Popped in after 8pm on a Friday. Server was super sweet and very attentive. My first time here, I saw someone ordered that bratwurst burger and it looked so good I ordered it as well. My friend decided to try the toasted ravioli pizza, which they are "famous" for. The bratwurst was tasty, but I tried the pizza and couldn't eat two bites. Thin, floppy crust, waaaay too much cheese on the pizza (really gluey), and the stuffed crust was just dry... I REALLY wanted to like this place but it did fall short. The mozz chips had no flavor, and while I heard amazing things about the chicken fried chicken (def not the kind most places have), it was extremely hard to cut, and chewy, almost as if not cooked. My husband ordered a steak medium rare but it was well, well done. The side salad was great as were the scallop potatoes. The waitress was great and extremely kind and gave us $10 off our meal. What a gem in Washington, MO! Open all day, we popped in for a late lunch at 2 PM. My mom ordered the Cuban which curiously was made with rye bread. She said it was surprisingly good and she didn't really detect much Ryebread flavor. I think that's a good thing because I would've asked for a different type of bread. Came with homemade chips and they were prepared very well. I ordered the honey habanero chicken wings and they were out of this world! Meaty and very flavorful with a kick, but not too spicy. Big windows overlooking the street with a location downtown, this is truly a delight to stop and dine at. The menu, is inventive and at least for lunch, very affordable! I got their Chicken Spin Sandwich and it was like nothing I have ever had, and their sidewinder fries were incredible. Came to Washington MO of all places to check out what was around. This place is rated as one of the best places to come, so i did. there are actually quite a lot of interesting things on the menu, but since i am still in missouri, i thought i would get something that was a little bit more local i went with the shrimp and grits with sausage, which also came with a salad. i also got toasted raviolis as an appetizer. the salad was actually much bigger than i thought, and was surprisingly good for a salad. my only issue with it is i wasn't sure why there was cheese on it the shrimp and grits were more meh. this dish was just incredibly salty, im not sure why they decided to go this way. they could probably reduce the salt content by like 50%. another thing was that the shrimp tasted surprisingly... strong. maybe it was kept a little too long? i don't think it was off, but it was definitely too strong for me. the toasted ravs were also kind of salty as well. the grits themselves though were pretty good overall, the food was just okay. for a small town like this to have a proper restaurant is a good thing, and the food was alright, but i think they should probably think a little harder about the salt content read more

This place is nice ! Clean nice employees.. The food we received on June 17 was absolutely awful... they did remove my food from the table and from the bill. My husband ate his, the same as mine...Smoked salmon BLT . Now I must say he has been sick 1 hour after eating it. He is still not feeling well. ( June 18 ) The salmon was huge chucks and cold. Like really wet fish. I could not even come close to eating it..fish is one food u should never in chucks of cold wet fish. The word "Smoked" was not even close to being smoked. Made a reservation the beginning of September for our group Christmas Party for 14 people. Went in person and talk to them and asked for the side room. Had a nice discussion about the table arrangement. The reservation was made for Dec. 13 at 7:00pm. I called Tuesday the 9th and the reservation was confirmed . I called again on the morning of the 13th and was told they could no longer keep the reservation because the owner had booked another party. I was then told our group of 14 would not generate enough money for the room and another party was booked by the owner. Our group was devastated at this last minute denial. My husband and I decided on a T-Rav Pizza. The pizza is oh-so-good! The crust is super thin with a 4-cheese blend (yum!) - topped with pepperoni and sausage. Then the edge of the crust is stuffed with toasted ravioli filling -- a generous amount -- and served with a side of marinara. It's a large pizza. I just had the most delicious shrimp and grits dish. The flavors within the dish were amazing! A mix of shrimp, sausage, cajun seasonings, and whatever else they did to the grits was the bomb. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo. The service was great. The young man, Ryan J, was polite and professional. He recommended the dish, and he did not fail. It was as delicious and comforting as he described. It is officially on my favorite dish list. Next time we visit our family, I'll make sure to order it again.
