Flourless cake, lemon bar, raspberry breakfast bar
    Lucia R.

Got there at about noon so they were sold out of a lot of stuff. I tried a raspberry breakfast bar, lemon bar, and flourless cake. All moist and fresh. Very cute little bakery. Would love to try the berry tart and quiche next time.

Wonderful pastry shop and cafe feel. Everything is so cute in there. They had so much variety I can't explain them all. The quiches were especially great! I can't understand why they weren't busier. Service was wonderful as well. She was really great and patient with all our questions.

    Apple turnover

I stopped here with my nieces and nephew for some treats. We got a apple cider donut and apple turnover to share. The place is fairly small and luckily there wasn't a line. The woman behind the counter was very nice and polite and apologized for "not too many options" (there were plenty!). I hate to say this and am hoping it was just an off day. The apple cider donut was very dry (I probably should have microwaved some apple cider and dunked it in that!). The apple turnover was ok, the dough was nice and flaky but the filling was just ok. I'd probably give it another try next time I'm back in the area because, like I said, I'm hoping it was just a fluke.

    Military Retirement Cake.
    Emmanuel C.

Small Town Pastry provided a custom military retirement cake for me. The cake was very tasty but the experience was a little less than stellar. I called the day prior to confirm the cake price and methods of payment selected and it appeared the cake design was still be solidified although the cake was to be picked up the next morning. One of the focal items the field artillery cross cannons which I advised were the important item was barely noticeable in the design. Additionally the hand writing of the cake was kinda tight and a little less than stellar in terms of legibility. Overall the cake itself was delicious and I would order again. I would advise to have the design fully sketched out as this may have Aidee the process.

    My pastry selection

Everything I tried was delicious. The chocolate croissant was my favorite- fresh and buttery. I only had the pastries, but they also have coffee and some light lunch options.

    Winter ONEderful Birthday cake

We were so pleased with the beautiful cake Janice made for our daughter's first birthday. It was an 8" lemon cake with strawberry filling. American buttercream Icing was just the right amount. I loved the teal ombre effect with gold drip that she gave to the cake. Thank you for making the birthday so special !

The lemon bar was my first choice and I will be back for another in the near future.

My first experience with her? I called to order a smash cake for my baby's first birthday. I sent my budget and a reference photo like any normal parent would (which was the most simple and plain cake that I actually ended up making myself but better) and she laughed -- actually laughed -- and said, "Let me put it like this, you're asking for a BMW cake on a Honda budget." That's what she said to a first time mom and first time customer. I was disgusted. That moment told me everything. She acts like she's doing people a favor by taking their money. The desserts are mediocre, the food is a joke, and her public responses to reviews are even worse...petty, defensive, and dripping with the same arrogance I heard on the phone. Then there's her social media.. full of cringe-worthy videos that make you wonder how someone can be this unaware of their own attitude. And apparently she orders Instacart and doesn't even tip. It's all the same energy: take, brag, and belittle. If she ever treated customers with even a fraction of the respect they deserve, she might actually have a good thing going. But for now, her reputation matches her product.. stale and hard to swallow.
