I re-read all of the reviews for this place after our event and really don't understand why there…read moreisn't more objective, honest feedback posted. We held a corporate event at this space due to our typical hotel ballroom being unavailable. This venue was an overall fail for us. 1. Setting - It was a bit dated and run down. The fixtures are gaudy, but in cheesy way. Quilted vinyl on the walls, gold-plated silverware, and a rusted carriage outside. 2. Service - The staff was fairly intrusive and unprofessional. The busgirl started wheeling around a creaky cart with plastic gray bus tubs in the middle of our dinner. After we asked the event manager to have her quit that, she came back out without the cart but with the same dingy gray plastic tubs. She also tried to take our speakers' plates while they were at the podium. The staff needs some training on proper service standards. 3. Food - The food was mixed. Multiple attendees commented that the food was sub-par. The cheese and app course looked great. The mains were less successful. Mushy short ribs and salmon that looked like they threw it in the chafing dish just didn't meet expectations. The vegetables left a lot to be desired - they were ok, but underwhelming. I would also note that there was no ice out for the water or iced tea. 4. Cleanliness - big L on this front. One of the stalls in the men's room had an unprofessional hand-written out of order sign on it. Guys - just hire a plumber. We also experienced a leak from the celling that left a gross brown liquid on one of our place settings. This is unacceptable for a corporate event, even more so for a wedding. So overall, the staff was pleasant to work with and nice enough. That said, I just can't imagine taking the risk of scheduling a large important event at this venue.

The event space is very spacious which includes the main area plus a huge full in-house kitchen. They provide round tables and chairs included with in the rental. All that you need is decorations like table covers to really make the place pop. You are basically given a blank slate to decorate it up to your theme. The only thing they don't allow as decorations is balloons and confetti, as those are difficult to clean up. They don't have a sound system, so you would need to provide that yourself. The restrooms are clean with two stalls for each the men's and women's restrooms. Because the community center has windows throughout, so much natural light makes the space warm and inviting. Great party space to consider for your next event!

It has that relaxed, family-friendly vibe that makes it feel like a true neighborhood gathering spot. One of our favorite events used to be Comedy Under the Stars, which was always such a fun night out. I didn't notice it on the schedule last year and really hope it comes back. The Hot August concert series is another event we look forward to every year, although last year's lineup felt a little lighter than usual. The venue itself is simple but well set up for events. The indoor restrooms are usually open, and when they're not, they bring in porta potties for the bigger nights like the summer concerts. Helpful tip: arrive early with a blanket or lawn chair so you can grab a good spot on the grass and relax before the event starts. Final verdict: absolutely worth it.

I walked into their lobby and was amazed how beautiful and high tech the interior design looked. I loved it! I booked my stay and was on the 2nd floor of the 3 story hotel. My room overlooked the pool. They are in the middle of renovations and soon this hotel will be even better...hard to believe. I went to breakfast which was free and was again amazed at what had changed in the world. The first was a pancake machine where you just push a button and you can watch 2 pancakes get poured, moved on a conveyer belt as they cook and then drop onto your plate. Be sure to have your plate ready..haha. The breakfast bar was clean and well stocked with eggs, sausage, oatmeal and so much more. The coffee station was fantastic. It is open 24 hours and you choose your coffee beans, had decaf, if you know me, lol, then the coffee machine brewed and then poured my coffee. A truly fantastic coffee station. My room was so beautiful and clean with so many nice touches. I love the dove hand wash and body lotion. Love it here tub and shower shampoo, conditioner and body wash. So many towels and a fridge and microwave. The bed was soft with 4 pillows. A nice size tv and the room was just lovely. Souzan checked me in with kindness and professional style and I decided to become a Holiday sink Express member right then.
