Sadly, these guys are about an hour and a half from our home, so we don't make it in regularly. They are located in a strip mall with very, very limited parking and it's a tight fit if you have a larger vehicle. But the store itself is spacious with good sized aisles and tall shelves. This is a great toy store! They have so many great items, ranging from Star Wars figures, Transformers, NECA, POP figures, G.I. Joe, wrestling figures, and then also high end stuff that you can usually only find online like Sideshow 12 inch figures, Vitruvian Hacks and even Haslab items. We never leave there emptyhanded. The staff are always helpful and friendly too. If they weren't so far away we would frequent them a few times a month!! read more

They have a very large selection of toys, whether vintage, Hot Toys, Lego, or S.h.Figuarts. They were all extremely friendly and understanding. I bought a Joytoy warhammer 40k figure for $28, and I was able to sell it for $25. Me and my dad go there pretty often and always find something new to look at. read more

I made a mistake and accidentally bought something I already had. I brought the item back the next morning. They would not return it. I get it no returns all sales are final. But sometimes you step up for a customer that shops your store on a regular basis. I use to visit the store at least once a week and typically have no issues. They offered to buy the item back. I could not lose that much money in less than twelve hours the stock market is less risky. So make sure you don't accidentally buy something you already have. They will not help you out! What ever happened to store loyalty? People complain about customer loyalty. It's a two way street. read more

Quite simply the largest single toy store I've ever been to, and the best selection of new and vintage Transformers I've ever seen outside of a toy show. They had a massive selection of boxed/carded Transformers from a variety of eras, multiple display cases of vintage stuff, and even a couple test shots/rarities up front. They also have incredible amounts of other types of toys - nearly any kind you can think of. This store is about six hours from where I live, but I will certainly be back. I'm only giving 2 stars because of the organization and large variety. However, The cashier was so rude. We asked if they negotiate prices because it was a $500+ item. It's a buy-sell-trade place so I don't think it was unreasonable to ask. We have chosen to pass on the Razorcrest and the Taylor Swift Barbie, and will be paying someone else more, rather than be talked to that way. You just lost a $700+ tax sale. The "manager" is the employees father. That was rude to us. So since our bad review we have been flocked by vultures. We asked one question..one time and never threatened anyone at any point. They have shown their true colors all in the review comments. This employee clearly gets his attitude from his father. read more

Hey, The Toy Department! How about franchising, and opening up a place in Los Angeles. Surprisingly, we don't have anything like your store here. With that said...OMG...this place is my Disney World. I took a trip to Ohio a couple weeks ago to see a college friend and I knew about this place through Instagram. It was definitely a bucket list spot...so I made it a point to give myself an entire afternoon in this place. But with zero money and zero plastic because I didn't have the luggage space! Haha. If you're an 80s/90s kid, love action figures, toys, pop-culture then stop by this place. It's not just a collectibles store..IT'S A MUSEUM!!! You can literally spend hours here. Go! I visited this store for the first time this past weekend. The store itself is really cool and very unique for the area. Their stuff seemed to be really high quality. So as a buyer/collector... I'd definitely recommend checking it out. My review/warning is specific to any potential sellers... I would highly suggest that you do your research before looking to sell any vintage toys to this place. I recently brought in a collection of over 150 vintage Masters of the Universe He-Man toys from my childhood. They sorted through it quickly and basically told me that everything that I had was fairly common and due to condition, was not worth much. They offered $300 for the full lot. To be fair, they did ask if I wanted to counter but at that point, I had no idea what the collection was truly worth (that was my main reason for coming to this place). Later that same day, I joined some MOTU Facebook groups and posted my collection for feedback. My phone nearly exploded for the next 2-3 days straight. Many said it was one of the best collections they had ever seen. It turns out that I had some very rare figures that were worth over $150 each and some He-Man merchandise that even the experts within the group had never seen before. After some help from the group, I was able to determine that the full lot was worth well over $3,000 (10x the quote that the Toy Department provided). Obviously, they are a business and I'd expect them to need to make money, but the value that they placed on my collection has led me to simply not trust this place at all. Many of the items that they said were "worthless" turned out to be extremely valuable. I'm now in the process of accepting an offer for my collection at around $1500, which still leaves a healthy margin for the buyer, who is also a re-seller. Maybe I was foolish to go into this place looking for an honest opinion before doing my own research but it seems they were just looking to take advantage of me here. I'm glad that I walked away. I have a lot of other (non-MOTU) vintage toys that I'm looking to get rid of but I certainly won't be going back to this place for any help/quotes. Lesson learned. read more

Amazing store if you are looking for just about anything toy related. I live in Southern California and have made it out to the store half a dozen times because it is definitely worth the trip if you are looking for modern, vintage, rare, or common items... they have it all.
