At the very least, ensure that you are present before you start defending behaviors and actions that you were not present for, but clearly felt compelled initially on the phone to apologize for. Sadly, you have not addressed what was stated with regards to my GRANDSON having to assist and being expected to, the unprofessional conduct of your staff and your children running amuck throughout my house as child laborers. Additionally, my daughter said almost nothing to anyone because she was so irritated and disgusted with the entire process. I'm just glad that this experience is in the past for me, however I STRONGLY SUGGEST that future potential clients look at the pictures that reflect what was my horrible reality . I'm sure they say 1000 more words than I ever could. I moved in October 2025, and I have still not been able to get a refund despite buying their insurance. What a scam. I strongly recommend you find anyone else to help you move. No one is responding to calls, emails, text messages, or Yelp messaging. Thank goodness for the CC company and PayPal...they saved me from a loss.

The service ended up taking three times the estimated amount of time due to their unprofessionalism, poor planning, and unmotivated employees. To pack and move our 1 bedroom apartment, we were given an 8 hour estimate and told we would be charged by the hour at $230 per hour. (Of note, the average cost to move in this area is $40-150 an hour, but we were willing to pay more for the superior services this company promised- a promise that went unfulfilled). They began work at 9:40am worked until 3am on the first day, still did not finish, and were late to the job site the next day to complete the job. They worked for an additional 5 hours before they left without our knowledge and with furniture still needing to be moved. They ignored our phone calls and text messages. We thought they had stolen our property, but they ended up driving to our home without us and left it on the porch unattended in the rain. They claimed they did not have our phone number to call us and tell us they left which is false as they called and texted us multiple times throughout the day and could have easily walked over and told us they were leaving. We ended up being charged $3,116.50 and would have been charged an additional $2,686.86 if we had not told our bank to turn our card off. They took advantage of the hourly rate and took longer to get more money from us. They charged us for 8 hours before they even showed up to work, and then charged us again for additional time without discussing it with us. On the first day, one of the employees literally quit and walked off the job site. One of them also stole $70 out of my purse while I wasn't looking. This just proves the unprofessionalism of the owner and the employees he hires. I am a first time home buyer and am so disappointed in the amounts of scrapes, dents, and scratches left on my home and on our furniture. They owner himself tried to lift a dresser by the legs and snapped one of the legs off, completely breaking it. After complaining, they sent a check for $300 even though it was a $600 dresser. I can not say enough negative things about the "management" of this company. We tried calling to talk to the manager about our situation and left messages that were never returned. Turns out, the owner, Lung, was on site working on our move and still didn't speak to us or return our calls for concern. Lung is a liar and a scammer if he claims this company is the "best moving company in Columbus".

Later I provided her the final list and within a week we had scheduled a date for the crew to do the work. Marcey, Jamail, and David arrived on time and, after a quick tour of the various areas, they took my list and got to work. Through the whole process they were personable, courteous, industrious, and engaged. Each had time to talk about the various processes and were generally just pleasant to work with. The list was extensive, easily a half-day's worth of work, but they were done in a little over four hours. The final walk-throughs of the various areas left me amazed at the thorough job and attention to detail. My role was to be available for questions, but otherwise I tried to stay out of the way and let them do their work. The questions asked were considerate and completely dependent on my judgement. There were some small adjustments as the work wound to the end, but the team was very adaptable and quickly worked through the adjustments, making sure that I was happy with the final outcome. Simplify with Margaret was easy to work with, their rates are reasonable, and the staff that I met were pleasant, hard working people that have a good head for organization. The day before the crew was to arrive I had discovered another task needed and Margaret and the crew had no problem with the change. The job they have completed provides me a great palette to work from for developing new work flows. Once I have a better idea of what I may need, I'll work up my list and give Simplify with Margaret a call. The company also hires out to help with Christmas decorating. I plan on contacting them to schedule a crew to help me with that this year.

Our roof was original to the house and thus 25 years old. It was time to replace it, and after we…read morerequested bids from three vendors we decided on Renfroe Roofing. Our point man was Shane Renfroe, and through the process he kept in contact with us. Their bid was refreshingly within our budget, and we chose the Rustic Hickory architectural shingles. The crew arrived early in the morning, laying tarps and getting items prepped. Our 7am wakeup was when they started removal of the old roof shingles and felt. Through the day they were active and engaged. The crew worked quickly, and were very professional and polite in our interactions. By 4:30 they were in the final stages of cleanup, and by 5 they were done. There were several passes with various magnetic devices in the final cleanup to try to catch as many of the nails and other metallic debris that had fallen during the activity. After they left I made a cursory round of the house and found only 2 nails. The next day my wife spotted a place in our guest room ceiling where the drywall/finish had cracked a bit. We asked Shane to send someone over to take a look at that and a few places where we had spotted gutter guards that had been pushed out of alignment. They arrived within a couple of days, and they after a thorough inspection of the area and the roof above was able to determine that there were no structural issues nor probable leak issues, and that it was just a thin roof/ceiling structure and some incidental movement with people moving around with bags of shingles. They straightened the gutter guards back in place and ran another set of magnet nail catchers around the house a few times just in case. Through the whole process, Renfroe Roofing provided good communication, timely work, and quality workmanship throughout the process. Beyond a few plastic "tags" blown about by the wind they did an excellent job of cleaning the area, and we are very happy with our new roof.
