The atmosphere was calm, clean, and incredibly relaxing from the moment we walked in. The massage therapists were excellent, they instinctively knew exactly what I needed. They used just the right amount of pressure and worked through a tremendous amount of tension in my shoulders and neck. I tend to carry stress for long periods of time and live in a constant "fight or flight" mode, so when someone truly works out those deep knots and helps your body relax, it can almost feel like a shock to your system. I was a little nauseous afterward, but that's completely normal when you release that much built-up tension. After a carb-heavy, high-protein meal with a little sodium, I felt much better. The next morning I'm definitely sore, but again, that's expected when you've been holding onto that much tightness. What matters most is that I feel lighter, both physically and emotionally. My circulation feels better, the tension is gone, and I genuinely feel like a heavy burden has been lifted off my shoulders. My husband and I absolutely plan to return regularly.
