We ultimately chose to have our wedding here, because our initial meeting with Dmitriy went smooth: he was willing to work with us, allowed us to have free range on pretty much anything we wanted & of course, the venue is stunning! We loved that he wasn't necessarily part of a big wedding corporation that puts the focus on getting the event over with, he made sure we knew that our wedding day was about us and that we enjoyed it after all the effort and planning that went into it. Having our wedding ceremony and reception together at the same place was something we wanted and the venue was perfect for our wedding of about 80 guests. The Eleganto Rancho team did their due diligence making sure the venue was cleaned properly, stocked up where needed and making sure that guests were comfortable. We were going for a place that was very outdoorsy, surrounded by trees and nature. We also wanted a place that had plenty of FREE on-site parking without having to take a shuttle. After countless days and hours of searching, I am so glad that I came across Eleganto Rancho in Sacramento, CA. My husband and I made an appointment to meet with the venue owner, Dmitriy. He gave us a tour of the venue and immediately my husband loved the venue! We were able to visualize where we wanted to place all our decor and set up the space. There were many things we loved about the venue and honestly, our wedding day was the best day ever for us! Firstly, there's tons of space at the venue for your guests to park safely! Moreover, I love the market lights that are pre-installed throughout the venue! They're so pretty at night. Eleganto Rancho doesn't charge a service fee, there are no preferred vendors. You can bring your own catering or your own food if you'd like as long as it's approved by the owner, Dmitriy. He does require you to purchase a liability insurance, but it's very inexpensive. There's no food and drink minimum. No bar minimum. What's really cool about Dmitriy's venue is that he tries to keep it very reasonable when it comes to pricing! You have the freedom to decorate the space to your liking and make your vision come to life! Also, I love how he has a designated spot for food trucks, which my husband and I definitely took advantage of! We hired a taco truck vendor and it was such a huge hit! Dmitriy offers different packages: just the venue and venue + chairs and tables rentals. Dmitriy makes things very easy because he has rentals which include, but are not limited to: florals, arches, tableware, flatware, glassware, coolers, bar station, lawn games, canopy, tables, chairs, linens, luxury portable bathrooms, and much more!! The venue booking includes access to a prepping area, getting ready room, 2 regular sized refrigerators, a wine cooler fridge and of course a bathroom. You can rent these items directly through him. Dmitriy helped us set up the ceremony area, and the reception area as well. He also helped with trash disposal. Some of the best memories about Dmitriy was when we were setting up our own wedding arch, but it was getting knocked over by the wind -- Dmitriy saved the day by letting us use his sand bags prevent the arch from toppling over. Also, when my husband and I were doing our faux wedding exit and we gave our guests hand sparklers. Dmitriy came out with a torch to help us light the sparklers. He helped us light them a lot faster, which allowed us to have more burn time with the sparklers when taking photos and videos. I really appreciate him doing that for us. He also recorded snippets of the wedding and transferred them into my personal external hard drive for me on the same night. Dmitriy is very thoughtful and very attentive. He's super helpful and accommodating. You have to come see the venue for yourself at night time to get the full effect of how beautiful it is. I really didn't want to leave the venue! It was the best night ever. It was so peaceful and my husband and I even received a lot of compliments from our guests telling us how beautiful our wedding was! I'm not gonna lie, I was initially really nervous about the entire wedding process. Especially when my husband and I had 3 months to plan it all. However, Dmitriy was very helpful in answering our questions such as when it came to asking for recommendations for particular vendors. I'm so happy that everything worked out so beautifully! In fact, many of our guests told my husband and I that it was one of the best weddings that they ever attended. That really made me feel good because I spent a lot of time in a short amount of time (3 months) to plan it all with the help of my husband. We held a corporate event at this space due to our typical hotel ballroom being unavailable. This venue was an overall fail for us. 1. Setting - It was a bit dated and run down. The fixtures are gaudy, but in cheesy way. Quilted vinyl on the walls, gold-plated silverware, and a rusted carriage outside. 2. Service - The staff was fairly intrusive and unprofessional. The busgirl started wheeling around a creaky cart with plastic gray bus tubs in the middle of our dinner. After we asked the event manager to have her quit that, she came back out without the cart but with the same dingy gray plastic tubs. She also tried to take our speakers' plates while they were at the podium. The staff needs some training on proper service standards. 3. Food - The food was mixed. Multiple attendees commented that the food was sub-par. The cheese and app course looked great. The mains were less successful. Mushy short ribs and salmon that looked like they threw it in the chafing dish just didn't meet expectations. The vegetables left a lot to be desired - they were ok, but underwhelming. I would also note that there was no ice out for the water or iced tea. 4. Cleanliness - big L on this front. One of the stalls in the men's room had an unprofessional hand-written out of order sign on it. Guys - just hire a plumber. We also experienced a leak from the celling that left a gross brown liquid on one of our place settings. This is unacceptable for a corporate event, even more so for a wedding. So overall, the staff was pleasant to work with and nice enough. That said, I just can't imagine taking the risk of scheduling a large important event at this venue.

We walked around and saw the pool area was huge with the main pool behind the gate, kids pool, track pool, and jacuzzi with many lounge chairs. We brought our own towels and stuff to hang around the pool. We mostly swam in the track pool because it was less crowded. The people we were very nice about sharing the space because some people were practicing their strokes. You have to be mindful if you wanted to play music or bring extra pool accessories because there are some rules. Downside is that if you wanted to BBQ it has to be reserved ahead of times for parties. The steam and dry sauna were so nice to dry off but so hot. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Tracy was absolutely a joy to work with. They were very accommodating and helpful throughout the process... even when we had issues with our current wedding planner, Tracy stepped into support. My only regret is that we didn't hire them for the full coordination package. Unfortunately, this had a lot of small disappointments that added up to -I wouldn't stay here again. After being out a full day and coming back to our room, no one had serviced it. Evidently it's done every other day although this is not made very obvious. There's only one working elevator and the occupancy was very high, including a LOT of 10 year-old boys that like to run down the halls and play outside the window till 9:30 PM. There's only one trashcan, so either put it next to the coffee station or in the bathroom. Either way you're gonna be carrying discarded trash across the room. There's no provision for recycling. There's no luggage rack so one person has a nice place to put their suitcase but the second person would have to either put it on the sofa or the desk -which defeats the purpose of having a sofa or a desk. There's no hand or body lotion. The room refrigerator does not have a freezer so we could not refreeze our traveling ice packs. The towel rack is inside the shower, which I find weird. There's one hook on the back of the door so it's not easy to hang up too damp towels if you're there with your partner. I was unable to use the TV to check out and review my account. It said the feature wasn't working. No surprise. Breakfast on Monday was different and better relatively than the weekend. The oatmeal was thickest I've ever seen. I'm not sure what they use for eggs but the Greek yogurt and fruit was nice. On the upside, they waived the $14 daily parking fee (which seems ridiculous that they would even charge in the first place) & the shower pressure is fantastic. We did walk to a Mongolian stirfry place, which was very good, but this is not a pedestrian friendly area. We had to cross two freeway on ramps, which was scary. There are too many options to be OK with a hotel that is not customer oriented, but rather making it as economical for the business as possible.

Hotel has a pool, fitness room, bar, restaurant and breakfast is served Monday through Friday 6:30am to 9am (unsure of weekend breakfast since my stay was during the week). I used the fitness room. It is small and mostly cardio equipment. There are dumbbells in there but not much room to be able to lift if other people are working out too. I was pleasantly surprised to see a Peloton in there. Fitness room has towels and individually packaged headphones. Overall I was happy with my stay. My only complaint is the mini fridge in the room barely got cold to keep food. I was here for a week for a work trip so frequently had leftovers. With the fridge not getting cold enough, I was skeptical on eating any of my leftovers. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work. Also, it should be noted housekeeping does not come everyday day but instead every second night. However you can still request extras of what you need (towels, coffee, tea, etc).
