It's been pouring rain for days and a holiday to Barcelona is closely approaching. Looking like Casper the Ghost is a no-no when trying to enjoy the sun and surf of the Mediterranean; something had to be done. Tucked away along Covent Garden, the Tanning Shop was the solution.

He didn't have me fill out any disclaimer forms, which I found a little bit surprising.
They do have stand-up booths at this location and the radio in the booth allows you pass the time by listening to techno while you tan. I like that I didn't have to pay extra for the little wink eye-covers because I've been to salons where they do charge for them.
It was not the most luxurious of salons, but the Tanning Shop was clean and served its purpose. read more
