He said he wasn't interested in that and didn't have time for that. I wanted to support a local business in the Town of Wilson but I guess I won't be buying from this Town of Wilson business as he is not really interested in anything but selling units, not helping customers. During the service, they claimed my drain plugs were stripped out. Since this was the bike's first-ever oil change and it was purchased directly from them, they are the only ones who could have caused this. Despite this, they denied responsibility and charged me for the new plugs. To make matters worse, when I picked the bike up a week later, my final bill was $384. They claimed the $220 paper I signed was "just for labor" and didn't include parts, oil, or filters. The service advisor was nice, but the pricing transparency and lack of accountability are completely unacceptable. I will no longer bring my bike here for service.

Taking a cue from my friend David S. I decided to patronize Hoban's. They've been in business…read moresince 1980. My battery on my Sportster was kaput. It had stranded me for the last time. My initial communication was by e-mail. Erik was very helpful and I set up an appointment. While they were installing the battery they noticed both the nuts were missing on my rear pipe. The two that hold the pipe to the engine (I thought it didn't sound right). No biker wants to lose two nuts. They got right on it. I was so impressed with their friendly and helpful attitude, I decided to replace my very worn tires. Got a set of high end Dunlops. The ride home was a pleasure. I didn't feel I had to look for bailout spots if I blew a tire. It always amazes me how fast my bike can get to 80. I don't do that very often; but I had a new confidence in my bike. So what started out to be a new battery, the job ballooned quite a bit. The bottom line, driving a bike is always risky, so you have to get the odds in your favor. You cannot put a price on safety. Bottom line these folks were great, friendly and competent. If your Harley needs some work or parts or service it would behoove you to patronize this fine family business. Okay I have to add some more comments here. My new battery went totally dead after a week. Fewer than 1% are lemons, lucky, lucky me. I called Eric at 0900, within a half hour a trailer showed up. A very nice young man muscled my bike into it. In a short time Eric called; and I was riding by noon. Hoban's did everything right, as I expected. What was so impressive is that they got right on it. Made me feel valued as a customer. Kudos, guys!

The one thing that does stink about this place is there are toooo many reading corners. I love that in a museum but there are like four areas on the second floor all right next to eachother and this has potential for other exhibits. Although really looking forward to the water exhibit they are building! I've also seen so much progress in this place since moving here two years ago! Third floor is def where we spend most of our time. Again made for more little kids. Older kids would get bored fast!

We just wanted to play…read moreon the cool octopus playground (which is free), but when we went inside for the bathrooms they informed us it was a free play day so we went and played. This museum is 3 floors of fun & so worth a visit! They have a special toddler play area for kids under 4 on the 2nd floor also. They have a diversity of things like a (play) farmer's market, vet clinic, fire truck, climb & slide area, a beehive, sensory play and more. I highly recommend this place!
