I've gotten subscriptions from Omaha and good ranchers. They were both good. I think good ranchers…read morewas a little bit better due to their packaging and the meat seemed it was more consistently, tender, and fresh. The biggest problem is, I wish I could afford it. With beef prices going up everywhere I walk into the store and literally get angry because of how expensive beef is whoever is voting for that. Should be banned for eating meat ever again anyways yeah getting meat at the supermarket would be half the price but usually not as good and convenient.

Update: I messaged the company on Facebook and asked why I was charged $3 more than advertised and…read morewas told it was an environmental fee. When I asked what that was for, the company replied it was for fully recyclable packaging. I inquired if that fee was listed on their Facebook add or if I had missed it. They responded that they list it on the menu they show on site. I told them that if this fee is not disclosed until after a customer arrives to redeem the advertised offer it is bait and switch. They responded saying they would refund the $3 fee. Like everyone else, I went to inquire about the ad they have on Facebook for twenty beef fillets for $29. When I arrived, I noticed the only allow one person into the tent area at a time, and learned quickly that it's because they want to use high pressure sales tactics to push a larger and much more expensive package. I've been in marketing a long time and expected that I'd be offered other more profitable products, and that's fine. But the package they initially offered me for $289 was several times the cost of purchasing the same cuts from a place like Costco. When I declined their offer, they kept lowering the price, from $289 for the chicken and beef package, to $189 for just the beef, then $150 for the beef and then $120. When I replied that I'd just like the deal that was advertised, the employee got angry and said in an annoyed tone "That's thirty two dollars". Not even the $29 they advertise everywhere. Texas doesn't charge sales tax on food so not sure where the extra charge is coming from. I got the boxes home and weighed them. The steaks were between 3.3 and 4oz each but all odd shapes and hunks of fat on them. Not like any fillets I've ever seen. Pretty sure these are the leftover bits from when they cut the other portions of beef.
