My eyebrows grow really fast, so they require that I go in every week. Every week I went into the salon, I was met with more and more anger and unkindness. It seemed like the more I went, the less the lady liked me. AND, on top of that, the more and more I went, the WORSE my eyebrows came out. She never checked for evenness and when I did point it out once, it wasn't fixed. My upper lip was also never fully threaded. She went very quickly. I always have had nice, thick brows but she made mine thinner and thinner. One time, she made my skin start bleeding because of how fast she was going and how much she was not paying attention. The only good thing about this place was the price. I paid $17 for eyebrow, lip and chin-- but it wasn't worth the bad eyebrows and mediocre threading. I now pay $26 for all three at a place in Ardmore. The time it takes for my hair to grow back now is much longer and my eyebrows have finally begun look normal again. Extremely frustrating experience with Thread Bar's Washington Square location and their handling of…read moreClassPass. I went in person to schedule a lash lift and tint and specifically told the employee I wanted to use my ClassPass credits. When I asked how to book it through ClassPass, she told me, "Don't worry about it. You don't need to book it on there since we made the appointment here." On the day of my appointment, only one hour beforehand, I received a call saying they couldn't honor it because the Washington Square location doesn't use ClassPass. Five minutes later, they called back and said they would accommodate me. I again made it very clear that I wanted to use ClassPass and was willing to go to whichever location accepted it. They specifically told me to go to Washington Square. After my service, I was then told I couldn't use ClassPass because I hadn't booked through the app--even though the same employee who performed my service was the person who originally told me I didn't need to. Their explanation was that they're "fairly new on ClassPass and still figuring it out." I understand being new to the platform, but their mistake and repeated misinformation should not cost the customer money. I paid for the service, but I won't be returning and will be reporting the experience to ClassPass. If you're going to participate in ClassPass, your staff should understand how it works and honor what customers are told.

She takes Her time and maps them out pre wax to make sure the shape is going to be both symmetrical and fit your features.
