I can never remember the hours and Al has stayed an hour or so late multiple times helping me out as well as the owner Alan. When I said I was paying with my card, the person working there looked at me like I was stupid and went on a weird hypothetical rant about how he'd lose money if he accepted card payments. He even asked what I'd do if all systems shut down and we couldn't rely on technology which was completely unnecessary and made no sense whatsoever. He then asked me and the people I was with if none of us had three dollars in cash, which was honestly something I've never experienced at any business before. If there's a card minimum, just say so or put up a sign. It really isn't that hard. The whole interaction was uncomfortable and off-putting. On top of that, we overheard him loudly giving a random kid what sounded like awful work advice basically encouraging him to expect being yelled at on the job. The conversation was so loud we could hear it throughout the store. Not appropriate, and not something customers should have to listen to. So ya, put up a sign.

I mentioned wanting to replace a lost thumb ring and she showed me a selection of rings by Pura Vida, a brand I've heard a lot about, and I actually found a cool silver band with "Salty" inscribed, which made me laugh. Also bought a super sweet ring and some incense matches for my friend. Really lovely experience for the both of us. Definitely recommend.

Prices are competitive but typically higher than online, but you get your product right away and you get staff to help you if you're not sure what to buy. Parking in the gravel lot is limited. On organized play nights it's usually full, but there is ample street parking on Seney Dr a short walk away.

I stop by to pick up some of these collage cards. They always are thought-provoking whimsical, and slopping over with charms . Plus, you're brightening somebody's day with this... And I believe it has artistic merit and you're sending a smile through the mail. A friend of mine gets cancer so often... And I try to distract her with cheerful things. Collage cards make me smile. There's a big chalkboard behind with some great outlook on life quote. ;) I just adore the store and I wish I lived in the area again... but I definitely get to visit the area bunch and I'm thrilled to stop in. He has everything from beginner stuff all the way to the the expert stuff. He has a large inventory that will fit just about any price range. Don't hesitate to stop at his shop. He has a great store it reminds me of old Washington when the storekeepers actually cared about customers.
