So good! Quick service, amazing birria tacos and consomé. Loved the wide variety of food options from burritos to pizzadillas. The food was hot and delicious. The taco truck is located in a hidden area on Shaenfield. I'm so glad we stopped by because I just found my new favorite birria place. Lots of outdoor seating under shaded umbrellas. Love the Birria tacos and mini pancakes.. feel like that's their specialty. Asada tacos were okay- I prefer a little more grilled, had that "boiled" meat taste. I love their salsas- very spicy, as they should be! They have made upgrades like covered sitting area, DJ, etc. parking is easy. Friendly team but prepare to wait a bit. Place: Always fascinated with food trucks that have long line. Went here Friday night, like around 5pm and it has a long line. They have big area for tables and chairs and some have big umbrella for rain or sun. Service: The service was fast and organize so it was easy for us. Staff where pretty nice and since we don't know what we want they gave recommendation or surprised us with what they pick for us. Food: Worth it! So we ordered the Birria Pizza for $14 and it's already a big box for one person. I think this is for 2-4 people depends how much you can eat. Then the Mini taco or taco plate that it was so good as well. I preffered the Taco Plate cos I taste more the cilantro and other side dish. This place is excellent! Definitely expect that on weekends there will be a big crowd but the staff is always friendly, I know they home make everything including their sauces and are happy to answer any questions you might have. Don't expect a diverse menu as it primarily focuses on Birria but the Birria is delicious. The pizza looks amazing but it's huge so I have not tried it. Came here for dinner in a Saturday bright and if there is a line of people waiting to me that speaks volumes about the food. Ordered mini tacos, queso taco, torta, and a big quesadilla. The red salsa is HOT but so good and the queso taco I wish it was a little bit more crispy on the outside but other than that it was good and worth the wait. Will be back to try again! read more

Yum! The first word I said after my first bite. I saw a lot of peeps come up and take away but we stayed at the picnic tables and I hummed to Latin hip hop music I don't know while gorging on a pizzadilla. Wife had the taco plate. Quesadillas for the kids. All were happy. They huge sized Jenga and an oversized picnic table which somehow entertained them for 10 minutes. I hear this place gets packed during weekend nights. Oh, and there are other trucks here too. We had a sweets sampler from the truck next door. Buy something from them cause they looked empty. Anyway, no one cares. Here's my pics. read more

First thing first. Check their Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/Supertacowey/) page as they will let you know if they are open. This food truck is constantly called to be at various events in the San Antonio area and I know why after catching them open one night. Luckily they are usually in the Alamo Ranch area near Oreilly Auto Parts. This is very important because if you for some reason use the mapping app on their Facebook site it takes you past their actual location. I went with three pastor tacos and an asada quesadilla. They are street tacos so for those of you who do not know they are slightly smaller. They are still packed with flavor and at $1.25 they are more than worth the money. So go ahead and look under your car seats or that change cup to treat yourself. There was plenty of pork goodness overflowing from my tacos and when I asked for extra cilantro I was happy to see that they were not stingy with the greenery. The quesadilla was nice and you got plenty for the money. You have the option to get beans on it at no extra cost. I would recommend getting the salsa on the side to get a taste of the spice level first. It is not on their menu you see on Yelp but they also offer horchata also in a very large cup. Refreshing and just with enough cinnamon so it is not overbearing. The operators of this food truck are very nice and you cannot go wrong with any of their menu items. Yes I am saying that despite only going there once but the line I saw the day I went speaks for itself. read more

As for the food, it was decent but nothing particularly memorable. I was especially looking forward to the paella, but unfortunately the rice tasted a bit sour, which was disappointing. Overall, the service and atmosphere were the highlights of the experience, while the food left some room for improvement.

We started…read morewith the Pan Fila Conchota combo that is a combination of the two that is 1/2 gallon of hot chocolate made using a base of Abuelitas with additional cinnamon, and cocoa along with something special. It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.

As I said, everything was phenomenal. Unfortunately, there is one issue we cannot look past, although we have tried. The bagels are delicious, but they are the absolute wettest, slippery and slidey-est bagels I've ever had in my life. The meal is spent looking down and hoping my beloved or other guests don't see the schmear up to my nose. By the end, we are having to reconstruct our bagel, as it looks like roadkill on the table. It is not a user error, as we eat slowly and carefully. I even have friends who refuse to come back here because it was the messiest eating experience of their lives. It's so unbelievably messy. We have to rinse off in their bathroom before leaving. I have to take my rings off and put my hair up. It's a commitment, one we are not strong enough to make at this point. They definitely have some work to make this a comfortable dining experience but I wouldn't let it stop you from trying some phenomenal Vietnamese food.

The only challenge I had was that this an authentic Mexican restaurant and our waiter spoke very little English and unfortunately I speak very little Spanish, so he did not understand when I asked for my daughter's tacos to be made without the cilantro and onion so when the food came out they had to remake her tacos. But when they did, the tacos were hot and fresh, and she enjoyed them too. I will definitely go back when I'm in San Antonio, I will just have my friends who speak Spanish fluently order for me.
