That name is all we needed to draw us in to this donut shop! Oh and the fact that my husband and I loveeeeeeee donuts! My husbands name is Orlando and my name is Jenny so from the begining of us dating we always used the hashtag #OJadventures we loved mimosas so OK was just so fitting to. He even got an orange juice box tattoo LOL so once we saw the name we knew we had to come by. The employee which I think was the owner was very friendly and welcoming and assisted us with all our questions. I did look the shop up on Instagram before arriving and the first video I saw said to get the plain glazed and wow I haven't had just a plain glazed donut that good in awhile. Maybe we just came on an off day but our donuts were not great. I got a maple old fashioned and the donut was dry and even hard on parts of the edge. The maple glaze on the donut tasted good but I wish it had a thicker coating of it, maybe that would have made up for the overall dryness of the donut. My husband got a pink sprinkle that looked a day old and tasted like it too. His other donut had a hair stuck in the glaze so he didn't even attempt to eat it. Donuts are a travel/once in a while treat so when I eat them I want them to be worth the calories. Sadly, these were not worth the cost or calories. read more

OJ's donuts came into our lives today and we are forever changed in the best way! We love fitness and we love donuts, so needless to say we know good donuts when we taste them, and these donuts are spectacular! We decided to partake in an afternoon treat for our toddlers and ourselves and walked into OJ's to discover the biggest donuts we have ever laid eyes on! We purchased a glazed sprinkled donut the size of a a frisbee as well as a couple apple fritters (cause you know a solid donut shop makes a good fritter)...now truth be told I have never been a fan of the puffy glazed donuts, they just don't have enough umf or gusto to them, I like the cakes ones...but, I took a bite of the giant sprinkled sugar bomb and it is the best glazed donut I've ever had! The kids absolutely loved, and we have enough leftover for a week of treats! The apple fritter is delicious as well, OJ's knows how to make a donut! Not only is the product good, but the service was so so friendly and warm! They even threw in some donut holes to add to the aesthetic appeal of our Giant donut! Prices are par for the course and they offer plenty of other drinks and flavors as well. We will be back very soon to try new flavors! read more

Okay, so this is my favorite doghnut shop of all time. It's not their creative doughnut, though there are pleanty of those. On one vist I bought a family sized doughnut about the size of Dwanyne Johnson's bicep. There were 4 of us and we had leftovers, no joke. It's not the friendly atmosphere though there is always a smiling face, a kind word, and plenty of local banter. It's not even the good prices. The first time I got my bill, I had to make sure that they charged me for everything. A great place to fill a lot of bellies before a long hike. No, no, it's none of these things. You know what it is. It's those off-the-chart, super-amazing, I'd drive all the way to Big Bear Bear-Claws that they have. Crisp on the outside, perfectly doughy on the inside, oozing with warm apple filling....it gives me goosebumps. We had too much fun last night and a sugar fix was in order for my bride. Swung into this donut shop and was pleasantly surprised to see a nice variety to choose from, but was even more surprised to see they had French crullers! Most shops have discontinued making these for their customers due to the special process and equipment needed. I picked up a couple of vanilla glaze topped crullers, an apple fritter and simple sugar coated donut. I stepped out for a moment, after delivering them to our cabin, and my wife devoured both crullers (which she was excited [obviously] to see). She told me they were GREAT (fresh and still "warm")! I had a piece of the fritter and sugar donut. Both were soft, airy and tasty . I was just informed that we will be stopping here tomorrow on our way out of town. Stopped by for dessert after brunch and grabbed a glazed and a chocolate glazed donut--both tasted incredible with coffee. This place is seriously adorable! This was one of the 2 donut shops that popped up in the big lake area when doing a google map search. It's a small cute shop that feels like it's primarily an order to go. There's only 2 - 3 tables inside the but plenty of seats outside if you decide you to eat in here. The women inside were suppose nice and polite. They have all the basic donut choices such as maple and chocolate bars, glazed... however, they have this tiger tail with the swirl of both chocolate and maple and oh my it's so good! Had 2 of them myself haha The donuts were fresh when we arrived. The dough was crispy in the outside and fluffy in the inside. The frosting on top was not too sweet. Overall, I would recommend this donut shop if you're in the big bear lake area and crave a donut. read more

I love a good donut! We typically make it a point to visit Dank Donuts but when we learned they are closed mid week we researched our other options in town and this place came up. I'm so glad we gave them a try. It's a cute and clean little donut and coffee shop that seemed to have several regulars stopping in for orders. I live for my simple chocolate glazed and tried a round and a long John and loved them both. I also ordered a mango smoothie that was delicious. Came in this morning and it was quick and easy. Ordered a sugar coated donut, chocolate glaze donut, cheese danish, medium black coffee and a small mango smoothie. Everything was delicious. The donuts were fluffy and doughy. The danish was super good. A little bit too sweet for me with the glaze, I'd rather have one without glaze on the outside. I wish they had that option but I didn't see it. The cheese filling tasted like cheesecake and had the texture like one. Overall super delicious. The total was $12.40 for everything. There's a $.50 surcharge if you pay with a card. It's $.10 a creamer if you don't buy a coffee so just beware of that! LOL! read more

So, before I even went grocery shopping for the weekend, I stopped by for donuts. OJ's was exactly what I needed!!! The reviews mentioned the apple fritter. No joke!! Best apple fritter I've had in ages. It was after 6 pm. Idk how often they make donuts throughout the day, but this fritter was so fresh and delicious! It made me wanna cry w joy! Just the right amount of crispy/crunchy on the outside and moist/soft on the inside. I was gonna just take a bite before I went into stater bros next door. Nope. Ate the whole damn thing. No regrets. Except, I wish I had bought another one. I also got a glazed twist and a blueberry buttermilk thing. Both yummy as well. But nothing compared to that perfect apple fritter.
