I think it's clear that since they have the business of the Miss America pagents, etc. They don't really care what you think. A vendor I had used previously recommended The Sash Company for Bridal Sashes. I went to the website and the price was spectacular so I immediately placed an order. Almost 2 weeks went by (the window I was supposed to receive it was from the 16th - 21st. Today is the 18th. I sent an email yesterday to the email that was included at the bottom of the shopify invoice and heard nothing back. Today, I called the number on the website. The woman who answered honestly seemed like she never heard that they even did Bridal Sashes. She didn't have my email or contact information in and no email to me. I mentioned the email I sent it to and she said "oh well that's why no one checks that email".... Ok so why is it active? Then I mentioned I purchased on shopify and she said "oh that's why no one checks that" WHAT? How are you selling items on Shopify and not checking it? After a hold, she came on an offered a refund. As my friend is excited for this sash, I asked if there was a replacement or anything and that's when she said that they are out of stock on every single bridal sash. When I asked why they are still selling them / the listings are still active, she said she would email and immediately cancel when anyone buys. When I told her that it didn't happen to me, she said "well someone else should've done it but we're busy ok?". I asked to speak to someone else and she refused saying she doesn't have a boss and no one is over her. Honestly 0/10 experience would never recommend and would highly recommend the mega organizations that are using this company to look elsewhere. Right now - I haven't received a cancellation/refund. I just called right now the lady who picked up has so much attitude and is rude when I asked questions I just hung up because I cannot stand her attitude. They said they couldn't help me and the selection is small. Learn how to speak to your customers. Not going to ask them to make me a sash , stupid. I'm really disappointed. read more

I would like to start by saying that the employees of Sash Co are wonderful! From on the phone to the front desk, I enjoyed friendly people and excellent service. Charlie, the manager, was very prompt in email communication. He made ordering a piece of cake! As for our school club graduation stoles, they are wonderfully made and perfect to our design. With the trouble I encountered on my clubs end, Sash Co was very accommodating in ordering extra graduation stoles. I have only pleasant things to say if this review doesn't cover it all! I ordered two graduation sashes and paid a rush fee for these to be delivered by our graduation date. The employees I spoke with were all very kind and accommodating, which was great! Our sashes were supposed to have a maroon/burgundy trim but upon arrival, the trim was actually RED. Very bright red. I emailed the Sash Company a photo of our sashes with the red trim and asked if this was their "burgundy" or if this was an error. The employee confirmed that this was not right and a red trim was used in error. I was told they could create the correct versions and send them to us. That was the last I heard from the company and we ended up just having to use the sashes that had the wrong color. Overall, the staff is super friendly and service appeared great. I have never been more disappointed with a company. We have worked with this company for years and have always had great success until this most recent order. They claim to be all about providing the best customer service, but I would very much disagree. All I got was being HUNG UP ON, IGNORED, and LEFT LOOKING FOR ANSWERS. I added the rush shipping fees to my order on 7/8 to ensure my sash was here on time for a huge event this past weekend. When I placed the order I said the event was 7/22, when in reality the event was 7/26 just to be safe. The week of the event when I communicated with Amy on Wednesday 7/24 asking a status on my sash as it was already late after her saying she needed to check her warehouse for it and leaving me hanging for 2 hours all she told me she was she was going to overnight the sash to ensure I would have it in time, three separate times on the call. Come Friday when I still didn't have the sash, she admitted that she didn't ship it overnight and only sent it by regular mail and admitted she lied, she spoke in a rude demeanor, and said that she could only refund the rush fee, and that we needed to talk to the owner Angelique about a full refund. The event came and I was left embarrassed with no sash. On Monday, a co-board member sent an email to Angelique, and I called a few times. With it being over a week since our initial conversation we are left with no response to the email, no call back, being hung up on, and no refund. Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere if you want to work with a quality business. In the past, I came here to have insignia embroidered on a very special sash. I dealt with someone who was extremely professional and nice. Even though what I asked for was not traditional, he accommodated me and got my order taken care of in a timely manner, and was so welcoming. I have since returned two times since and I've had no issue. I recently called and spoke with someone someone who would I would consider what I call a "NO" person. Things have changed with the business ever since then and I respect that there are new employees, a new system, and different rules. However, it is disheartening when someone is so quick to say that they cannot do what they did in the past without first checking with their boss or authority. I cannot stand negativity and I do not like negative attitudes. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Even if my needs cannot be met, I expect a pleasant tone and positivity. If you are expecting fast service and to speak with someone who isn't ready to constantly say, "NO", go to another embroiderer. I am entirely disappointed with the attitude of the person that I spoke with on the phone. I also do not care if the business responds to me because I am taking my business somewhere else and I hope this review will serve as a lesson to make sure that your employees leave any ultimate decision(s) up to their boss without first telling the client, "No" or they don't think that things will happen, or they "highly doubt" something will be approved. What I needed my sash for was extremely important and I chose this business because I've had them work with me twice in the past and now I have wasted two days only to be speaking to a negative employee who is like a Negative Nancy. Thanks a lot for wasting my time and messing up being appropriately robed for my event which is HIGHLY IMPORTANT. read more

I ordered from The Sash Company last year for our Queen's contest and received exactly what I asked for and it was well made. I ordered again this year for the King's contest and when ordering at the site I received a message that said the order was cancelled. So, I reordered and got two of the same sashes. I didn't realize this until I received both on the same day in the mail. I called and ask if they didn't notice that both sashes were the same and the same address. The rep acknowledged there may have be a computer problem and said let me check with the manager. She came back and said, "Since it was over the 24-hour limit to cancel, they would not be able to refund me my money." I said okay that is fine, but be assured I will not do business with you again. Also, I got basically the same sash as last year and the price doubled over last year and with me having to pay twice made it even worst. Don't do business with these folks. read more

I ordered a custom sash for my graduation with rush delivery. The positives are that the sash arrived when promised and that "Class of 2016" and my Greek letters were large. I was worried about the letters being too small for the sash but was pleasantly surprised. The problem I have with the sash is the terrible embroidery. One side is uneven on the sash, and the Greek letters are so messy. They look bad. I paid a lot of money and trusted the photos I saw of graduation sashes and am disappointed by what I received. read more
