I brought 2 sectional couches and they did not shrink-wrap or cover them with blankets at all. Many items broke completely in transit due to the way it was loaded on the truck. I wish I could have supervised the loading but I was behind on some of my packing. I had a box where I gave specific directions not to pack anything on top of it, and it was labeled as such as well, but it was at the bottom of a large stack of boxes. There are many expensive items I will now need to replace. Do not hire them if you can't watch them load anything.

Good customer service is very important and I appreciate it! The movers themselves are good guys ...I had two sets. First day, no one ever showed up, no one ever called. I called them around 3 wondering what the deal was and was told just 30 more mins for hours until they finally showed up after 7pm (I had an infant needing to go to bed and it was 17 degrees outside in the dark) so not really moving conditions . They moved a couple essential pieces and were coming back Saturday. Mind you I would have just gone into work and rescheduled the move had they done the right thing and accurately assessed when they would show up. I told them they could come back Saturday but I wasn't paying a penny more for the move based on my dissatisfaction. Came Saturday and were packing up on schedule...when I realized they weren't padding any of the furniture...they said they weren't told to come with any supplies for wrapping furniture or packing supplies (to pack my kitchen), so then they had to wait for supplies to come and once they did 2 guys stood outside talking to the guy who brought them for 20 mins before they got started again. I told them to just finish up the work that they had already started and they could go. A mirror was broken and documented...I had new movers within a couple hours to finish the job. Monday morning rolls around and I'm outside in the freezing cold arguing with them because they charged my card again and didn't even bother to address my broken mirror. They argued with me about having to pay for an extra hour more of their time since they were at my house...ummm 1 day of missed work, 2 days of childcare, waiting for supplies to be delivered, having to hire new movers, a broken mirror, and they just helped themselves to charging my card for more time!!!

I had already put together a list of things to get done, and we went through the rooms that needed work and were able to put together a rough idea of what would be needed. Later I provided her the final list and within a week we had scheduled a date for the crew to do the work. Marcey, Jamail, and David arrived on time and, after a quick tour of the various areas, they took my list and got to work. Through the whole process they were personable, courteous, industrious, and engaged. Each had time to talk about the various processes and were generally just pleasant to work with. The list was extensive, easily a half-day's worth of work, but they were done in a little over four hours. The final walk-throughs of the various areas left me amazed at the thorough job and attention to detail. My role was to be available for questions, but otherwise I tried to stay out of the way and let them do their work. The questions asked were considerate and completely dependent on my judgement. There were some small adjustments as the work wound to the end, but the team was very adaptable and quickly worked through the adjustments, making sure that I was happy with the final outcome. Simplify with Margaret was easy to work with, their rates are reasonable, and the staff that I met were pleasant, hard working people that have a good head for organization. The day before the crew was to arrive I had discovered another task needed and Margaret and the crew had no problem with the change. The job they have completed provides me a great palette to work from for developing new work flows. Once I have a better idea of what I may need, I'll work up my list and give Simplify with Margaret a call. The company also hires out to help with Christmas decorating. I plan on contacting them to schedule a crew to help me with that this year.
