Randomly decided to get donuts here and was pleasantly surprised at how good these were. Super affordable donuts at less than $2. The cake donut was light and not too sweet, with a crispy exterior and soft inside. The donuts are fluffy and well-made. The girl who served me was also super kind and made my day by throwing in an extra donut.

Family owned donut shop offering quality, fresh, traditional donuts. Located at the edge of the Stater Bros. strip mall and easy to spot. I tried the apple fritter, and it was very fresh and fluffy. I actually prefer them more dense and with more glaze, but it was still pretty good. Friendly service. Decently sized indoor seating available too.

Stopped by for dessert after brunch and grabbed a glazed and a chocolate glazed donut--both tasted incredible with coffee. This place is seriously adorable! We noticed a big difference in donut availability when we came back after lunch, so be sure to visit early. The coffee smelled amazing, too. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

This was one of the 2 donut shops that popped up in the big lake area when doing a google map search. It's a small cute shop that feels like it's primarily an order to go. There's only 2 - 3 tables inside the but plenty of seats outside if you decide you to eat in here. The women inside were suppose nice and polite. They have all the basic donut choices such as maple and chocolate bars, glazed... however, they have this tiger tail with the swirl of both chocolate and maple and oh my it's so good! Had 2 of them myself haha The donuts were fresh when we arrived. The dough was crispy in the outside and fluffy in the inside. The frosting on top was not too sweet. Overall, I would recommend this donut shop if you're in the big bear lake area and crave a donut.

However, you can tell that this is a community and local favorite and it's a mom and pop shop that's been in business for quite some time. When we went, there was a consistent stream of people coming in and out to get some sweet treats and it was hard to find seating outside, let alone inside. Though they have board games if you want to kill some time. The funny thing is that I haven't seen such an old school traditionally Chinese aesthetic business in quite awhile. It's a bit kitschy and vintage, reminds me of those businesses in non-Asian neighborhoods back when I was hermetically sealed in the mid west. Anyways. Service was super friendly and answered our questions and we were in and out quickly. We got the scoops of unicorn poop (ube), a coffee ice cream, and a caramel ice cream. They melted super quickly and were a bit icier than to my liking, so I'd rather just opt for 1 scoop of flavor instead of the greedy money saving tactics my bf attempted and didn't even eat that much of the ice cream. Smh. I also got a caramel rooibos milk tea half sweet and it was super watered down. I don't think I'd come again, but it was neat to try at at least once.
