It feels welcoming and professional from the moment you arrive to the time you leave. Making the appointment is quick and easy on their website. I've had to reschedule a few of my appointments due to work or life getting in the way. They've always made the necessary changes as painless as possible. Just having to text, call, or email them at least 24 hours in advance is so easy! Response time for replies to text and emails is the fastest I have ever experienced anywhere, bar none. Their website has great information as well. If new to the idea of sugaring the Info & Policies section will answer so many of your questions! It tells you what Sugaring is, how it works, what medications should be avoided when sugaring, age requirements, and most importantly, how to prepare for the appointment, in addition to what you should do for best results in regards to aftercare. The sugarists are all very helpful, knowledgeable, and informative if you have any questions or concerns during the appointment. The service based pricing with loyalty discount is great! Getting a Brazilian every 3 weeks is just $35 I live about 1-1.5 hours away and schedule my appointments about every 3 weeks. They have always been well worth the drive. I never tried sugarwax, but a friend recommended The Sweetest Thing to me and it was AMAZING. It was a vastly better experience than the regular waxing I've had before. Maggie explained everything to me so well and made me feel so comfortable. She includes immediate before and aftercare in her services, which I'm surprised other waxing studios don't have. I got the Brazilian at HALF price due to a sale they have for FEBRUARY ONLY. Honestly, go now because it's SO worth it and more. Had my Brazilian sugar session with Kayla while I was 9 months pregnant. Kayla was very friendly, extremely nice, and very fast. Yes, it was sensitive down there since I am heavily pregnant but she was very efficient and it was over before I know it. Maggie is friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. It's not any less uncomfortable than waxing - either way you're removing entire hair follicles from sensitive areas, but I don't have the same problems with ingrown hairs that I always had after waxing. Maggie gave me some great after care suggestions that have also helped. What I love most is the ability to go back for follow up appointments with less hair growth than with waxing. read more

I'm no stranger to sugaring... Been getting Brazilians done for three years. I was so excited to find a place in the Dallas area that specializes in sugaring, after moving back from Los Angeles. Sugaring is amazing is general, and I highly recommend it over waxing, but I'm really sad to share did not have a good experience at Sugar Mama. This was the most painful sugaring experience of my life. The technician I had ripped away so fast and did huge chunks at a time, which resulted in tons of broken capillaries... my entire bikini line is fully bruised. It looks horrific! Y'all I can't even express how wonderful my experience was at Sugar Mama. This place is legit and so are the staff. Today was my first time sugaring after having a couple of bad reactions to hard waxing. After today, I vow to never go back to waxing. Maggie was welcoming and walked me through the entire experience. It's really cool to learn about sugaring. Another plus, it didn't hurt NEARLY as bad as a traditional brazilian. The initial shock of the paste flicking off is really the only intensity you feel and that only lasted a millisecond. Maggie was also very quick so I was finished long before I thought. I also loved the after care steps she took after completing my Brazilian. You can tell this place is thorough and knows about skin. Additionally, the place was very clean, cute, on brand and quiet.
