I thought we had a good working relationship until one day she called me out of the blue and berated me at my job regarding my taxes. She claimed that I was rushing her to complete my taxes. I never rushed her. All I did was send her a message asking if she needed anymore information from me to complete my taxes. Before that I hadn't reached out in weeks. I wasn't in a rush at all. I always received a refund on my taxes so why would I rush her? It was my first week at my new job and she was loud and abusive on the phone. It was during my lunch hour and my manager was sitting at the lunch counter near me. She should have gotten cussed out but I was trying to be professional at my new job. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. What a horrible evil attitude. What is going on in her life to be so lowly, crude, and mean? It's already hard enough for women in the medical field. And for me on that day she made it worse. I'm sure she has received this feedback before in her life and I'm certain she's aware that she has a problem. If I could give 0 stars I would. I drove from Calabasas to Long Beach because I heard such great things about Traci. My friends loved her. They also both have very easy straight forward taxes. I, on the other hand, own my own business. My taxes are a little more complicated. When I first contacted Traci, I let her know that this was the first time filing this way so I would like to come into her office so that I am clear on everything she would be doing. To say this experience was a disaster would be putting things lightly. I filed my taxes with Traci on July 8th. I ended up owing a little over 9k. I was checking the IRS website and it never showed my taxes being filed. I contacted Traci and she didn't know why it hadn't showed filed either. She told me to contact the IRS. August 15th I get a notice in the mail from the IRS regarding my healthcare. I needed to provide a form to them. I got the form from my healthcare provider and sent it to Traci. On August 17th Traci sent me a blank email with the form attached. Then calls me to tell me that I owe an additional almost 2k to the IRS. I was clearly upset because I felt like this was a mistake that could have been avoided. I voiced my frustration with Traci and her response was "how did I know what type of insurance you have." Well given the fact that I told you this was my first time filing like this, you would think that you would ASK. Like I said 100 times before, I HAVE NEVER FILED LIKE THIS BEFORE. We get off the phone, what can be done now? Nothing. I told myself I would just go somewhere else for my taxes next year. Lesson learned. Now, I have been making payments every month to the IRS. I went to the IRS website again today to see if my taxes show up. STILL NOTHING. I call the IRS and they tell me that my return was file September 25th, 7 days ago electronically. No wonder it hasn't showed up, it was never filed. So I contact Traci and she tells me, "I sent you the form for you to file it. I only filed it the first time." YOU SENT ME A BLANK EMAIL. How was I supposed to know that you weren't filing it?? I just paid you almost $500. I expected you to refile. I don't even know how my taxes were filed electronically since she didn't file them. I have to call the IRS again tomorrow.. how fun! All in all, I know Traci will come on here and try to defend her actions. I would expect nothing less. She will try to turn it around on me just like she did to the other two bad reviews left. I just want to say, thank you Traci. Thank you for making filing my taxes a NIGHTMARE for the first time in my life. UPDATE: In response to Traci's response, How convenient that you say I forgot my tax documents when I came in with everything I needed. Had you done your job efficiently you would've asked me for that form, in which time I would've told you that I didn't know what the form was nor why I needed it. I brought you my healthcare forms. This was a specific form for Covered California. Thanks for the oversight.. And when I asked you for the last form today so that I can file my own taxes, this was your response (photo attached) "WOW I JUST SAW THAT REVIEW ABOUT ME AND NOW IM NOT DOING NOTHING ELSE FOR YOU. FIGURE IT OUT!" Thanks for the customer service and for not filing my taxes. Had I known that you were a scammer who just accepts payment and never actually gets the job done, I would've gone elsewhere to begin with. I'll now be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

This tax place was recommended to me so I drove from Huntington Beach to long beach to do my taxes. The receptionist was friendly. Then I was met by Traci, the main tax lady who was nice, however It was a rushed session and when done she said were family now and hugged me. Well after weeks of not getting my refund I made a few phone calls to her and sent an email and got no response. until she finally answered and told me she's out of town and won't be able to do anything! But she called me later that night and told me I'm not getting my refund and when I proceed to ask her if she can tell me more. She interrupted me and said "call the IRS" and hung up on me! I emailed her back to give me copies of my file and I never heard back! Its so unfortunate to say but I do not recommend this person to do your taxes! read more
