Love antique malls like this! This place is huge and all the booths are full of different treasures. I went a couple of weeks ago and some of the booths were full out Christmas. I did not get to see the entire place as I ran out of time but I am going to go back. I still found quite a few items that I brought home. There was a very very long line of folks waiting to check out on Saturday but not to worry there were about 8 people checking everyone out and the long line moved very quickly. I am still kicking myself for not bringing home the vintage black coat that was made in the USA. Next time I go I will go on a weekday where I am sure it will be less busy. They do have a really big parking lot so there were no issues with parking. What I found in the booths price wise were reasonable. read more

I absolutely adore this place! Large, spacious and all the booths seem to have pricing and reasonable prices at that. The variety and selection is amazing; high end jewelry -vs- costume jewelry, stuffed animals -vs- taxidermy specimens, bone china -vs- red Solo cups. It's all over the map. I enjoyed shopping here so much that my girlfriend and I came back the next day because there are so many booths we couldn't see them all in one trip. Matter of fact, in the spring we are going to make a pilgrimage to the area, a 4 hour drive for me, go shopping then spend the night at a local hotel and then return the next day. This place is HUGE. Lots of creepy stuff, but also lots of cool stuff like 90s vintage clothes, vintage Tupperware and glassware (I love the peach translucent colored glassware), books, seasonal items and lots of modern items as well - it's like a thrift store mixed with nice antiques. I drove two hours to visit this place and it did not disappoint. It was very big inside and had many vendors' products to see. The oldest object I found in there was from the 1800s. This is one of the better priced antique stores I have been to. The aisles aren't organized in the best way, with many having a dead end so you have to walk around just to get to the other side. They have a cafe inside with food, but it didn't smell too appetizing but not bad either. The employees were very nice and helpful even if they needed to step out of the counter to help. If you are into antiquing and want a place with large selection, this place is a must-visit. read more

This is one of my favorite spots for a date with my husband. It is sooo fun to browse around and find little treasures. I don't think I have ever gone in and not bought something. The store itself is clean and well organized, but it's definitely a maze! You get the lay of the land after a few visits though. The prices vary greatly as they are set by individual sellers. When we were creating our itinerary for our Cincinatti trip, we decided to add a stop at the Ohio Valley Antique Mall even though its about 26 miles out of Cincinatti. My family loves to go to antique stores, and this is probably the most impressive Antique store we have ever been to. If you are serious about antiquing, be prepared to spend hours in here. We spent hours in here and only got through half of the Antique Mall. It is that huge! It is a sprawling 85,000 square feet with over 550 dealers. You can find all kinds of things in here: classic comics, antique toys, outdoor and home decor, furniture, jewelry, historical items, etc. The really expensive stuff is in glass cases which you have to ask for assistance to purchase. We got a lot of stuff while here, a Fenton vase, a Lladro figurine that i bought for my mom, two glasses that show how to make Cuban style mixed drinks, and I got a beautiful gold necklace with turquoise stone for my best friend. These were all amazing deals. Looking back there were a few items I wish I also purchased. It is just an overwhelming experience to be in this antique mall, there are just so many great things to buy here! If your worried about the need to rest, there is a rest area in the middle of the antique mall that has bathrooms. The area also sells sodas and snacks. Still, after a few hours, you may need to make your purchases and go. If you really are serious about seeing the entire mall, it may need to be a two-day trip unless you have the endurance to do it all in one day. The customer service is top notch. Even with all the buyers, the line to purchase goes very quick. Also, it should be noted, in the expensive area in the glass cases, the employees come quickly when you need them. There are buttons in the end of each aisle that let you call for assistance. I can tell you they immediately come and then hold it for you at the register. This is a fantastic antique mall that you should come see for yourself! We enjoyed every moment in here! read more

Very slow. They needed more help. If you are selling so many items and I'm sure the sellers pay you a good amount for their space you should have cashiers that can move quickly and be efficient. So many cashiers = so many per space. Not a good idea to stand and talk to a person with one item for over 5 minuets when you have a long line. Then have someone walking around telling people to move over closer to ropes so they can get through. Stop what you are doing help get the line shortened so the line is not 21 people long. No matter, lol six people left their stuff and walked out. The selections were excellent the store well thought out. Many different items and booths. The shopping carts were in plentiful amounts. They do need easier access to many of the areas, I noted people in wheel chairs being unable to go in most of the booths. Value for money about right if you are leisurely shopping. The prices on online added shipping cost about the same. Not many real bargains but half the fun is impulse buying. I will return. I recently had minor surgery and became tired quickly no places to rest but caffee and small sitting area. No wheelchairs available when I was there, but did see some while shopping (not motorized) so you may need to bring someone to push you. read more

This place is an absolute gem. It is completely massive and you can find just about anything there. They have a very large selection of records, comic books, regular books, vintage clothing, figurines, jewelry, and so much more. This is the kind of place you can spend hours in, so plan accordingly because there is so much ground to cover. Some stuff is priced very cheaply, while some stuff seems to be a bit high for what it is so look carefully through all the vendors. I visited this mall for the first time ever about a month ago and apparently didn't post a review. I went with a friend who used to live in ate and has been many times. She knew I would love it and she was right! It looks s the largest antique mall I've ever been to and the best. They had a very diverse collection of items, with many booths and nicely displayed. The pricing was reasonable as well. The place is huge and because it is so big they even have shopping carts for customers. Both my friend and I found many goodies to bring home. This place is huge!! My daughter and I spent 3.5hrs here and didn't make it to half of the booth! It was very clean and most booths are very organized. This place is quite all over the map with as many stalls and different wares. And yes. It is rather big, occupying some former retail chain space. But, I didn't necessarily have to linger in each space and many times just moved along to something more of interest in my quest to see it all in one visit. The spaces done up like home decor showrooms, in particular, I could easily bypass. Though I recall a stall rather obsessively done entirely in green! No really. It is a sight to behold! One detail I can really appreciate about this store is their hours- they seem to be open until 9pm most everyday. Other antique malls should take note. The size of this place is incredible. Its definitely the biggest antique store I've ever been to! I stop by every time im in town. You could probably find anything you could possibly want, so long as you were willing to spend some time walking around and looking for it. The prices seem fairly good, It just depends on the seller. And there is a little cafe with a seating area so you could literally spend all day there. Only thing im noticing more and more of though are booths that are not selling antiques, but rather homemade goods. Most of it fits the antique "vibe" but its something you would see at a flea market or craft show, definetly not an antique shop. Either way its a really cute place and even if you aren't into typical antiques, its still worth stopping by just to check it out. You could spend a disgusting amount of time in here. I limited myself to a few hours, but still found some cool items: brass lamps ($29 and $19, completely functional and beautiful), a floor-to-ceiling mirror and some assorted Christmas gifts. Disclaimer: if you have hoarder tendencies, bring a spot-person and instruct them to specifically forbid you from buying knick knacks. If you don't, you'll seriously risk coming home with a bunch of things you thought you needed (for instance: a collection of California Raisins figurines or a vintage TGI Friday's chalkboard, both of which I tried to defend having a real need for). Great finds, insanely low prices, and more aisles than you can conceivably comb through in one afternoon ... I'm definitely coming back to browse again soon. read more

We came from out of town to do some picking. We asked for recommendations for good antiquing and were told we HAVE to check this place out. And said it would take ALL day. After 2 hours we were over it. Disorganized aisles and no good way to navigate without missing big chunks. We came to spend some money but not as much as some were charging. I agree with another reviewer here. The owners should set and hold a standard. Broken, cracked and chipped items were marked silly prices. The smell of the cafe food was overwhelming. Hotdogs and burger smells wafting about with old basement and garage smells. Meh Check it out for yourself. Roll the dice. You may find what your lookin for. I was in the area yesterday and decided on a whim to stop in. I've driven by this place many times - always saying to myself or anyone in the car, "I need to stop in there sometime." Well, yesterday was the day I stopped in. I'm so glad I did! It's huge! So big that I think we missed a decent portion of the booths. My daughter and I are both avid thrifters and enjoyed walking the aisles and checking out all the vintage and antique items. There is so much to look at and we really enjoyed the visit. It's cool to see so many things - in one place - that I saw in my or my family members homes while I was growing up. A toy, a glass or dish or funky lamp. It brought back so many memories. We'll have to go back since we didn't see it all. You could easily spend hours here, as we did yesterday. My daughter picked up a couple of items and I found a few I may go back for soon. I saw a little snack/food shop and a little lounge area. The snack shop wasn't opened and I'm not sure if that was due to the pandemic, the time (afternoon), or if it's no longer in service. This is my go to antique place in Cincinnati. I could spread whole days just wondering up and down the aisles. They have a great system of naming the rows so that it's easy to know where you've been and remember where you saw something to go back and get it, they also have a nice spacious holding area so you can put things to hold until you're ready to pay. The staff is also friendly and helpful. They offer gift cards which is also a nice option if you're shopping for a friend and see too much that they might want to buy. There are clean restrooms and a small snack shack if you spend a long time there. And they've just opened a whole new wing so there's about 30% more to see. They have everything from jewelry and flatware to huge pieces of furniture. They things range in price from under a dollar to very expensive. This is a great antique market and I highly recommend visiting, especially on a rainy day. read more

In my opinion the best antique store in Ohio. You could spend hours browsing. The vendors are reasonable in pricing. If you want to negotiate on the item, you can go to the front and have the staff call the vendor. Nice selection on furniture which I've purchased twice (dresser, chest drawer, and kitchen hutch). this place is so large it can take a couple days to dig through. if you are like me and really like digging through booths their are more than a few treasures to be found. like most massive malls booths can be good or bad depending on the seller but they have such a huge variety of sellers that you'll never get bored. i've found collectibles that are permanent parts of my collection here and have also found some great flips that paid off for some of those collectibles. thanks ohio valley for being a great spot oh and most important - being open till 9pm is huge for me. getting off work at 5-7 and still having multiple hours to relax here is the best. i hope that never changes read more

Neat experience took a teen and was able to share memories of our childhood stories about family that related to unusual objects. Street signs for when u get lost are state names. The Ohio Valley Antique Mall is packed full of..items. Just anything you'd ever imagine finding at a flea market/garage sale. Stuff everywhere. The place in general is pretty hard to navigate through. I've gone a couple times and tried a couple different routing methods and I'm still pretty sure I've missed entire areas. It's slightly maddening but it is what it is. Overall and in general, things are waaay overpriced here. So many times have I been interested in an item only to take a look at the price tag and recoil at the ridiculous price its listed at. I know that it's not the people who run the malls fault but you'd think they'd possibly coach their tenants into how reasonable pricing should be. The people who work here are very nice and personable. I do enjoy coming here from time to time but for the reasons I just listed I'm pretty sure I've never ended up buying anything from here before. read more

Overall this is a great antique mall. Does it have junky booths (i.e. Christmas garbage/chalkware/repro/creepy dolls)?! Yes. But for a mall this big, there are enough great antiques in here to make it well worth a visit (and that's coming from someone with an exceptionally low tolerance for junk). I'd say it's roughly about 30% junk and 70% true antiques. Additionally, a lot of the booths are well-presented and contain a lot of interesting/unique items - not just the same old-same old glassware. I'm from out of state, so I can't speak to their turnover rate, but it was one of my favorite antique mall stops on my latest road trip. read more

Antique Mall is the word. This place is like several dozen antique stores under one roof, with no barriers; if you want to spend a full DAY antiquing without driving from place to place, you'll be in Heaven here. As mentioned, there's a little cafe with seating, and snack bar, plus clean and comfortable restrooms. Groovy oldies are playing and it gets you right in the mood for rummaging through treasures of the past. The only negatives are... If you just wanted to "pop in" and look around, as you might do in an antique store, you may become frustrated as the place is SO big, as mentioned. Remember, the key word is MALL. And since the place is comprised of scores if not hundreds of booths of individual antique dealers, you won't find all the books in one section, all the jewelry in another, etc. as you might in an individual store. (But please don't think I'm trying to discourage you from just a quick visit...in fact quite the opposite... I just want you to be prepared that in a quick visit you'll just scratch the surface-then you can make plans for your return!) When you enter, grab a shopping cart (you'll regret it pretty soon if you don't!) and then, be sure to pick up a map and pencil...you can utilize them to make note of something you liked but need to come back to later on (trust me, without the map you will NEVER find it again) and also to mark off those aisles you've gone through as you go along, if you are bound and determined to see everything. The aisles are all designated with street names and it comes in pretty handy to orient yourself, or to meet up with your friend after an hour, say on the corner of Ohio Street and Washington Avenue. I must disagree with the reviewer who said there are only about half actual antiques.... There may be a smattering of newer handcraft type items to be seen, but they are few and far between the overwhelming number of antique items which range from ca. 1980 way back to the 1910s. This was what I saw after spending over two hours in the place less than two weeks ago, which was my second visit. If your item or items (from one dealer) is at least $100, you can haggle. Not sure how that works but they contact the dealer in some fashion. If under $100, don't bother to ask, as that's the price. However a good number of the dealers will give an automatic 10% discount if your purchase is $25 or over so be sure to inquire at the checkout. You'll find almost everything imaginable... Books (lots of them, especially children's ones), magazines, clothing (I've seen some real treasures), tableware, glassware, cookware, tools, home decor, furniture, jewelry, toys, vinyl records, posters, artwork, cameras, medals, figurines....well you get the idea. I love this antique mall. It has a ton of tidy booths and I've spent lots of money here buying interesting jewelry and antiques. It's a shame that I won't be coming back. This review is specifically aimed at Barb who rang out my husband tonight. She was incredibly slow, then complained about the number of tags on the merchandise and when I politely offered to help she told me (and I quote) NO, NO, YOU TOUCH IT YOU DIE. I couldn't believe this lady felt the need to speak to me this way, but that happened. She thought she was being funny but I wasn't amused.
