The service was fine, but my nails were cut and trimmed with dirty tools from a dirty box and I would not return for that reason alone. The attention to detail and genuine care they put into their work stood out immediately. After years of Army service--rucking, marching, and everything in between--my nails are far from perfect, with deep curves and tough corners. Most places gloss over that, but not here. They took the time to thoroughly clean beneath and around the nails, the way it used to be done traditionally, and far better than what I've experienced in other locations outside of PA. They are doing an amazing job cleaning, sanitizing and making sure that each individual space is separated with plexi glass. It can't have been easy for a small business like them to equip themselves so quickly, but this is the best nail salon I've seen in terms of safety measures! The staff was amazing, took their time and couldn't have been friendlier. Even though my friend and I ran late for the appointment, we were greeted with smiles and received outstanding service. Seriously, they were fantastic. I picked a really light color that's tough to apply and my manicurist not only took the time to have the paint shaken up before me, but meticulously applied one coat at a time to each finger alternating hands to ensure the best result. First time here and got a spa pedicure and regular manicure yesterday. Pedicure was pretty good during treatment. My technician gave a great leg massage. Unfortunately, my polish wasn't dry even after being told it was and the second I got home my polish was damaged on my hands and toes. I was in no rush and could've waited as long as needed for them to fully dry. They also didn't nip the dead skin on my toe (sorry in advance for the photo). I didn't see it at the salon bc they covered it with oil which was super slippery in my sandals walking out. I've been using the same brand and color of polish for 10 years so I know it's not that. I was also quite careful after leaving...this isn't my first rodeo. I was also turned off with the environment-was humid and dingy-definitely not an upscale salon and their prices do not validate the service you receive. My boyfriend and I just went here. Apparently they are sexiest. When I called to say it was me and a male she was laughing on the phone. When we finished she said his would cost more because he is a male and they are more work. This is not true. My boyfriend has better feet then me if I am being honest. He doesn't even have calluses and he takes care of his nails. To show for it he was finished quicker than me and they started him 20 minutes after me. She also stated that everywhere does it. Again not true. We have been other places before and they charge us the same amount. After this I won't be back. Quite a joke to me. I also want to add that they had to put 4 coats of the paint on because of how cheap it is. It was see-through every time. Every time I've gone there for a manicure, I'm thrilled with how perfect my nails look! I'm only in KOP for work, I don't live in that area, but I keep going back there because they do a much better job than any other nail salon I've tried anywhere else (and I've tried A LOT!) They listen to what you want then take the time to do impeccable work. Today, I went there for a pedicure and opted for the callous treatment and hot stone massage. It was incredible! My pedicure is as flawless as my manicure and the massage was extremely pampering. She took her time and massaged my feet and calves for quite a while. It felt amazing! I recently got a gift card for my birthday for this establishment. And I was about 10 minutes late because it's traffic for a gel pedicure. And the woman there who didn't speak good English-made it seem like they didn't do Joe pettickers there, so I was stuck getting a regular one and she rushed through it. I was there for about a 1/2 an hour. She spent more time rubbing hot rocks. On my legs to the point where it hurt. And then didn't even spend more than 10 minutes on my actual toenails. Rush me out of there. Because she claims that someone was waiting for the next appointment. When I got there there. There was only 2 people there, including me. And she acted like she had all these people waiting. There was nobody waiting and come to find out that she made the decision for me that I wasn't getting a job pedicure because she didn't want to do one. Honestly, I had way higher expectations going into the salon and was disappointed afterwards. I got french with the dipping powder. I'm from Boston and usually have this done at home, but the techniques used were completely different. The majority of my nail looks very grainy, which I understand happens sometimes with powder, but the grain from nail to nail is drastically different, as well as the french tip sizes and boldness. At the end she had tried to "fix" a few and ended up making them look worse to be honest. I would give two stars, but the back massage was so good with the hot stone. Definitely won't be back, but it was worth a try!! (I understand french dipping powder is difficult, I just prefer the way other technicians have done it on me.) Week and a half update: The durability of my dipped powder nails is very good, so I must commend the salon for that. WOW! I discovered this salon a year ago. I don't go as often as most but when I do, I have the best experience. Their customer service is exceptional! I have gotten pedicures, manicures and gel manicures and EVERY TIME I leave I feel completely pampered. The owner recognizes and greets you from the moment you walk, even if you've only been there once. Their pedicures are amazing, they rub your legs and feet in oils and separately again with a sugar scrub, massage your feet and legs with hot stones, place hot towels (in plastic bag) on your upper back and even give you a neck and shoulder massage with hot stones when you are at the bar drying your hands/feet. Not to mention, they're regular pedicures last weeks! All this for $30!!! And like other salons, they speak another language but with them, you can tell they're not talking negatively about you. All of the nail techs are sweet and carry conversations with you. They even give you a grocery bag for your shoes if you didn't bring a purse! They are classy for sure! I had read the great reviews of this place and the included hot stone massage definitely intrigued me, so I decided to see if they had availability for a walk-in. It was a rainy Tuesday afternoon, and they were not busy and able to take me right away. I decided on a gel manicure and was very pleased with the results. The staff was courteous and professional and the hot stone massage was pretty great. It was absolutely worth the $25, and I probably would have paid more! There is ample parking nearby, they take cards but prefer you to tip in cash, so make sure you have some dollar bills on you if you go. Would definitely visit again if I am ever in KOP. read more

I went to Cuticle Corner today for my first pedicure since the COVID19 related stay at home orders began. I was very impressed with the sanitary measures taken by the business owner, Mindy. There are shields between all manicure and pedicure stations, masks were worn at all times, and enhanced sanitation products were used at the already very hygienic operation. I had to edit my original review, sadly. I've been to this location before but this time things were different. I called to make an appointment and was told to come in at 11. I came in on time and was told to pick out my color. Once I was seated for my pedicure , the older women came over and started looking over my nails(which I thought was odd bc normally that only happens if I had polish on them but I didn't). She starts to work on my hands while I'm getting my feet done. My problem came in when she stopped doing my nails before completing my french manicure . The women stated , " Can you pay now and then I will put polish on your nail" everyone in the salon started staring at me , VERY EMBARRASSING!!!!! I noticed when I was there no one else paid until their service was completed. I gave the women my debt card and she then proceeded to tell me never mind bc I needed to type in my pin and I could do that after the service. Why the hell would you press the issue to pay if it all of a sudden didn't matter?? I ended up providing my credit card bc at this point I understood what was going on. To finish it off, I asked for a French tip with a different color and I noticed there was some kind of weird brown thing stuck on my nail(small but very noticeable) the women was tending to another person that came in late for her appointment and when she finally came back to me I advised of the issue. She didn't wipe my finger off and do it over she literally put nail polish directly over top of it. I also stayed until my nails fully dried just to see if she asked ANYONE ELSE to pay before they finished their service and NOPE! I will NEVER BOOK HERE AGAIN.
