had. Sounded good. I asked if I could purchase a warranty for that one. He said no, but he could discount the new model and it would have a warranty. What I didn't expect I'd to spend almost 90 dollars on a new mod. Really? When I questioned him on it, he was apologetic, but why even BUY a warranty if in less than 2 months I have to go back in and BUY another for MORE than what i spent originally. I'll not be patronizing this establishment again. read more

I love this place! I really only use my JUUL (which has really helped me quit smoking) so I go here to pick up new pods. Sometimes I have to wait if there are other customers in front of me. On the upside, there are comfortable couches and a water cooler so I'm usually happy to wait. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes to be served. The most beautiful Vape shop around hands down! What a chill, relaxing vibe you get when you walk in and Eric helped me out and was very knowledgeable about his his products and juices. Luckily I did my research on electronic cigarettes before I went in because every question I asked appeared to be a burden to the gentleman that was "helping" me. Love this place. I've been there multiple times for various reasons: juice, coils, batteries...every time I go, the guys there are so helpful. I read a few reviews that have talked about long wait time?? I've never waited...at all. I usually go on week nights, not sure when other reviewers are going. Anyway, I have only recently started vaping and it's easy to get caught up in the newest and greatest vape gear. This place has everything you could want but they are not pushy. So this was my first time in a vape shop and to be honest before today I was't quite sure what vapping was. My initial reason for stopping in the store was that this location also serves as a UPS access point. The customer service here is top notch. The guy behind the counter was helpful in explaining the products and even the owner come out from the back and further explained the different products. I came in to pick up a UPS package and walked out with my first vaporizer. This place is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended! read more

I don't know what shop the other reviewers went to, but I have never had anything but good service here. In general, not getting helped isn't the problem, the problem is trying to get out without spending an extra half hour talking to the staff! It is true that you can get a lot of the same items cheaper online. I buy a lot of my juices and replacement parts online for that reason. But if you are thinking about buying something new or upgrading the help you get is actually worth the extra money, and sometimes the convenience of being able to just go in and pick up up what you need outweighs the minor savings of an internet purchase. I do wish they had samples of the juice flavors, as a lot of vape shops do. That would be an automatic bump up to 5 stars. read more

I stumbled across this companies Yelp page due to the fact that I was looking for their website which does not exist. I read the first review which was bad then read a review from yesterday which was bad. Followed by a 5 star review only hours after the bad review, seems like the owners had to put a review up themselves to get rid of the one star they have lol. I have been to vapexcape a few times now and I agree with the other guys. The first time I went in they sold me the "beginner package" which was 2 Zenci Twists and some liquid ended up paying about 150 for that. They worked great but I found out later they are just ego twists with Zenci name on them, all of that available online for about $50. The worst part is the cartomizers they sold me with them I can no longer use because they said they stopped selling the replacement atomizers, so now I had to buy new cartomizers. I reviewed this place about a year ago when I was new to vaping. I still maintain that there customer service is excellent and the store is very well done, but their prices are obscene. Everything is 3-5 times what it costs online and at other stores. I didn't know this when I started out, and I'd venture to say that many of their customers are also ignorant to the pricing. I'm sure that's why they don't have a website yet. Vapexcape is in the business of skinning sheep as opposed to sheering them. This may be profitable for them in the short term as vaping is a relatively new and exploding phenomenon, but as more competition springs up, which it is doing, they will be toast. Those skinned sheep will go elsewhere. This one already has. read more

Until now, Baltimore has lacked a local storefront catering to the 'vaping' community. The friendly people at Vapexcape offer a wide range of products but most importantly they take the time to answer questions and assist their customers in finding the right products and learning how to properly use them. They are passionate about the potential for these devices to deliver people from their addiction to smoking and have created an inviting space complete with a large, nicely-furnished, and comfortable lounge area for their customers. Travelled from Northern VA because they are the only retailer around that does software upgrades for the Provari P3. I arrived about 11:30 and was promptly greeted by Ryan. He took care of the upgrade quickly, and I spent the next hour or so trying out new juices and looking at some of the high-end stuff they had. My companion found her Mark Bugs bottom-feed Chalice, and I found my long sought-after Gus Lord mod. Prices were inline with other retailers, and another item my companion was looking at was price-matched for her. This was an incredibly good experience, and I WILL be going back. read more

Wow, I can not believe how expensive there equipment is. I understand that the 'brick and mortar' stores are going to have to charge a bit more than the online retailers who don't have rent to pay but they take it to a whole new level. For example, there replacement coils for the protank/evod/T3s are $5 dollors a piece, I get five packs online from a few different vendors for $5.95. In fact I've never seen them for anymore than $1.25 a piece from every other e-cig vendor I've ever used or seen. They also carry RDA Octopus Rebuildable's by SMOKtech for $24 dollors; online they go for $8.95 max. There vision spinner kits are more than $100 dollors when you can get them online for like $70 max. There Phoenix rebuildables are $30, online they go for about $12....I could go on like this all day. If you know nothing about vaping and cant figure it out online then this is a good place to go but once you understand dont waste your money in there. If you're a knowledgable vapor or no anything about the vaping community at large you'll know that this place is ripping people off in a major way. I understand a little bit of a mark up but increasing the price by 200/300% is morally corrupt. And when there loyal customers find out how bad there being ripped off there going to be upset and there going to loose them. The real vaping community is not ok with stores like these they're just as bad as the mall kiosks because they turn people off vaping by making it seem to expensive. Vape Excape is by far the the best shop in the DMV area. Customer service is key to any business and without a shadow of a doubt they have it. They welcome you if you are coming in for the first time or if you have been coming in for years. I said years.. They were the first shop in the Baltimore area and have seen the industry grow. They have the shop set up for the new vaper all the way up to high end mods and collectables. I started going there about 6 months ago and was blown away by the mountain of information the staff have, and there selection of the newest and hottest equipment and juice lines on the market. I travel a lot for my job and I go to tons of shops all around the area and none of them compare to Vape Excape. They really live and breathe "The Vape Industry." The mods they sell they stand behind not like a lot of shops that sell your everyday bullshit from China that breaks after you get it home. The customer service and knowledge base I can't say enough about. If your looking for a Vape shop that is gonna take care of you and point you in the right direction of where you are in Vaping I would strongly recommend that you check this place out. I am so glad ups sent my package here. This place could be a life changing experience for me with the Products they sell. The customer service is outstanding very professional. They take the time to walk me through every little detail. And there was no wait time at all. I am so glad I walked in to pick up my package other wise I would of never stopped in. Vapexcape is more than a retailer for "ecigs"...yes they do offer the best products but more importantly, they actually care about getting you to be a healthier person. They help you along with quitting smoking, if that is what you are trying to accomplish and they take the time to answer any questions you have - they do not rush you out with your purchases as other shops do. I come back to this store every week even though it's not really in my area because of their professionalism, knowledge and level of genuine care and friendliness. I've never had to wait for more than a couple minutes AT MOST. Oh and they sell a huge assortment of the finest e-juice. Not the gross cheap stuff other places sell who don't care about the ingredients and if they are bad for you or not.
