I said goodwill has fitting rooms and no one monitors them. They then told me people go into the restroom to try things on even though they arent supposed to. What? I come here for just what I need. The only thing I did not like were that the aisles are not sorted by size. Neither are the shoes. They are sorted by colors and it would be helpful if sizes could be sorted as well, a bit overwhelming. When I got to the register, the man was kind enough to tell me that one of my color tags was 50% off. They were able to create a "profile" for me to discount further. Nothing is refundable, but it is exchangable.

The clothes inside equally amazing and surprisingly affordable. Lots of famous brands and really high quality clothing in a variety of sizes. They don't have fitting rooms which I was at first not happy about, but as it turns out everyone just changes in front of the mirrors in a back corner. It was the most fun communal shopping experience I've ever had, getting feedback on everything I tried on. This is my go-to shop for dance clothes and work clothes from here on out.

We came here first and were blown away by how neat, clean, and well decorated the store was. The first item I was drawn to was a beautifully hand painted egg in excellent condition - for something like $13. I couldn't think of anyone it would have been a good gift for, but wish I did! It was gorgeous and definitely a piece someone would cherish. They had numerous such type items. My Mom found some fabrics and other items she loved so much she was willing to get them and schlep them all the way back to Hawaii in her luggage. She also enjoyed looking at all the jewelry in the cases and talking with the helpful volunteers. The only off note for me was while talking to one of the volunteers, they made it a point to let me know they didn't accept all donations. Twice. I almost laughed out loud in her face the second time. Don't assume because I'm in shorts and a T-shirt that I'm not aware of the niche the store is attempting to maintain, or that I don't have items to donate that they would make money off of. *But* they are volunteers and they were super nice to my Mom so they get a pass for it. I'll be bringing other friends who love this kind of shopping by in the future. Being the first store we visited made the others pale in comparison. Definitely a winner!

Tucked away in an industrial park, the store is quaint yet extremely well put together and merchandised ... it really made shopping fun because the way they had everything arranged literally caught your attention and drew you in. Oh and the entire store was 50% off so it made discovering treasures even that much more exciting. I purchased a unique pair of boho wedge sandals and tons of bracelets and a necklace ... all for $15!!!! I paid for my few items in cash, but I honestly did not see a credit card terminal anywhere. This place is a dump by a gas station / truck stop. The store is packed to the gills, but it is in order. If you can get to it. If you can't reach it or you think you might make something fall down trying to reach an item, ASK THE MAN WORKING THERE TO GET IT FOR YOU. He will thank you for it. The nice man working there said they needed a bigger space. No kidding! :-) I'm serious when I say this - bring some plastic bags ahead of time. There is literally no space to put your items somewhere if you want to come back to them after you have shopped some more. If you put them in plastic bags, at least you can haul your items around the store easier. Plus if you put them in plastic bags (versus a real bag), it won't look suspicious, like you are trying to steal from the store. You will never know how much an item will cost. What you do is put together a bunch of items and then haggle a little bit with the person working there. I honestly really don't like haggling at a **thrift store** but if I thought what he wanted for an item was too high, I'd either tell him that or I just would tell him I didn't want it anymore. I wasn't lying when I said I didn't want it anymore, sometimes he would guess price a little too high. For example, I wanted a used Minecraft shirt. He wanted $5 for it. I said to him, sir, I can get them new for $8 and this one is somewhat worn but still serviceable. He took a look at the shirt again and sold it to me for a dollar. I was sort of in the neighborhood so I didn't exactly go out of my way to get there, but I would have been extremely disappointed if I had. It's also not that easy to get to and unclear where to park. I won't go back. Do yourself a favor and run up to the Goodwill in Herndon. That's nothing special either (no treasure hunting there), but for inexpensive household items and clothing, at least it's clean, well-lit and well-organized.
