The spray machine was so uneven and the color "enhancements" they upsold…read moremixed into a muddy purple-ish black and there were very dark blotchy spots on my neck, thighs, stomach, feet tops, hand tops. I had to use alcohol and acetone to remove them like ink stains and wound up showering as soon as I got home because it was so patchy. Scrubbed for 45 minutes to get some of these stains off. The girl who worked there told me the machine had recently broken and been repaired, but it may be "happening again." When I called the store an hour later to tell her I'd washed it off and wanted a refund for this horrible experience, she walked that back and said she confirmed the machine was working and it was probably just my skin type and they don't give refunds. Eventually I pushed hard and got a refund but now I know it's definitely worth paying extra for a real airbrush tan. Not a good product, experience, or service.

My search quickly led me to Radiance Therapy Tanning. I walked in and was immediately impressed with cleanliness and friendliness of Radiance. I met Kim, the owner, who helped me select the color and depth of my spray tan. It sounds complicated, but she made it so easy! We went through a quick demo before I began, which was highly helpful. The booth was neatly stocked with towels, wipes and lotion - all the things you need to prepare for your spray tan and clean up afterwards. Even though the spray tan takes a few hours to develop, I noticed immediate color. Hallelujah and Spring, here I come! Before I left, Kim reviewed my after-care. I have had a number of spray tans over the years and Radiance is by far the nicest salon I've ever visited. I highly recommend! By the way, this spot is in Kroger shopping center, so parking is ample and convenient.

I had to ask for my own robe. Then the session only lasts 15mins which is not enough time for any benefits. But I didn't get time to undress. She's already started my session! The salt room was then out on the LOWEST setting. What a waste of both our time. When I left I was considering a monthly membership until this lady condescendingly dismissed me by saying, "Have a nice day". Didn't ask me how was my experience, didn't ask if I wanted a membership, nothing. I smiled and left. I'll take my money where I'm appreciated.
