My behind woke up today and decided to book same day, last minute catering for a party of 7. And Rell came through for me! So today marked my son's birthday and in a covid time, we were trying to figure out a safe way to celebrate him. At about 8am I had the idea of bringing the restaurant experience home and contacted Rell. She wrote back quickly and got to work on my request. What we ordered: Deviled eggs Mashed potatoes Mac n cheese Chicken fajitas Shrimp and grits Broccoli and cheese Cookies I only wish that I took more photos. We were so hungry that within minutes there were spoonfuls missing from every container before I could take photos! .... savages Taste: I don't think I've ever ate that many deviled eggs in one sitting in my life. Literally everything was good, but those and the shrimp and grits were my favorite. I also loved that she didn't over-salt anything. My mother is queen of "this is too salty" and she had no complaints! Service: She is so sweet. She responded to all of my messages quickly, she approved a last minute order and her drop off was punctual and efficient. Noteworthy!! Everyone had multiple plates! Her serving sizes and pricing is phenomenal. I honestly have enough for lunch/dinner tomorrow so you are getting your money worth! P.S. She arrived masked up which was a huge plus!!

The food was SOOOOO good! The stuffed French toast had us all drooling! I promise we all kept going back for more! The bacon and eggs were perfectly cooked!! The chicken and waffles Y'all OMG SOOOO GOOD! Last but not least, the shrimp and grits... delicious.. though I prefer a bit more cajun butter on mine. Great experience with Rell and we'll definitely use her services again soon!!

They donate twenty percent of proceeds from sales to fund a nonprofit program established to help refugees and their children [http://www.fugeesfamily.org/index.htm] and their staff is comprised of program graduates and their parents. Completely amazing and inspiring, like I can't stop saying. These are tamales wrapped in warm fuzzies. That said - and the purpose of a food review - is to comment on what's past the warm fuzzies and inside the corn husks. And on that front, I thought they missed the mark. The shredded chicken tamal I experienced was dry, incredibly bland, and doused in overreaching spicy sauce, which did nothing to redeem its mediocrity. My parents, both of whom raised me on a a hard line There Are Children Starving in Africa- Finish Your Peas approach, and believe it immoral to throw out food, could barely finish theirs. Our group had 4 chicken tamales and 1 vegetarian and no one walked away satisfied. We are of adventurous palates and spiciness isn't really an issue for us. It was a matter of not having much flavor to begin with and then masking it with heat. I found the spice to be a heavy handed afterthought , instead of intrinsic to a robust flavor profile. It was like sprinkling cayenne on sliced white bread. Yeah, it's hot, but it's not really yummy. It seems lots of other folks like their offerings, though, and that does some to alleviate the guilt I feel over not being able to finish the tamal and delivering a less than stellar review. The remaining guilt will likely lead me to try out the tacos.

PS: That's the name of their food truck. I'm not actually talking about someone who works there. :) $2.50 tamales?! Yes, please! Today I had the chicken and spicy pork. Apparently that was the most popular combination because that's all I heard other people order. They also have tacos. I need to do a little more research to see if they're corn or flour tortillas (I prefer corn).

So my next show, when we had a wrap party I made sure to tell the Assistant director to order Dominics pizza, its authentic pizza and crew will definitely enjoy it, as they did . Every bite reminds me of when I used to live in the Bronx and just took me back to remembering why I loved New York so much. Thank you Dominic for your love and dedication to true authentic pizza

Wow. The pizza I had from Dominic's NY Pizza was, without a doubt, the best pizza I've had to date…read morefrom any sort of food truck or food stand. In fact, the pizza from this truck (technically, it's a trailer pulled by a pick-up truck) stands among the best pizzas I've had anywhere, brick and mortar restaurants included. The trailer has a legit 1000 °F, wood-burning, all-brick oven inside which the staff uses to bake pizzas fresh. Dominic's was one of a few food trucks we had come to our company's summer party this year. Out of all the food trucks that came, this one was my favorite. The special menu for our event consisted of personal-sized 9-inch pizzas. The types available were cheese, pepperoni, sausage and red onion, veggie (spinach and mushroom), and a white pizza made with fresh mozzarella, ricotta, shredded mozzarella, garlic and oil, and Parmesan. Yum. I asked Dominic's son, who was working the truck at the event, how much the personal pizzas regularly cost and he said $9 each. The truck also normally sells garlic knots, calzones, strombolis, other pizza varieties (e.g. Neapolitan), and desserts like cannoli and NY cheesecake. I ordered a pepperoni pizza was it prepared by Dominic's son. He made it to order fast. I watched as he put the toppings on and inserted the pizza into the oven. The oven is lined up with the order/pick-up window, so you have a front row seat to watching your pizza bake. My pizza came out perfectly and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was thin with a soft and chewy middle and crisp, smoky, black, charred edges. The dough had great appetizing consistency and there was a noticeable garlicky flavor which was terrific. The cheese and pepperoni were tasty and addictive. I never expected pizza from a food truck to taste this good. The staff was nice and speedy. They do have that brusque NY Italian manner. I look forward to trying Dominic's again. I'll probably get the white pizza next time.
