The communication prior to the appointment was great. Scheduling was quick, easy, and professional. Unfortunately, the quality of the cleaning service did not meet the expectations set by the term "deep cleaning."
I was working while the team was cleaning, so I did not have the opportunity to inspect everything immediately. After I finished work and completed a full walkthrough, I noticed several areas that had been missed. Some examples include:
* Stains on the bathroom floors that could have easily been removed
* Dust remaining on mirrors, floors, bathroom light fixtures, and ceiling fans
* Food particles underneath the air fryer and toaster oven, which appeared to indicate those items were only wiped around rather than moved and cleaned underneath
* Kitchen backsplash areas that still had visible splashes and residue
* Dirt and debris remaining in corners throughout the kitchen and other areas of the home
* Fingerprints and stains still visible on the refrigerator, including the sides, handles, and water/ice dispenser area
* Cabinets that were not wiped down, with visible stains especially on the lower cabinets
I also noticed that my hallway floor still had a significant amount of dirt left behind, requiring me to sweep it myself after the cleaning was completed.
I contacted the manager regarding these concerns, and I appreciate that she responded and sent the team back the following day to address the issues. However, I was on a work conference call that morning and did not feel it was appropriate to step away and supervise or point out every missed area. After completing another detailed walkthrough later that day, I realized many areas were still only surface cleaned rather than deeply cleaned.
The master bathroom was the one area that appeared to have been cleaned well, and the living room and kitchen blinds were also cleaned nicely. However, there were still noticeable issues, such as visible dust and cobwebs near one of the windows that remained untouched.
I was also disappointed that items in my master bedroom were rearranged. I never requested anything in my bedroom besides cleaning the two windows, the floor, and the master bathroom. Moving personal items on top of my dressers without being asked was unnecessary.
The other bathrooms also had several missed areas. Soap residue remained on shower walls, one sink was still dirty, and one bathroom floor had an odor that smelled like mop water. Although my guest bathroom is rarely used and did not require much cleaning, I still expected basic attention to areas such as removing soap stains from the shower walls.
The kitchen was another major concern. When I opened my oven, I noticed it had not been cleaned at all. The container I had set out to clean the oven myself was still sitting there. Food particles remained on the bottom of the stove, including pumpkin residue. The backsplash behind the stove, air fryer area, and refrigerator surfaces were still not properly cleaned.
My standalone water dispenser was not wiped down, several cabinet stains remained, and multiple corners of the floor were still dirty.
I was also concerned with how items were handled. Instead of asking where things belonged, items were moved and placed inside cabinets to create a cleaner-looking countertop. Food jars that had just been purchased that morning were placed inside cabinets, and items such as open straws and air fresheners were moved without consideration. Cleaning products and dish soap were placed underneath the sink instead of being left where they were or organized with my other cleaning supplies in the pantry. I also noticed that my three kitchen hand towels were missing afterward.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed with this experience and feel that the service did not justify the cost. In my opinion, this was not a deep cleaning. There was still visible dust, dirt, and buildup throughout the home.
I do appreciate the manager's communication and her willingness to send the team back to address the initial concerns. However, as a professional service provider, I would have expected a final quality check to be completed before considering the job finished.
I do not feel the need to request a third visit for work that should have been completed correctly the first time. Although I initially did not want to leave a negative review, I believe it is important to share my honest experience since this platform requested feedback.
Hopefully, this review encourages improvements and helps provide future customers with a better experience. Based on my overall experience, I would not use this company again, nor would I recommend their cleaning services.
