A quick 11 minute drive from Colonie, I was there before 8am. It's a very unassuming spot in what seems to be an apartment complex. Only a few people were inside and I was greeted by the most amazing scent of fresh bagels. I ordered an egg everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, not toasted. I am a firm believer that fresh bagels do not need to be toasted, and I made the correct choice. I also ordered an iced coffee, it was better than I expected so that's a plus. I sat in one of the booths and when I had my first bite, It turned into a spiritual experience. It was soft, but dense, chewy, savory, the cream cheese tasted fresh and the cold cream cheese against the soft and chewy bagel was a bite sent from the heavens. I sat there is awe that I just found the best bagel I have ever had, 11 minutes from my home. I have had bagels from all over that can't top this. I savored every bite, it made my day.
