If you're looking for a spot that gives luxury and vibes, The Tampa Edition does not disappoint. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you're in a whole different city, think Miami meets New York, with a touch of art gallery energy. We started upstairs at the Arts Club, which is a whole mood. The lighting, music, and overall aesthetic? Flawless. It's the kind of place where you want to stay awhile, sip something smooth, and take it all in. The cocktails were creative, balanced, and served with style. The food was just as impressive. Every bite felt intentional and elevated. I would have liked the veggies from the Winter Vegetables & Shrimp Tempura to be a little more cooked, but still pretty decent. The sauce on the oxtail gyoza... Chefs Kiss. The Channelside Roll is also a must try. The ambience throughout the Edition is unmatched. Perfect for a night out when you want to get dressed up and feel like you're somewhere special. Just know... It's definitely giving premium experience, so be ready to spend a few coins. Worth it though. Also, photo worthy no matter the spot... Especially the stairs. Super cute!
I stayed here for business travel so my company paid for the hotel. Beautiful hotel but at a steep rate. Can't complain about anything. Gym was super clean and the room was really nice.
The most amazing hotel in Tampa. It's all there around you including a world class market place with absolutely fabulous pastries, particularly their croissants. There's even a modern luxury French restaurant across the street with the mostest magnificent caviar and duck confit. Who ever heard of such a thing!!!
Such an insanely beautiful space. We stopped in for a drink at the lobby before our dinner reservations downtown and were blown away with the upscale vibes in the entryway alone. Definitely looking to make our accommodations here in the future to experience all the Edition has to offer. Thank you to the staff at the bar lobby for being so kind, we really enjoyed our wine and truffle fries!
Went to the EDITION rooftop bar on a Sunday afternoon with a friend, and honestly, the vibe was everything- relaxed, chic, and not crowded at all, which made it perfect for catching up. The rooftop itself is gorgeous, with a modern and upscale aesthetic and a beautiful city view. Now about the food and drinks: the cocktail I had was fine, but not the best I've ever had. The appetizers were okay too, but definitely on the pricey side for what you get. If you're coming here, don't come for the food- come for the ambiance. That's the real star of the show, and it's worth it if you want a classy, elevated spot to hang out. Would I go back? 100%- but for the vibes, not the menu.
The interior is 10 out of 10, the breakfasts are 9 out of 10, and most importantly, the staff are not all very rude, but there are some. Some even scoffed when a person took a picture, it really spoils the impression on the institution itself, even if all the other criteria are good
The Tampa Edition Hotel was such an amazing experience. I stayed here for 5 days to celebrate my birthday and I couldn't have chosen a better hotel. They paid attention to the small things and for that alone I loved it. This will definitely be my Tampa Hotel of choice.
My husband planned a our first tampa staycation thurs- sat check in Housekeeping was a little delayed but not enough to change rating Bonvoy upgraded our rooms based on availability upon check in Service was amazing thanks Freddie , Spa day was Friday Spa includes complimentary beverages and snacks I love that you can create your own tea bag Thank you Marlene and Kristen @ the spa for our couples massage- they wouldn't even let me carry my own water walking the hallways Hotel was a beautiful boho themed destination with multiple surrounding eateries within walking distance For parking we did valet - team took great care of our vehicles Our stay also included a $30 daily credit which was nice to use grabbing a beverage or dessert Rooms were spacious and modern with plenty of closet space Hotel is across from Amelie Arena and there was a concert that Friday we were unaware of Security was updated and I love that you had to have to have a hotel key to access guest sleeping area More I could say - cannot wait to visit again soon
My dear friend takes me here to The Edition or Boulon & I love the expresso martini!! It was too packed last night at Boulon so we walked across the street to The Edition for the famous espresso martinis. He lives around the corner & these are our go to spots!!! We love it!!!
The rooftop bar was beautiful and the drinks were good, however the service was disappointing. The bartender was not friendly or welcoming and my $20 gimlet was served in a plastic rocks glass and we were informed that's because the bar is located next to the pool, which I accepted - until a couple that sat down next to us were served martinis in glass stemware. Would not recommend, with so many other nice options in the area spend your money somewhere else.
I love the overall feel of The Edition when you walk in. It's definitely smaller than the Miami location but still the same feel. Lots of white with so many pretty plants. We've been meaning to visit the rooftop bar and finally got to it. You can totally just walk outside and enjoy the sunset without purchasing drinks, they weren't strict about buying anything. The drinks are a little pricey, but pretty much you know you're paying for the location. We tried two different cocktails on the menu. I got the Green Juice Gimlet, $20 and my husband got the Garden Margarita, $19. Of the two I preferred the Gimlet but maybe it's just because I'm never a huge fan of mezcal. But both drinks were good, just steep prices and they include tip already. Definitely a spot to take some insta pics! There's a few other bars and restaurants worth checking out too.
This hotel is amazing and beautiful at every turn. We stayed here as part of the Amex Platinum Fine Hotel program. It has to be booked through Amex travel and the nightly rate is higher than booking directly through the hotel. It does give multiple perks. We get $200 back on the room rate, $100 to spend at the hotel restaurants or spa, $85 credit toward breakfast, early checkin (we were in our room at noon), and late checkout (we could have stayed until 4pm). The hotel has a $45 resort fee (I think) but you get $40 credit toward use at one of the restaurants. Valet parking is $54/night. At checkout we realized that the credits don't get added together and used toward meals. The $85 for breakfast can only be used at breakfast and unused money does not go toward other charges. Now we know. If you can't check in right away, they will hold your bags. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the lobby area. They also will give you cartons of water. We took advantage of the free admission to the Tampa Bay History Center and the free water taxi ride. The round-trip water taxi ride ended up being a hop on hop off type taxi that goes all around Tampa Bay and up one of the side water areas. The room was larger than a standard room with modern furniture. My husband banged his lower leg on the platform bed, so be careful with that. The mini bar area was extensive with 375 mL bottles of liquor. The prices were outrageous, like seven dollars for a can of diet soda. There's a Publix across the street. You use your key card to get up to the guest floors so that is nice security. The valet was quick to bring our car but just notify them ahead of time like it says on the ticket. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was not too busy on the Sunday night before Christmas. They have a variety of lighting in the room. I loved the robes provided in the room. The shower had a rain shower head and handheld shower head with no bathtub. They probably have some rooms that do have a bathtub. The pool is located threw part of one of the restaurants so I'm not sure how that works with kids that might be used to wearing their bathing suit from the hotel room to the pool. Apparently the outside pool area is for hotel guests only up until a certain point at night. Also, I read that on Friday and Saturday night it turns into a nightclub type vibe with DJ.
Visited the Tampa EDITION using a ResortPass day pass, and it was such a great experience! The rooftop ambiance was incredible...chic and relaxing with great views. The heated pool was perfect, especially on a breezy day, making it easy to lounge and unwind. Lunch and cocktails poolside were a treat--the lemon drop martinis were perfectly balanced, and the Greek salad with added chicken was light, refreshing, and flavorful. From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the aesthetic of the lobby,every detail was stunning! I can only imagine what the rooms look like. I'd definitely return for an overnight stay to fully experience everything the property has to offer. Highly recommend for a luxurious and relaxing getaway!

This is easily one of the most beautiful rooftops in Tampa. The space feels like a garden oasis floating above the city -- lush greenery, poolside lounge vibes, great music, and an overall atmosphere that makes you feel like you're on vacation, even if you're local. The crowd is stylish but still relaxed, and it strikes a nice balance between "social spot" and "chill upscale hangout" instead of the chaotic club energy you get at other rooftops. Perfect for a girls' night, date night, or just grabbing a drink and soaking up the ambiance. Service was attentive even though it was busy, and the bartenders were friendly and quick. Drinks were good, the presentation was on point, and it didn't feel rushed. Between the design, the vibe, and the atmosphere, this is one of those places that's just fun to be in -- definitely a go-to for night-out-without-too-much-chaos energy. Obviously cannot forget to mention it's the best spot for rooftop photos!! read more
Did a little staycation and such a cute hotel! The room was almost freezing (yesss), the service was top tier, and the location was prime. Absolutely loved the rooftop, heated saltwater pool - a little sad that there was a private event that cut into our time there, but still loved it! The food is pricey... and it's good, but I feel you could walk / quick drive elsewhere for just as good / better and lower prices, but I get it, you're also paying for convenience. The service though honestly was phenomenal! Every single person I came into contact with. Valet is almost $60/night but with the prices of parking around that area, really not bad. Love that the $40 resort fee includes $30 in food/beverage and a free water taxi ride AND entrance into the Tampa history museum. I honestly want to do another staycation here just to enjoy the ambiance! All the bars were moody, in the best way. Lobby bar was probably the most fun though. read more

Lobby bar was good. Service was outstanding despite how busy they were. The vibe is good but it is small. Everyone having a good time. A bit eclectic. We went upstairs to check out the rooftop, another cool bar. But it was too cold that night. Seats along the pool were roped off. Highly recommend both. Loved all the plants in the lobby. read more
I love everything about The Edition starting from the smell of the lobby and the decor. The front desk staff is always friendly and welcoming. Rooms are really well kept, along with the pool and all the common areas. The punch room is an incredible experience with unmatched service and a truly exceptional mixology experience. read more

Very beautiful overall. That including interior decoration and bathrooms. Went to the cafe within the lobby area (turn right when you enter) and got a Coffee, Matcha, and a sweet Cinnabon. Matcha isn't sweet FYI, but that's okay because that's how typical matcha is. Coffee was good and Cinnabon was pretty good too, the lady was also nice enough to plate it nicely for my girlfriend to take a picture. The cafe workers overall were very kind people so definitely give them a raise. What made it 3 stars was the older people who are at the front disk who didn't really welcome us because I guess we looked out of place compared to the treatment they gave to 2 older men who looked more put together in suits. Overall nice lobby and cafe area. Wouldn't come again unless I wanted to take some pictures but that's really it. read more

Fabulous rooftop bar with beautiful city and water views! I felt like a celebrity visiting this very high end hotel. It smelled amazing of course as soon as we walked in. We were meeting friends in the lobby and sat for a few minutes to admire all of the plants and architecture. We took the elevator up to the roof and grabbed seats at the bar right away. There were people enjoying lunch, lounging poolside, and swimming. The flowers and plants makes it feel like you are at a conservatory. Absolutely beautiful! I had a glass of wine and enjoyed the ambiance. I will definitely go back here!! read more

My husband booked a weekend stay as a surprise for my birthday and all I can say is WOW. I have never had such amazing service at a hotel and I cannot wait to come back. The service, the aesthetic, the food, the drinks, everything was absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough for any special occasions you might have or if you are just looking to treat yourself or a loved one. It was a wonderful experience and I will absolutely be a returning customer. read more

On the surface, the lobby is beautiful and you feel as if you are walking into an oasis. But this missed the mark for us in multiple ways. The thing that was most off-putting was how crowded it was when we returned in the evening. I am not accustomed to five-star hotels having so many people in the lobby that you can't enjoy a cocktail at the bar or appreciate the hotel. I guess this is a place people go to "be seen," but I prefer a place that caters more to its paying hotel guests rather than random people off the street wanting to look and feel cool. It was a bummer to come back in the evening and feel we had to escape to our room because it was a zoo downstairs. I tried for a while to get a drink at the bar and just gave up. That's not what I expect for paying what we did for this hotel. And it was a Thursday, not even a weekend! The pool was the highlight though! Thankfully, they do not seem to allow non-guests to access the rooftop pool and bar area (at least when we were there), so that is a serene, lovely place to spend the afternoon. There are plenty of umbrellas to keep you cool, and the drink service, albeit pricey, is really prompt and friendly. The room didn't really impress. The decor was kind of a sterile vibe, and our view was of some parking lot and another building. There was some fuzzy blanket on my bed that had stains all over the underside (gross!!), so I quickly threw it on the floor. The bathroom was decent with a nice shower, but the toilet gave off an unpleasant odor. The price tag did not match what we received. Also, it is worth mentioning there is a weird odor throughout the hotel, especially the lobby. It was so intense that it gave me a bit of a sore throat by the second day. We even overheard random people commenting on how it "smelled" when they walked in. So fragrance sensitive people beware! To end on a positive note, though, the Market restaurant and the coffee bar were very good, with great service and food/drinks! read more
Highly recommend if your a big Instagram Photo enthusiast hehe Very cute. Very Miami vibes. We came here for drinks on the rooftop Drinks were good. Music was good there was a live band playing The view beautiful Dislikes Plants and trees are fake With a beautiful plant store around corner was saddened that they don't use local mom and pop for plants. They started cleaning up the lounge chairs when the bar was busy what a way to make people leave Might try it again In the day time see the vibe then. read more
The edition is Tampa's premier spot for an exciting night on the town. The cocktails are great here, and the staff is superb. The hotel is stunning; you feel like you're in Tulum entering the lobby. The feel of the hotel gives off a very Miami vibe if you're into that feel. read more

The hotel was nice. All staff were great. I only stayed at the hotel for a day though sadly. But, this food was amazing. The burger was tender and juicy, the piña colada's were cold and smooth, and the fries had plenty of seasoning, and some wonderful ketchup to spare. If you are looking for a peaceful stay, a luxury stay, or just to see a hockey game, this hotel is a 10/10. read more
For the most part and a very wonderful stay. The beginning went smoothly and had a great time enjoying the pool in the evening after a hot day in the sun. The not so smooth part came when I checked out and there weee incorrect charges. After emailing back and forth and calling, it is finally fixed but definitely wasted a lot of time. read more

I loved everything about the Spa at the Tampa Edition! Decided to do a day of relaxation and opted for their 50 minute massage, which was incredible. The facility is very relaxing, clean and their signature scent is intoxicating (I purchased their candle to bring the scent home). Every spa service booked allows you access to their showers, sauna/steam room, and complimentary valet. It's not something I would do often, but definitely a nice treat from time to time or for special occasions. I would like to thank the staff for being so accommodating, friendly and down to earth. It's not often you find that in a luxury spa/establishment. read more
Finally got to check out the Edition for drinks! So many parts of this hotel are just stunning. We had a round of drinks at 3 of the different bars and really enjoyed all the different drinks. The hotel had a fun atmosphere and the staff were very kind. Some small improvements and more attention to detail would easily make this place 5 stars for me. read more

No, contrary to rumors, they allow all people of all races and genders whether or not you are a guest to use the pool as a restroom and grab a free drink while you're there.

Hello Kelly, We offer lunch in Market from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm and in Azure from 11:00 am to 4:00…
Is there a happy hour?
No. Plus, they just opened and are packed! Being there makes you happy at any hour but I suspect this is not likely to be a place offering discounted drinks or food items anytime soon...
