They were working on the neighbors trees using a chipper, well my Daughters car was parked on the street did they come over ask her to move it ? No and they proceeded to hit the car with debris when my x called them they offered a car wash . I noticed that our silver maple in our front yard was losing its bark and the leaves were coming in sporadically. Noah's was recommended by a friend that has a lawn service. Read the reviews by fellow Yelpers and gave them a call. Scheduled and appointment the following week to have a certified arborist come out. Brandon came out and assessed the issue as our tree being planted to deep and that we had a root that was literally strangling the trunk. Also, our irrigation was set up too close to the trunk. Brandon took some pictures, and the next day we had recommendations and a quote for service. I thought the price was reasonable for what had to be done, basically dig out the tree a bit with an air spade, cut back the offending root and treat the tree with a topical that will help improve root strength and overall health of the tree. After approving the bid, the crew was scheduled within 2 weeks (not a rush on our part). The 2-man team came out, told us what they were going to do and proceeded. the team was friendly and mindful of the rest of the property, did their job and cleaned up afterward. The following week, another specialist, Jenny came out to treat the tree, explaining again what it was for and what to expect. She even offered to come back at anytime to check on the trees progress. Total experience was professional and friendly. They really know their stuff. Note, they don't do anything with irrigation so that part is up to me. Another note, they charge 3% if using a credit card. We just used Billpay and saved the extra fee. Highly recommend their service if your trees are in need. read more

I can't really comment on their work as never got past getting a quote from them to find out if their work was good. Their quote against other quotes I obtained was astronomically high- 3x higher than the quote I chose and way out of my price range. They had done a job near my place for the landlord and have many employees and appeared to do a good job but think they are use to working for wealthier people or property management companies and getting their high price. Plus told me up front that they were 4-6 weeks out on work. In their quote they sent me they also mentioned charging in an extra $8 for each truck they sent to job site past the quoted price. The company I chose is smaller and I have used them many times and they always do a great job for me. read more

If you need a team of professionals then you need Noah's team. They came out and did a walk through, took pictures of all the trees and then sent me an itemized report of what was needed. The gave me an overhead shot to locate all the trees they would be treating and the names of all trees. The office called ahead to set a date and then called me to follow up the day they were coming. They had a swarm of professionals that arrived and went through all the trees, trimming and cleaning up odd branches. They removed all of the debris and cleaned up after themselves nicely. Their office followed up with an email to make sure all was done correctly and thanked us for the business. We have a lot of trees and the price was fair for the work completed. Noah's Park came out earlier this year to give us an estimate on 4 juniper trees that were crushed by the New Year's storm. They gave us the lowest quote, and we provided it to our landlord for review as it was beyond usual landscape maintenance for us as the tenants. It took him a while to get back to us, but said we could deduct it from rent. Even with the scheduling delays based on all of the damage in the area, they were able to get us in this week. The crew was in and out in just over an hour, cleaned up the debris, and even trimmed another damaged hedge that was blocking the gate. We are very satisfied with the job that they did. We had some roots encroaching on the drip line system so they had to cut that, but fortunately it should be easy to repair (I hope). Our yard is now a lot bigger without the 4 mature trees, but less mess for next winter! read more

We had a large elm tree that needed to be removed and some branches that we needed to have trimmed off a big, old evergreen. We learned some new things during a campus walk-about with Noah Chubb-Silverman, the arborist whose crew just completed a wonderful job of beautifying our Fellowship grounds by trimming and treating more than 30 of our trees. He explained that when trimming tree branches the cut must be close to the trunk, but not too close. I called Noah and he took awhile to get back to me. That's fine, he's one guy (I think) and he can get busy. I understand. When he did call me back, he apologized for it taking awhile (points earned), and we discussed my tree issues (not a phrase you hear all the time). I've been kind of struggling with how to review our service. Technically, all went ok, but it was just leading up to it that I have a problem with... A couple of years ago, we had Noah come out and give us a quote to trim the tree in our front yard. It wasn't really that bad and not really on the top of the priority list, so actually getting the work done got pushed to the back burner. Finally, this year it needed to be done (it was growing into the eaves of the house and I noticed a definite increase in the number of bugs inside the house). We called Noah again to come out and take another look at the tree and to see if he'd still honor the original quote. Getting a hold of him was kind of challenging. It was a mix between wondering if he was out of town since we were getting no calls back and then eventually just playing phone tag. When we finally got him on the phone, we made an appointment for him to come out to the house. He came out a couple of days later and did agree to honor the original quote of $300. We decided to have him come out and do the work so we called again to make that appointment. Again, we left messages and played phone tag. When we finally got a call back, it was really garbled and broken up and we eventually figured out that he wanted us to email him about making an appointment. We emailed him and stated we'd like the soonest appointment he had, as long as it was a weekday after 3 pm. He quickly emailed back (so clearly this is preferred form of communication) stating that he was booked for several weeks and he'd get in touch with us after that to make an appointment. Ummmm, why not schedule the appointment now for a few weeks from now? At this point, I was so frustrated with trying to get this done that I was starting to look into other companies to come do the work. I'm glad that I didn't follow through with that because we came home one day to find that the work had been completed and an invoice was left on our front porch. He did a great job of clearing the tree from the house, over the driveway and the sidewalk, but I wish he had done a little more on the side of the tree that has started to grow into our neighbor's yard. The cleanup was excellent, there was nothing left behind - a huge bonus since we have those teeny tiny trash cans now. read more

I think I met Noah through the Reno Bike Project...anyway, he's a certified arborist as well with a pretty well trained team that helps him out. Noah came out first to review the property that we just moved into, identified our trees, their needs, and the potential hazards that you as a property owner will face if you don't care for and prune your trees properly. We have two magnificent maple trees in the front, and an ash and cedar in the back. It would be heartbreaking if they died. The second thing he did was coordinate with NV Energy to coordinate the power line work. After the power company came and removed branches from power lines, Noah's team came out and finished the rest of the pruning and cleaned up all of the mess that hit the ground (including the power company's limbs). It's a process that takes a few weeks (longer, if you try to hire him during a busy season); but the results are worth it. When the snow started falling, the power didn't get knocked out and the healthy branches that were left behind didn't buckle under the weight. read more

What a professional company. I used Noah many years back for a few properties I managed. This year we had a incident where a willow tree split in half at a property we manage. I had two small trees that needed to be removed including stump removal so I contacted Noah. His bid was very reasonable my only complaint was that after I approved the bid I didn't hear back from him. So after a week or so went by I called and he said they would call me when they can schedule the work. It took another two weeks or so for them to schedule the work. Not only is the tree huge but our backyard is very narrow so they have to work in tight quarters, but they were in & out in under 3 hours on a messy, rainy day.
