If you need a passport or renewal save yourself the time!…read more I spent a month in the attempt of getting a passport appointment trying 5-10 times a day. I waited five hours on hold only to be told you have to be 72hrs to travel to renew! The post office was a horrible experience at Detroit Main. The woman jerked me around for 45min, Took 2 photos which in end game were not clear enough pixel. The post office told me to mail renewal in. They do not handle renewals. My sister recommended International Express when she used several years ago. She received passport in three days for company travel. I phoned, got next day appointment which was July 20, 2021. The gal at desk was beautiful, kind, quickly handled my stress! I explained my experience. She took another photo in which looked like normal me, not the worst you could show! She told me to expect passport around Labor Day! Today August 18, 2021 I received my new passport priority express! Thank you for such a terrific experience! I am writing this to highly recommend the fee is worth the service! Professional, quick, no stress! See you next time go see Tracy Lezotte! I also stopped in the Detroit Main Post Office so they know who to recommend when they cannot help. Thank you so very much! PCN building next to Ruth Chris....walk in lobby, and walk past all the elevators to the end of hall turn right it is in the Travel Agent there! Easy to get an appointment, easy to find!

If you get a chance to take a tour, it is definitely worth the time. You get a chance to learn about the ownership history along with the history of the items within. It is really quite an experience to walk around and through a house that does not have hallways. You are able to walk and explore all of the levels of the house. The basement level is huge; it's the whole of the house. You are able to walk upright and not feel claustrophobic like some basements do. As you climb up you can walk through all of the bedrooms as they are connected together. It is weird and awkward but makes sense given the design of the house. Each room is decorated differently and presents a different time period of the house and the former owners. It is worth it to climb to the top of the cupola. But beware, you will feel like a giant. The railing is quite low at the top of the cupola. I walked up and down basically hugging the wall. The views from the top were worth the climb. I would go back if I had the opportunity to because I'm sure there is more to learn and see.

The overall atmosphere is fantastic. The historical feel takes you back in time like a storybook. I…read morehave loved this place as long as I can remember.
