Good customer service. Place is neat and tidy. Today when I went for renewal on a Saturday afternoon, I was expecting a huge crowd but the place was practically empty so was in and out in less than 30 minutes. They have ample parking spots too. Fair warning: The place does get super crowded sometimes on a weekday morning/afternoon. So be prepared to wait for upto 1 hour.

I…read morefigure i am going to be near Binghamton, so why not make an appointment to the local DMV near Binghamton University? I called a month ahead and secured a date 8/25 @ 2:30pm. I arrived at 2:20pm, got on line and within 10 minutes i was in the building and my daughter was taking her the test for the license permit, so happy, truly effortless and it all took 30 minutes to get done. Keep in mind, if you take a test, only the person taking the test will go in, for minors have one parent with available to sign paperwork and meet requirements.

They asked what I was there for- mine was out of state transfer of license and registration, which I thought would take several hours. They gave me the forms. They quickly called me up, helped fill out my forms. There was a lot of documents I needed to have - which I did, and in less than an hour, I was out of there , with my temporary license, new plates and registration - thank you to Patti and the other people who were great.

Cue me scrambling to get in touch with the dealer, waiting even longer, and wasting my entire afternoon. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. Competitors handled my truck title in just 15 minutes, no fuss. Meanwhile, here at NE Title and Tag, I was stuck for almost two hours. Fast forward three months: They had the nerve to call and say I "forgot" to pay a fee--which, surprise, they forgot to charge me for--resulting in my registration being rejected by the state. After a heated back-and-forth with multiple people, they *finally* agreed to cover the fee and process what they had promised from the start. Now, I'm still anxiously waiting for my registration to show up. It's honestly scary that a place this disorganized is licensed to handle such important paperwork.
