Then, I can decide whether to look elsewhere or wait indefinitely.... I ordered a couple chainsaw parts from this Southern States branch because they are the closest Stihl dealer to me. I first called on a Saturday, but the "parts guy" doesn't work weekends, so I had to call back. When I order the parts, on the following Monday, I was told the parts would be in on Friday and I would be called when they arrived. When I called around noon on the following Monday they said the parts would be on the truck coming that afternoon, and they would call as soon as it arrived. I went by the store just after noon today, two days later, and I'm told the truck would be in this afternoon around 2:30 and I would receive a call when it got there. It's now after 5:40pm, no call... and they close at 6pm. UPDATE I received a call the following morning. When I went to pick the parts up, they were the wrong part. When I originally placed the order I knew the part for my chainsaw was a variant, not the standard one. Because of this, I gave them the exact part number from the specific service manual for my variant machine... and yet, they still ordered the wrong part. Customer Service Tip #2: If a customer gives you a specific part number to order and it's not the standard, feel free to ask them to double check. But don't order the wrong part... Especially if you're not going to deliver in the time frame you promise.

When I was contacted to schedule delivery for the nightstands i told the woman that the bed frame was assembled wrong and asked if she could schedule time for them to fix it when they came with the nightstands. Was told sure, she would do so. They just left without fixing my bed because, of course, it wasn't put on their schedule. Will go somewhere else next time so i don't have to put up with meeting schewels every other week. Paid way too much money (including tips for the drivers) for this kind of service.

Purchased a live edge teak countertop online. The countertop is gorgeous, but I needed to cut it…read moredown some. Tried circular saw and it smoked and smelled like burning this beautiful wood. Called Home Depot Ranson WV, Lumber Dept. Told the rep what was going on and asked if they could cut it for me. He said no. I asked why. He said he doesn't have the saw for it. Asked him if he could explain what kind of saw so I could understand. He said it's a ripping saw and won't cut dense wood like countertop. I was in the middle of asking him if he might know where I could get this Home Depot countertop cut, but he hung up on me!! I went to Lowes to the Pro Desk. Chris listened to what I was saying, took a look at the pic of wood and saw I was using and in 2 seconds told me to turn the blade around and it should cut fine. I did just that and now I have the perfect size cut. Home Depot needs customer service training, at least in the lumber area. Maybe, they could contract Lowes to train them. Just saying...

The Harpers Ferry Gypsy Market is essentially the Phoenix rising from the ashes of the former…read moreHarpers Ferry Flea Market down the street, as a number of the Flea's vendors are here. Sadly it's not nearly as large in area, and parking is a fraction of what the Flea offered, but it's fairly well laid out, and I can envision it growing in the coming seasons. The Market itself is split into 3 sections. The west field is just a large open field and consists of your more transient vendors. The east field, on the other side of the access road, is considerably smaller, but is populated mostly by long term and "regular" vendors. The third section is the Gypsy Market, which is more of an antiques store than a flea market. It's on the same side of the access road as the east field, in a small building. I don't always have nearly as much luck finding hidden treasures as I did at the former Flea Market, but I do keep going back because, as I stated earlier in this review, I can easily see them growing as they build their reputation.

Super cute store in downtown Charles town featuring a lot of shabby chic and farmhouse chic home…read moreitems. Some are rehabbed pieces, most are reproductions... All could be featured in Fixer Upper. What I love about this store is that they also post on Facebook and I was able to purchase a chandelier I saw back in March the following November... I was lucky they still had it! Most large items are single stocked- so the best time to buy it is when you see it. I also love that they have many home accessories at very reasonable prices- if you are just looking to add a few new things to your mantle or bookshelves, you can come here and get it done for about the same as what you'd spend at homegoods. In some cases- less. And the items are more carefully curated- you don't have to hunt for things that go together- you can come into this shop and see exactly what goes with what, and buy a whole display, and rest assured that it's pretty unique.
