Wonderful!! Seriously such a great bakery! I asked for a custom vegan chocolate cupcake order the week before I needed them. The staff was amazing to work with. So quick with responses, kind, and willing to make special preferences happen. On top of all that, the cupcakes were AMAZING! so so moist and the flavor was awesome! Would 100% recommend this shop to anyone who needs custom deserts.

Sweet treats and a beautiful place to stop before heading up the mountain.

This is such a cute shop! We stopped in for a sweet treat and were surprised by the delicious options you choose from. The owners were just as sweet as the goodies they served up. You know it's worth it when a group of teen girls wanted to stay and enjoy the ambiance.

So cute! Snickerdoodle Bears. They're so cute and smell wonderful! Tea anyone?

ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY THE BEST! I've been in communication with the owner Anastasia, and after seeing their delicious choices since they first posted on Facebook, especially for this Christmas I had to end the wait! Anastasia and I discussed what goodies would work best and let me tell you so far what we sampled was DELICIOUS! I got husband a special donut, decorated for Christmas, we ordered gingerbread men for my mother in law and a couple of friends, and a mixed cookie platter. (Yes I will have a hard time sharing as I don't share dessert). The chocolate chip cookies are so good! I can't wait to taste the Snickerdoodle bear that looks so cute! We will also share the cookie bars and a couple of other cookies to share with our 90 year old uncle, because he loves cookies and what do you buy a 90 year old for Christmas? I have to say that everything is so tasty, and with the warmth and kindness put forth by Anastasia and her family how can this shop NOT be a success?!

Sugar Chalet in Running Springs made a stunning smash cake and cake pops for my daughter's 1st birthday. The cake was not only beautiful but also delicious--my daughter loved it, and we were able to enjoy a few bites ourselves! Communication through Instagram was seamless, and they were very responsive. I highly recommend supporting this local bakery for any special occasion. Great quality and service!

Sugar chalet was so accommodating and the cake was delicious! Cake was just what we wanted and more importantly tasted amazing, price was right and I recommend ordering from them for any of your baked needs!

Best baked goods in town! This is the place for your sweet tooth. Located as you enter Running Springs. This little cozy home style bakery offers a variety of baked goods that are sure to meet your sugar cravings from cookies, donuts, brownies and more. If you are looking to make a large purchase, be sure to place an order ahead of time. I personally would rather just stop by and eat my dessert there as the atmosphere gives you all the holiday feels during Winter. My favorites of theirs include: - Blueberry Fritters (If you're an apple fritter fan and love blueberries, this fritter is on a whole new level) - Oatmeal Raisin Pecan Cookies (perfectly crunchy on the edges and chewy in the center, plus the pecans add a new dimension of crunch and flavor) - Chocolate Chip Cookies (gooey chocolate in every bite) The shop also offers an array of artifacts that are perfect for gifting in any season from hand crochet items, and hand embroidery, to the cutest bathboms from local vendors. Ordered 18 cupcakes for the humans at my goldendoodles 4th bday. They were absolutely delicious and Anastasia did an amazing job decorating them to look like my girl! They were a big hit! I HIGHLY recommend this bakery! Quality food, quality customer service!

My wife and I ordered two vanilla lattes, the chicken and waffles, and a sausage breakfast burrito. Everything was cooked perfectly and flavorful, absolutely zero notes. The coffee is fantastic, the breakfast was incredible, and the staff was friendly and efficient, keeping the service moving quickly even when they were busy. We ended up coming back the next two days as well. We loved it so much that we came back one evening to try their pizza, and it didn't disappoint either. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Excellent food, great coffee, and wonderful service!

Ok coffee, decent folks, but overall really disappointing. Issues I saw:…read more The price! We had accumulated a few gift cards over time so we decided to use them to stop by. We bought 2 coffees (a 12 oz drip coffee with half and half and a 16 oz iced latte). We also got 2 bagel breakfast sandwiches. Our total was $39!!!!! Even my tiny drip coffee cost significantly more than a Starbucks equivalent! The Quality I truly hate to say it because I want local businesses to be successful, but everything was low quality. My drip coffee was lukewarm when I got it, my wife said she prefers iced coffee from del taco compared to the one she had here. But the really disappointing thing was the sandwiches. First, they came out heaped with lettuce (on a breakfast sandwich???) I've never seen that before, and we didn't ask for it. After we picked the lettuce off of the sandwiches they were very small (especially for the price!!) I managed to eat about 2 bites of mine before I couldn't stomach it anymore. It was just bad. The sausage patty tasted freezer burned and was extremely dry and the egg white was undercooked. I love an over easy egg, but this was not that. This egg was not cooked enough to be served. My wife made it about 1 bite further than I did, then she had to call it quits. All in all, we paid $40 to throw away our sandwiches and drink aggressively mediocre coffee. What really sucks is that I want to support local businesses! I would love to keep going to a small local shop. But when they rob us blind and serve food like that, I can't justify it.

The drink orders once made are handed out at the window on the side of the building. We ordered quite a bit, just wanting to try everything that looked and sounded delicious. My girls enjoyed the cinnamon rolls while the pretzel, and molasses cookie were my favorite. My girls agreed with me on the cookie as well. The grandkids enjoyed their cake pop. For hot drinks, we ordered hot chocolate and hot chai. For me, it was worth the wait. I would order more molasses cookie and an extra pretzel! The customer service was friendly despite the line of people that was coming through. Great job staff! I plan to stop by this house again the next time we come to Santa's Village.

Yesterday, Upon entering i noticed how super clean this store was, highly organized with attention to details. This ice cream store doesn't have tons so flavors but you can still mix and match, have sundaes, shakes & malts, floats, push pops, paletas, affogatos, hot chocolate, whipped iced coffee too! You can either have cones, waffles cones, cake cones dripped waffles cones, bowls or cups. With some outside tables offering scenic views of the lake, this is a great spot to take a rest from browsing and grab an ice cream cone, cold drink, specialty coffee, or sugary treat. Price wise, their offerings are a bit on the higher side - I paid around $10 for a large chocolate malt (shakes are cheaper) - but you will probably encounter a small, quickly-moving line upon entry. And though ice cream can be found at other village businesses, indeed, there are some confections that are unique to this site. Our server (apparently only one on a weekday afternoon) was pleasant and efficient, rapidly filling orders and fielding any questions as she moved to and fro translating the pictured menu offerings into the equally-tempting tangible goodies that excited patrons scurry away holding. It's hard to resist this little spot as you peruse the shops along the esplanade - and what's better than strolling around that walkway bend to the lakefront businesses with a refreshing treat in hand? I'm sure you'll find something that catches your eye and, subsequently, dazzles your tastebuds.

There's a full-service bakery with an impressive display case near the entrance (adjacent to the Starbucks), and the steaks at the meat counter were equally attractive. The deli section was doing a good business with several people in line for sandwiches, and I noticed a hot soup station, as well. I hate shopping at Lake Arrowhead village on weekends due to the traffic and, though this Jensens was doing a very brisk business, the ease of parking is so much better. I have been relying on the little market in Cedar Glen (a former Jensens, ironically) for emergency "basics, " but it's nice to know there is a larger, better-stocked, option available a short five miles distant.
