Honestly this crew is awesome. I've had them come and trim trees and remove trees. My most recent experience is with my 40+ year old spruce that started rapidly declining this spring. Josh came out right away to look at it to see if there was anything we could do to save. Sadly there was not. The crew came out shortly thereafter took down the tree left me all the mulch as well as couple of chunks that I requested and cleaned up the several weeks worth of needles that had been falling from the dead tree. They managed to carefully place the limbs so not one of my irises was destroyed. All for a price that was totally reasonable. These guys showed up like a squad of polite, heat-defying superheroes, on time, chainsaws in hand, teamwork dialed in, and not a single complaint despite the 94 degree sauna they were working in. I honestly debated turning the hose on them, not to chase them off, but to keep them from melting. Four hard working men trimmed, cut, cleaned, and transformed my overgrown yard into something that actually looks civilized (and fabulous, might I add). One even climbed a tall tree with a chainsaw like it was just another Tuesday. Total pro. No drama, just leafy greatness. So first of all, Myers Brothers (Josh and crew) quoted me a few years back for a massive cottonwood tree I wanted taken out. They honored the quote, which was sweet!! Then there's the tree.... I didn't even know how they would get this thing down, squished between my neighbors and my house. Then to add to the difficulty, the tree was on a retaining rock wall. Watching them take it down was amazing. My neighbors and I actually enjoyed watching them, masters at their craft. A few minutes ago I was chatting with my neighbors and they appreciated how nice and courteous Josh's team was. Turns out Josh has done tree pruning/trimming for some neighbors down the street too. We had a large Sycamore tree that died and need to be taken out. Myers Brothers came out and did a free estimate and it was very reasonable. Much less than we expected. They came out and worked quickly and efficiently. They removed the tree while making sure none of the limbs went in the neighbors' yards. They also ground down the stump. This was an extra fee but included in the estimate. They hauled all the dead wood away, along with the all wood chips from grinding down the stump. They also trimmed my tree in front as a nice gesture. While I hope I don't need to have another tree removed, I would definitely use these guys again. I feel that if someone does something extremely well, you should share that with others in order to let people know. I am extremely pleased with the work that Myers Brothers did, and feel that if you are looking for some maintenance on trees or other landscaping, you should give them shot. When we bought our house, we had some trees and bushes that the previous owners had neglected to maintain and as a result had just become overgrown. Our tree in the front yard had so many shoots and low branches that I wasn't even sure where to begin. We also had three large, overgrown bushes in our back yard that just needed to be taken out due to a lack of regular trimming. Myers Brothers took care of both those issues, as well as help out a pine, maple, and cherry tree that needed some care as well. He had several great suggestions both for present and future care and his estimate was detailed and less than I was expecting. I ended up with 5 trees and several shrubs in both the front and back yards being taken care of with beautiful results! We have a pretty good sized sycamore tree in our front yard. I knew it needed some work since we were at a point of ducking each time we entered or exited our van sitting in the driveway. A family member referred Myers brothers tree care to us and they got back to us timely with a fair quote. The whole process was professional and efficient from the invoice and scheduling to their arrival and actually doing the job. And when all was said and done the tree looked to amazing! Josh and his crew called to confirm the night before, called on the morning of (weather was a little iffy, but they made it!), and showed up right on time and got going. I was very lucky to discover Myers Brothers Tree Care on Instagram: myers_bros_tree_care and I had them come over to the house to give a quote on 2 concerned Elm Trees. This said-Being Winter the Myers Brothers are offering a 20% discount at this time till some time in March 2019 for tree removal. The quote given for the 2 trees was truly very good!!! with the 20% discount. Also, Josh Myers who came over to give the quote was very professional and very knowledgeable. When Josh came out to give me an estimate I found him to be very personable and very knowledgeable.
