A great establishment for theater costumes and accessories. Great for Halloween costumes, harvest festivals, themed parties or just a Friday night. Rows and rows 3 racks high floor to ceiling. It's a bit overwhelming at first but everything is well organized and sorted. You may need to sift through to find the right size. The sections are clearly marked. Dressing rooms and accessories, wigs are at the front. Always wonderful welcoming service. Have rented costumes here over the years always a great experience. Throughout the year they're only open on Saturdays. Call for hours during weeks leading up to Halloween as they have different set times for pick up. Reserve prior to the date you're needing the costume, they'll have it cleaned and ready for pick up upon set arrival date. Alterations available. A community staple and hidden gem. read more

This place is great. If you have a child who is into acting or creating their own plays, this is the place. The staff is warm and friendly. You will have to commit for about 3-4 months with 1-2 rehearsals a week for 2hrs. Then at the end your child will put on a show for five days. I really like the professionalism of this company. The kids get to audition for different roles. And if your child is still a little shy, no worries, they can still participate in the show as an extra. read more

Came in last Saturday with a couple of friends to rent costumes. Was denied service. Staff said we needed to make appointment because of Covid. Remind you, there was no one in store and it does not state nowhere on their website or on their business to make an appointment. I guess we weren't their cup of tea!!! This shop is wonderful! And a bit overwhelming. It's like taking a warehouse, and filling it with triple stacked closet rods filled with individual costume pieces to start assembling one of a kind masterpieces. Everything I needed was at hand, all it took was some time to pick out the exact items (thank goodness they have dressing rooms) to mix and match with. As well as rentals, there are also some sales, but the focus is on the rentals, with the sale items more of an accessory role to the main costume - wigs, swords/staffs/etc, fake teeth, and other similar items. I came here for two costume rentals this year, back to back weekends. The first one, I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to be. They had a print out of costume ideas, enough to get the gears in my head started, and I wandered around the aisles getting a feel for things. With some staff help, I eventually put together a Musketeer costume (complete with a purchased rapier) and had some fun for that weekend's party. The following weekend, Halloween itself, I came in knowing what I wanted to be - a voodoo witch doctor. Armed with a few "general idea" pictures on my cell phone, the staff shot off in different directions at once - one went and found some jackets that would fit the theme, while another took me to pick out vests. It turned out top notch! The two costumes cost me under $150 total, but a large chunk of that was the purchased hat for my second costume. And honestly, it's the staff that did it. Every person in the store was not just friendly, but happy. Instantly apparent is their love of putting things together to make a successful costume. They will bounce ideas off of each other, excitedly compliment a good choice by a customer or other staff member, and freely join in and offer suggestions to make everything work perfectly. The three that helped me the most were Darya, KC, and Danielle ... I owe two very successful costumes, and all the fun that comes with that, to these girls! I don't know how to do it but I am able to browse and just when I need help is when one of the employees would come up and help me complete my transaction. Since halloween is coming i decided to drop by after working out and i was surprised how much selections they have here. They TONS of costumes for rent and some for sale. I think renting is good one you don't have to pay too much it starts around 20 and it can go to maybe 60 or whatever cause i only remembered 20. And its good because you won't have to deal on putting it in your closet and you can get an elaborate costume without spending too much! So what did i get? Black and white face paint 3 for the white and 5 bucks for black. Cause i don't even know what to wear for halloween but those face paint will come in handy. I might go back to pick up some costume instead. read more

This costume rental company is as good as it gets! I've been using them for 5 years. I've rented a few items and then also costumed whole shows from their racks. If doing a whole show, they assign you a designer and their choices are phenomenal. They let you shop the racks or put the looks together for you. They are friendly, efficient, easy to work with and they taylor the costumes to fit. I'm shocked anyone left a bad review. Perhaps they didn't call ahead. They costume a lot of shows so are sometimes very busy with deadlines. I've NEVER had a problem getting help. t travel 60 miles to use them and it is worth it. Disappointed with this company. Rented a 20's era suit for a wedding. Was promised that they would sew suspender buttons on the rear of the pants. Needless to say no buttons were sewn. My pant kept falling down because I couldn't wear the suspenders. No belt loops and the tabs on the waist were ineffective in tightening the waist. The rented hat was unusable and mis-shapened. The spats would not stay on. I won't return because the customer service was uncaring. There was no apology or compensation. read more

So I have used The Theatre Company indirectly through productions, most recently being Shrek. Might I say, these guys are AMAZING! Their area is ridiculously well organized inside and out, and the costumes are spectacular! Full vinyl dresses, unitards, donkey suits, even a giant egg. They are amazing! Their work is professional and well done. I believe we are the first to use the Shrek costumes, and they are outstanding! No oopsies or bad seams with new costumes, and they are amazingly detailed. Down to the spider on the witch had, pearls on Mama Bear, and little legs on Farquaad, The Theatre Company gets an A+++ from me! read more

I am a professional costume designer and came here to rent several costumes for a show, I was treated very rudely as soon as I walked in. The employees all gave me different answers to my questions about rental policies and seemed very confused and annoyed that I wanted to know the price for my rental before I rent it.... No one seemed to really be able to help me and made me feel like I was an annoyance for them. Terrible customer service and I felt very disrespected.
