They did their job but when I first visited a Sweet Peach studio in Atlanta, I knew I had been missing out on an even better experience. I have visited this Virginia Highlands location once before, but actually thought that I was booking at their Vinings location. Oops! Halfway through my drive I realized that I was going to a totally different place, lol. (The team was so nice, they assured me that if I was at the wrong location, they would have worked it out for me) Parking in this neighborhood can feel a little risky as there are 'no parking' signs all over, it's hard to know what to believe. I called ahead just to confirm if I could park on the street without issue during my afternoon visit and was reassured. Spoiler alert: My car was safe in its original spot with no ticket in sight. The vibes at each Sweet Peach are the same, adorable and covered in peaches! Peach rugs, walls in peachy tones, adorable peachy butts, etc etc. Once you walk into a Sweet Peach, you'll never forget how they look lol. Another fun trait of each Sweet Peach? Sex and The City plays on each tv. LOVE. Definitely easy to get through a waxing/sugaring appointment as you see Carrie embarrassing herself once again for Big's attention. The team at this location (and honestly, every locaton) is SO nice. They were patient, incredibly helpful and just sweethearts. Tammy was my wax tech on my last visit and she did an amazing job. Quick, efficient and we had a nice little chat. They really hire some great employees here - from the front desk to the waxers. Truly my favorite waxing studio!

I have been a loyal and happy customer until my engagement ring was stolen from here. One evening I left my engagement ring on the ledge in the booth and returned to get it and it had already been stolen. 2 customers sprayed after me so 1 of 4 people took it, 2 employees or 2 clients. But knowing that the rooms are cleaned after every person I can't trust to return here anymore. This has been a traumatic experience, I was hysterically crying in the salon but management lacked empathy and basically told me I signed a waiver. What kind of person steals another women's wedding ring. And after doing some research Ive sinced learned this is not uncommon for employees to steal valuable items from clients. I filed a police report and pursuing all options possible for my ring.

KIM, I miss you! I haven't been to KMH in too long and it shows. Let me start from the beginning…read more This place is like a waxing spa. I never thought I could be comfortable while getting the ​hair ripped out of my skin. I am not your waxing, gal, that said, after nearly shaving off my eyebrows - I wandered into KMH. It was such a luxurious experience. From the beautifully clean interior, the soft music, the fresh smell, and Kim's tranquil presence. I literally NEVER maintain​ a legit waxing routine​ but just going to Kim's felt like such a treat - a moment of pure self-indulgence. I continued to go. And boy did my eyebrows grow back into a beautiful shape. And you know what else, I really liked. This is going to sound petty, but there is someone out there that will feel me: She never pressured me for more. She never said, "girl, your arms...may need a little something...or you know I also do...xyxyx." So often I get super paranoid going into wellness spaces​ because there always seems to be an "add on" - and often I leave with either an extra service or​ a new insecurity. That was not the case with Kim and I appreciate that! She made me feel beautiful and seen and I'm grateful for that. Now, let me book my next appointment​.

If they are short staffed there should at minimum be some type of sign posted at the front desk to explain it or do not have walk ins welcome posted on the front door. This was by far one of my best wax experiences ever! I loved that she just didn't get to waxing she ask what was the goal of my wax, ensured I was comfortable.
