I've lived in the area for a long time and can't believe I hadn't come across this place sooner! The service is excellent. Scheana did my pedicure, and she was so thorough and she really took her time, which feels rare these days. Since I had to be somewhere after and wasn't expecting my pedicure to be that amazing, she also gave me a quick basic manicure, which was still great. From what I've read and now experienced, their gel lasts much longer than most places because they use a builder gel as a base. Well, if you're away from home and need a mani/pedi, this place is pretty good. My nails lasted more than two weeks. The staff speaks Korean and the patrons are not very diverse. Tl;dr: I got cut 5 times and my manicure only lasted 2 days Full story: a friend and I tried this salon for the first time over the weekend. The location is nice and the space looked spacious and clean. There was no wait for a manicure and all of the staff were welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, there's where the good ends. My manicurist soaked my fingers for literally about 10 seconds before roughly jamming my cuticles back and tugging on them with the clippers. This was painful and not at all relaxing. I told her that it was hurting and she said it's my fault for "letting them get bad" (to note, I am a professional woman who takes good care of her hands). A few moments later, I realize that all of the nail beds on my right hand are dripping blood. The manicurist is flustered now and using the powder to try to get the blood to stop and keeps telling me that I am "too sensitive." I was still friendly and not angry, but the experience was totally blown by now. She then cuts me one more time, on my left hand, and tells me again that it's my fault. At this point, I have 5 open wounds and just want to leave. She quickly applies the paint (leaving ample space around my wounds, which makes my paint look grown out...) without any apology. The paint lasted 2 days before big pieces chipped off. I won't be back, and you can find a more relaxing nail salon. read more

Got a dip manicure, they used a nail file to get my old dip off AND to "smooth" my new dip (instead of a drill), didn't put a base coat on, the new dip already looks grown out because they didn't get the powder close to my cuticles, I asked for almond shape & left with oval & was charged $60 for a $35 job. UPDATE 1/9/23: after 1.5 weeks all of the dip was lifting or completely broke off, my nail technician at my new salon had to cut my nails completely off because she said they had ruined my nails. read more

My feet were offending me, not just the busted gel remnants on my toes from 3 months ago, but the dead crusty skin on my heels and toes when they were touching each other. Decided to try this place out because of all the stellar reviews they have and I wasn't disappointed. They were able to fit me in on the same day. I went for a spa pedicure with gel polish. The staff all wore masks and practiced social distancing. There are dividers between the technicians and customers. Everyone was asked to use hand sanitizer when they first came in. None of the technicians was talking much so just a heads up if you prefer chatty mani/pedi sessions. Their price is a tad bit higher but considering their location in DTC and how awesome my pedi turned out, it's reasonable. One thing left to make it a perfect nails spa for me is if they were playing some relaxing tunes or even kpop/korean coffee shop music, considering they're Korean-owned. All in all, my feet are soft like a baby's bottom and my toes got painted perfectly, so I'm a happy camper! Will definitely return! :D read more

After being turned away from another salon which messed up my appointment, I was able to come into Pearl Nail Bar and I was so happy I did! I called and they were able to get me in for a Gel-X manicure right away and it was the best one I have ever had. My nail tech (I believe her name was Lee) was so kind and listened to what I wanted, verifying the length, shape, etc was to my liking. Then she made some suggestions on color to get me the best result. I walked in feeling defeated and walked out feeling so thankful and loving my new manicure! I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and it's always been packed. I had the day off during the week, so I decided it was a good opportunity to swing in! Service is okay and nothing bad happened, however I got serious sticker shock at the end. Got a regular pedicure with a gel manicure and it cost $160! I came here to get my nails done for my wedding - manicure and pedicure. The lady who did my nails was not friendly and would not talk to me other than to tell me I had to pay before my fingernails were done. I asked her to NOT cut the sides of my big toes as I get ingrown nails. She immediately went and cut the sides off. On my fingernails, she started using clippers and cut so low that my fingers hurt for a week after and I couldn't use them at all due to the pain from how low she cut them. Upon walking out, I was looking at them and noticed my thumb was starting to bubble up even though I had not touched it on anything. So $75 later, I was in a good amount of pain from fingernails to toenails and wouldn't be able to get pictures of my nails for the wedding. I'm sure if I got a different nail technician, it would be a different story. But one of them (didn't get her name as she didn't say who she was) has a vengeance out to destroy all nails she comes into contact with. read more

Schedule an appointment in advance because these ladies are booked(for obvious reasons). I initially scheduled my appointment for SNS (not being knowledgable about what I actually wanted), but when I came in for the appointment found that I actually wanted PolyGel nails so that I could extend them without having to use plastic extensions. PolyGel takes longer than SNS, but Susie (the owner) was great about ensuring I got the nails I wanted even though she was running low on time due to following appointments. It's so amazing to see how the Polygel forms and goes from lumpy to smooth and natural looking. I left with stunning and sturdy nails. This will definitely be my go-to nail bar! read more

I've been coming here for a few months for gel manis & regular pedis, given it's one of the few - if only - nail salons that requires all employees & customers to wear masks, given my dad died of COVID in October 2021, so I need to stay safe. I've been very pleased with my manis/pedis with Joy, and recently I had a spa pedicure & callus treatment with JA, who was fantastic. Sophie removed my dip manicure - that I had put on in Washington, DC, before my move - and she did a great job with the removal, and I was glad she removed it without the dremel. Instead, she took her time with the removal process, using a two layered removal approach, as well as warmed hand mitts. Sophie did a great job with the gel manicure, however given my nails were a bit weaker due to my first time trying dip, one did break, and Kim did a great job repairing/fixing it - including adding another layer of top coat to all my nails. read more

Called late Monday afternoon for an appointment & they were able to squeeze me in with Christine, one of the owners, at 4:15. I showed up and she was waiting for me, not working on another person for another 15 minutes like many places. I have had many manicures before - regular nail polish, gel, powder color dip, and years ago tips. For the past few years I had vacillated between regular and gel manicures, but a few months ago was told I should try the color dip to keep my nails strong while i was in the midst of packing and moving. The original salon I had gone to down in Lone Tree had a girl there who did a great job and it was hard to tell I had anything but a normal nail polish manicure. I'd also gone to someone subsequently who put it on so thickly, it looked terrible. Since I was finished moving and my nails are the longest they've ever been, I thought I would go back to gel. Christine patiently & carefully removed the dip color from my nails, heating up my foil covered nails, plastic wrapped hands in warm heated mittens. It was a chilly day, so this was a nice treat. Previously other salons had soaked my nails for a short bit, then proceeded to scrape them off, leaving a bit of damage to the nail itself. But Christine's method had the color slide right off! She did a lovely job manicuring my nails with attention to my dry cuticles and shaped up my slightly overgrown nails. I decided to have her use the color dip once again, as she said the color dip was much less damaging to the nails than the gels. And since it is much stronger, I liked the idea of trying to keep what I'd grown! Christine was meticulous with each dip and seemed to do a much more thorough job than anyone had done for me previously. She has an eye for details and a great manicure. Christine was very personable and fun to talk with. The spa was very clean, inviting and soothing. Not overrun with tons of people & staff talking in foreign languages the guests can"t understand. Nice background music. They have a frequent user card too. Christine & her sister Susie own this place and seemed to be on the right track. It is a hidden gem. Did I mention covered parking in case of inclement weather? BONUS! I'd post a photo is I could figure out how! My nails look amazing thanks to Christine. I highly recommend Pearl Nails! read more
