I have been trying to fins a new nail salon that is close to me and have tried several that just are not good. This place though!!! OMG, Bi was my nail tech and let me tell you! He is amazing and did an amazing job on my nails! I wish I knew her name because another lady was as well that did my snowflake pattern on my nails. Bi was gentle with my nails and did an amazing Christmas themed French tip. This salon is smaller but it's clean and the techs here all seemed super nice. I felt so bad getting there so late and making them stay but I couldn't take the nails my previous person from another salon. They didn't complain once and I did tip him good for doing an amazing job and for me making them stay! Jenny just truly performed nail magic. I went to another place first this morning and they completely ruined my nails. Jenny truly saved the day. I made an appointment with her from the other salons parking lot as a recommendation from a friend and was NOT disappointed. Jenny took the time to listen to what I wanted, devised a plan to fix my nails with tips and gel x builder to give me back length and took her time making sure they were even and right. I had a broken nail and needed a repair. My nail place was closed. So I went to Lavogue. I ended up with a new full set, at much more than I had planned to spend. I did need a rebase, so I decided that I might as well get one. Then the tech, Trudy, began taking off my nails! She said that I needed a new full set, at $20 more than the rebase. She did a wonderful job, actually, and my nails look great. But she should have asked before taking off my nails. One thumb did need to be redone, but I had had two nails redone during my last rebase. It was the same price for 8 nails as it was for 10. The four stars are for the great job that she did. I had forgotten why I stopped coming here for mani-pedis. They are relentless upsellers. I was wearing a mask, and another employee immediately tried to sell me microblading for my eyebrows, at $350. My eyebrows are already tattooed. I barely escaped 20 minutes later, after laughing at $350 for a touch-up. If my nails hadn't turned out so well, I would have given three stars for the annoying upselling. I was shown pix on the eyebrow lady's phone, and she does do a great job. But $350 for a touch-up? That's ridiculous. It's a nice, clean space, with high ceilings. The chairs are comfortable. Trudy didn't use cuticle oil, which surprised me. They have a large polish selection, although I brought my own. They offer several pedicures, starting at $30 and going up. I have no doubt that they push the more expensive pedicures. If you do go here, be prepared to either spend more than you planned, or resist the inevitable upselling. The eyebrow lady pounced on me as I was paying for my nails. read more

I set up an appointment to have my nails done . The process was easy and they were great when I called in to reschedule . However, when I arrived and asked for the mani/pedi the older woman whose name I did not get looked at me and asked if I was sure because it was around $100 dollars . This made me feel super uncomfortable as if she was implying that I couldn't afford to be there. I was a bit embarrassed and it just put a bad taste in my mouth as I was rather offended by that . However I hoped I would find something redeeming in the treatment itself . It was fine , however my nails polish chipped within a day and by day three they needed a do over . I've never cried after leaving a nail salon until I came here today. I feel like I was completely ripped off and my nails would look better if I had just bought some press ons. They're so thick they look ridiculous and my toe is still burning from the cut on my cuticle. Is it not customary to use cuticle remover before cutting? I asked for pink white ombré nails and was upsold on tips and the person who did them didn't listen and then they had to be painted over and now they are 1/8 of an inch thick. I'm not picky at all and I am just so disappointed that this was my first salon experience in a long time and now I remember why I don't waste my money. read more

One of the worst pedicures and dip manicures I've ever gotten in my life. Pedi lasted maybe 6-7 minutes, no soak, no cuticle push, no clipping when I asked for it, no buffing, a file that did nothing, and a 2 second massage. Polish chipped off next day. I have been going to this place on and off for years. I just started going back recently, in January. I will say that this salon never wants to turn anyone away, so it's a lot of "pick your color" and sit with your feet in the water until they actually have a staff member available to get to you. They are almost always busy. I don't go for pedicures, so this doesn't bother me that much. However, I did make an appointment on a Saturday for three people and they stopped taking clients in advance to make sure they had technicians available for me and my friends when I got there. That's how an appointment is supposed to work - you would be amazed how many places screw this up. Cindy does great nails. I had been previously going to a different salon, much closer to my house, and their acrylics were just not as good. They broke much easier and the polish did not last as long as with La Vogue. I go out of my way now to get my rebases done here. She does a great job with waxing as well. read more

I have to finally write a review about Lavogue! I LOVE them! I found them when they first opened up and I have since moved to Long Beach, CA but everytime I'm in Denver I stop by for my favorite nail tech Hannah! She's the best...fast and accurate!! She has given me the BEST Pink and White I ever had! Everyone is very friendly and just this morning I called to get an appointment before I head back to LBC and Dana recognized my number/voice!! Now I feel totally special! I am totally picky when it comes to my nails and if they didn't do a great job, trust me I would not recommend them! I've searched high and low in LA and LBC for anyone to come close to Hannah's artisitic nails....and I haven't found anyone yet!! I wish I could fly her out to LA everyother month I would!! Owner Cindy is unethical and rude. She would not honor a $50 gift certificate that expired 1 month ago even though Colorado law states that gift certificates must be honored for 5 years. When I explained the law to her she then said that she did not recognize the signature on the certificate. This is flat out stealing because someone paid $50 that she gets to keep. There are way too many nail salons around - no need to patronize a business that has no ethics! read more

One of the worst experiences ever. Walked in since it was close to my house, based on reviews I had read I figured it would be good. They seemed very short staffed. My mani/pedi were not very good. The main girl was wearing a dress that most would wear clubbing and was talking to the owner or somebody the whole time. I told them I wanted a mani/ pedi and once she did my mani she told me how much it would be and had totally forgotten about my pedi. I am all about professionalism and they were not at all. This place is horrible! Not only did I sit in the pedi chair for 20 minutes letting my feet turn into prunes, but it was the worst pedi of my life!! They were busy, so she rushed through my pedi, which took her all of 8 minutes to finish. She kept nagging me about putting shellac on my toes, which I didn't want. The manicure was a joke. Again, she rushed through, literally DID NOT file my nails, didn't bother to finish removing the existing Shellac on my nail and painted on a crappy, uneven new layer of Shellac. Not sure what is in their Shellac polish, but the color completely faded out of the polish within a week. It looks like flesh colored goo on my nails. To top it off, it was $63. This place is WAY over priced for HORRIBLE service!! read more

I called and made an appointment for 2 pedis and a gel manicure. We arrived on time and they took my friend immediately but made me wait until 2:20. I told them I didn't have time to do it since they were taking me late and one of the ladies came over and started on my feet. I asked for the deluxe pedi. She did not file my toe nails or cut the cuticles well enough. She did not work on my calluses adequately either. It was suppose to be a 50min pedi at least, all I got was half hour. Not going back.
