I used to live on 19 mile and Hayes and would pass by this bakery when I would drive down Garfield or would go to the USPS or UPS. Each time I would say to myself, "I need to try to this place!" Well, the day has come where I went in bought a dozen donuts for my dental office and half a dozen for my work office. The bakery is very old school with wooden paneling, which I love and brought so much memories. Walking in the staff was very attentive and was able to assist me right away - super friendly too! The pricing for both items were not bad and affordable. Everyone enjoyed the donuts saying they're so delicious that it's dangerous. They were fresh and not heavy! Overall, I will be back to try their carrot cake and get more donuts. Would I recommend this place to anyone? They don't have as many varieties as others who are just donut shops, but they do a fantastic job with my favorite kinds. Here's a baker's dozen from today with glazed sour cream, butter cream long johns, and buttermilk cake sticks. They usually are still making donuts even at noon so if you stop by in the afternoon you should be able to find something good. They even have those big cronuts if you want something special. It's a full on bakery with donuts taking up maybe a quarter of the display cases with plenty of non donuts goodies too. read more

Have enjoyed Zerilli's for decades, however they do not honor gift cards that were purchased there. I had a $25 gift card that I received as a gift for Christmas 2023 (2 years 3 months ago), and was told they wouldn't honor it, as "their cash register system had changed". This is actually illegal in the state of Michigan. Pursuant to Michigan Consumer protection law MCL 445.903g: "A person engaged in the retail sale of goods or services shall not sell a gift certificate/card to a consumer that expires within a period of less than 5 years." So, they've lost the business of our family, and I recommend against going there. read more

What a cozy bakery! We stopped into Zerilli's while on our way home from running errands. At 10am on a Saturday this place was bumping! I could tell a lot of the customers were frequent flyers here and the employees knew them by name and their order (a great sign!) The options are endless here! Cakes, cannolis, bumpy cupcakes, Italian cookies, brownies, angel wings, bread, and the BEST bakery donuts I have ever had! We left with a slice of black forest cake (my boyfriend's favorite!), a cherry cake donut, a cannoli and a cannoli donut. Prices here are quite reasonable. My stand out favorites were the cherry cake donut and the cannoli donut. Both are different and not something you can get just anywhere. I would drive back and get a dozen of each right now with no hesitation! The cherry flavor of the donut wasn't too overpowering but it was spiced enough to make you want more. The cannoli donut was large and fluffy. The cannoli filling was rich and I liked that I got a good ratio of cannoli and donut in each bite -- the best of both worlds! The bakery itself is on the smaller side with no table seating. There is a table and chairs outside the bakery if you'd like to eat some of your goodies. Everyone was wearing masks here and all customers knew to social distance they best they could. I'll probably be back this week for more yummy treats! read more

They drag themselves to work day in & day out to bake away in a often hot kitchen before some of us have even gotten out of bed. To that I say thank you. This location is the best bakery in my area I have shopped at. It's hard to find a good Bakery these days because baked goods are in stores or now in specialty markets. All their bread is good here reasonably priced. You can find coupons in local market share books or the Van Dyke books. You can buy a loaf of bread with the coupon for 1.49 their donuts are awesome never had a problem with them. Tons of cookies by the pound cakes by the slice, strudels, cannolis are delicious. I've tried all the coupons that they have offered. The staff here speak Italian but they're always Pleasant happy and they love their jobs.
