I once gave this dealership 5 stars. But now things have changed. Change can be due to leadership at their dealership. I've recommended multiple people to this dealer and have gotten some bad feedback. So now I have removed my review due to their employee Chase. He seems to be the one in contact with the manufactures, but seems to be very lazy and dishonest. My recommendation is to remove Chase from his position and put someone that puts the customers first. We all need people in dealerships to be some sort of advocate for the customers to get the manufacturer to do what the customer would like to get accomplished. We all have needs and when we choose The Trailer Guys, our needs should be met. Hope things change in this dealership before it joins the ranks of failed dealerships. read more

My horrific experience with Trailer guys began on a day in August when I called and talked to Chase. Chase said he had the trailer I wanted on the lot, I had seen it on their website. I asked if he was sure because I was going to fly there to check it out first thing the next morning. He confirmed yes, he had it. I arrive the next morning at 9:30, he wasn't there yet and I waited. When he arrived he showed me the trailer and said that it sold. He didn't think to call me and stop me from an expensive flight. I rationalized that it was fine because there were a few things about the trailer I didn't like, but it's poor customer service which should have been my cue to avoid business with them. Then, Chase tells me he already placed an order to the Diamond dealer for another one that would arrive in one month instead of the usual 3 months, and said he could send diamond all the customizations I wanted on the trailer he'd already ordered and keep the one month time frame. He convinced me to buy from him instead of other dealers because their lead time was 3 months which I verified . I agreed and left a deposit and spec'd out the upgrades on the trailer I wanted. He sent me purchase orders every couple days to sign and every one was wrong and didn't have the customizations I wanted despite repeatedly giving him very clear written instructions. I had to correct him over and over and I had to follow up with him almost daily, he never kept me proactively informed and was many times impossible to get ahold of. I was still correcting him after the 1 month time frame when he said it would be ready. Chase was constantly making excuses and was completely unprofessional. It is my belief that he either lied about the one month time frame, or messed up my order so many times that it had to be rebuilt with the usual 3 month custom order wait. It was ready 4 months later in December. I drove 5 hours to finally pick it up after months of stalling and avoiding my calls. Upon pickup , there were several manufacturers defects that I know weren't the fault of Trailer Guys, but that I could get fixed at another dealership because they told me it had a warranty and I live 5 hours away and had freight lined up to haul. I then find out that the warranty only applies at Trailer Guys, which is way too far for me and Chase didn't disclose that my warranty wouldn't be 100% valid at other dealerships near me which he promised in the original sale . Then, on pickup day as they're trying to get me to sign for the paperwork ,I realized that the GVW and trailer length were completely wrong on the trailer Vin and MSO. They had to send this back so I can get a new Vin. This massively affects my federal excise tax which I had repeatedly told Chase. I then tell the manager all of the issues, and he says "You can't win em all." Is that seriously your response ? My livelihood has been affected as I sold my other trailer and haven't been able to haul freight. I reluctantly took the trailer because I had to, I have jobs lined up and my business reputation on the line. On my way back home (3 hours) the trailer lost lights and brakes on the highway. This was because one of the defects was that the trailer didn't connect to my gooseneck light plugin. The trailer guys rigged it to fit in the bumper light plug-in with a zip tie which failed , scraped the ground, and caused me to lose lights on the highway which is a massive safety issue. When I called Chase to discuss that I needed him to come get the trailer or pay a local dealer for repairs since he was dishonest about the warranty, he danced around the issue and said he didn't understand. I am literally stuck on the side of a highway at this point. When I got frustrated with him , he became snappy and rude and literally hung up on me which I have a recording of. He told me "good luck dealing with Diamond" before terminating the call. Overall from the horrible sales guy Chase who lies to get sales, and the apathetic manager who takes no accountability for the sales guys mistakes... I would give this business 0 stars if I could. Read the other Yelp reviews that discuss this same unprofessional salesman. I'd like to make it clear that although Diamond made several mistakes on this trailer, I'm not rating the trailer guys on these mistakes as they are not the manufacturer . It's the lack of professionalism, lack of quality assurance of the trailers, lies, and paperwork incompetence that really set this business apart for me. Avoid at all costs. read more

stay away from this place like the plague! i bought a trailer here and with just three weeks of use the right tires popped and set on fire! the trailer was empty and one of the wheels came off, hitting a family in another vehicle. when I contacted them regarding their warranty they sent me a number that goes straight to voicemail! can you believe these guys won't even take the responsibility to take care of a customer that CLEARLY suffered from a manufacturer defect!!! scroll down and you'll see im not the only one. trailer guys, your service is decent at best, the quality of your trailers are on par with a faulty chinese handbag, your post sale service, including your warranty department is near NONEXISTENT. your trailer nearly killed me, my sibling and an entire family as collateral due to a mistake that obviously i'm not the first to experience. and for Sean, the "general manager" i hope you're reading this. i hope you have the decency and character to reply and fix this mistake in a timely fashion. otherwise you'll be looking at a lawsuit from not only me but the family YOU endangered. if you take anything from this review, SAVE YOUR MONEY AND POSSIBLY YOUR LIFE AND SHOP SOMEWHERE WITH PROFESSIONALS! EDIT! after a whole week of the incident, we were finally contacted by Sean, still not the warranty people. we were offered the parts to replace the broken ones "at cost" as if it was a favor. we were told that the situation was "not his problem" and after he gave us this outrageous response, he rudely decided to hang up on us. nice job guys! next time you hear from us will be from our lawyers. nice to see you'd rather lose a customer and a lawsuit than being responsible for a defect and taking care of the situation. read more

I bought a trailer a couple years ago , shortly after taking delivery I got my first flat tire. So I grabbed my tools and jacked it up . As I was on my first lug nut I found it was stripped out. All the lug nuts were stripped. I contacted Jessy and he said he would take care of me . Well after weeks I didnt hear anything so I shot off an email. No response. Well time went by (months) and I emailed again. No response ! I called down there and found out he doesnt work there anymore. Talked to the Manager about my problem. He said he carrys a impact gun with him incase of a flat tire. I called BS ! lug nuts should go on by your fingers then use tools to tighten ! not put on with a 4' torque wrench !!!! He said that was normal. Ive been a mechanic for 20 years! You can guess what my response was. Any ways going on two years now of fighting on and off i Finally took it to Les Schwabs . 100.00 in new lug nuts and its fixed. YOU GUYS LOST A CUSTOMER WHO BUYS $80,000 A YEAR IN TRAILERS, OVER $100.00 AND THE CRAPPIEST MOST DISHONEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER SEEN! AND IM IN CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! This place was recommended by a friend. My husband and I drove 3 hours to get to their lot in Trenton and gave them a shot. Glad we did! Excellent customer service, professional, courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Reasonably priced too. We had a great experience with Brandon, the salesman and Chris, the service guy. They both know their products inside and out. The review from Mike M. says they will go the extra mile for you ~~ after we hooked up to our new trailer my husband noticed a tire on our truck was low. Chris told us to pull over to the shop and he would check our truck tires and make sure they were inflated to the proper psi. Even though it was 100 degrees outside and he had a lot of other work to do, he took the time to make sure the customer was taken of. I purchased a Load Trail Flatbed Gooseneck from Trailer Guys about 5 months ago. The trailer has been a great product and I've already put on close to 40k miles with no major issues. I have only needed some general work done to the trailer on two separate occasions and both times I have been really impressed and pleased with the service guys. Jason and his service crew do excellent work and they get the job done quickly. It's hard to find quality shops that can be trusted, but it has been a breath of fresh air with these guys. They know their stuff and they aren't trying to get anything over on you.
