The Treehouse is a very special place. This review is for the Treehouse itself as I have only attended events here and have never stayed overnight. It's a beautiful homey sanctuary tucked away in Bel Air. I've attended soundbaths and cacao ceremonies here, which have been truly beautiful each time. The home itself is indescribable; three stories and decorated with crystals, salt lamps, and many colors. They have a small outdoor area in the third floor and it truly doesn't even feel like you're in Los Angeles. The owner, Hedda, is very kind. She has a big heart and warm energy that you'll notice right off the bat. I highly recommend visiting the Treehouse. They hold soundbaths on the full and new moon, along with hosting many other interesting events. read more

This place is such an LA diamond... or should I say quartz crystal? Hedda runs a tight 3 story vegan ship for lounging, yoga, retreats and good'ol fashioned bed'n'breakfast. I really love the attention to detail, the modern art, the fantastic floor to ceiling windows, the incredible gourmet offerings, the alkaline water, the pristine cleanliness, and hands down, the hostess with the mostest...Hedda... she is THE conscious creator of all that above and below, so be it. The owner is very nice. Cute little hideaway. I should have done this just because not as a birthday gift. The bed was not comfortable at all, it was very noisy, small, and felt like the cheapest mattress sold. This was different and we enjoyed being catered to. It was like renting a room in someones home and a personal chef. Our only dislike was the temperature of our room and the comfort of the full size bed. read more

We stayed at The Treehouse in November, 2019, and booked three suites. One for my husband and me, and the other two for our adult children and their spouse/significant other. We all live across the country from each other, and happened to be in Los Angeles at the same time, so we wanted to make the visit special. This was the perfect spot for our little family reunion. The house is beautiful, and we all immediately felt at home. We found everything to be perfectly comfortable, and the breakfast was wonderful. I just wish we had more time to spend there. All of us plan to stay there again, next time we are in the area. Highly recommend. read more

We didn't choose this place, it chose us. I brought my love here for his birthday just to relax and enjoy the peace after a long week of work. Not only did we receive more than you can imagine from Hedda and Ced, but the healing that we felt alone from the house itself. The room we stayed in was the amethyst room which seemed to me to be the best choice for us and for some reason, it became available the day we arrived as we were orginally assigned to another room. I can't begin to tell you that if you are open minded and want some peace, clarity, and relaxation, you will not be disappointed in this place. THANK YOU HEDDA AND CED. They made my stay the most relaxing vacation I have ever had! I went with one of my best friends and my mother and we all felt absolutely comfortable and each had plenty of space. It was perfectly located (so close to Beverly Hills center but not on a super busy/ crowded street). The breakfast they prepared was also spectacular, and I'm a bit of a picky eater. The hospitality, decor, food, environment was all 10/10. I can't stop raving about this place to all of my friends and family. It was definitely worth every cent! I stumbled across the Treehouse, luckily, while searching for a one night stay for my daughter and I, as we had plans to attend a show at Herb Alpert's Vibratto Grill. What a gem this place is! I feel so lucky to have found it. It's not just a bed and breakfast, and certainly not a hotel! It is an escape from the normal. It is so relaxing, and calm. The host was great, and we were treated to a wonderful breakfast, prepared by Cedric; it was was wonderful. A true magical hideaway. The Treehouse Bel Air is the most peaceful escape in the middle of one of America's busiest cities. It's tucked away north of Sunset Blvd in Bel Air, which is a central location to get to any other destination you may need to travel to while in LA. It is so nice to have a peaceful, serene environment to come back to after spending time in the city. The food is light and rich in flavor; it's completely plant-based and sustainable. They source biodynamic coffee & hand-craft teas. They also support local businesses to bring awareness to sustainable and quality small LA businesses. Wow I was searching for my usual top hotel du jour, with a special discounted price in the Bel Air -Brentwood -Pacific Palisades area. What an unexpected incredible discovery for this turned out to be. As elegant as this is in its own luxury custom way this is so much more special. At the same time a "spiritual" getaway from Los Angeles and there isn't enough I could say to praise our stay, amenities, attention to detail to adequately describe the amazing experience my wife and I just experienced. We stumbled upon this gem, within a sea of cookie cutter, average, everyday motel/hotels. The price caught my attention first, the pictures kept my attention, the location sealed the deal! Hedda and Cedric welcomed us into their home with open arms, literally! The sanctuary that they get to call home I should say...It's the type of peace and serenity one seeks out during a busy trip, you just don't find it at the hotel usually. They are extremely dog friendly too! With the neighboring lot not having anything on it, it makes it really easy and convenient to walk the dog, which is a huge plus in my book. I was searching for the right staycation after a hectic several months but didn't want to travel too far. Really- I just needed to rest and have some peace and quiet- exactly what the Treehouse provides in a dreamy setting. Walking onto the property was like taking a much needed deep breath. My jaw unclenched and my shoulders dropped. Cedric greeted me at the door, showed me to my room, brought me some herbal tea and left me to my comfortable quiet space- the amethyst room with super comfy bed, great big bathtub and private deck. Breakfast was delicious as was the super super coffee. The whole space was comfortable, comforting and beautiful. I spent hours speaking with Gina who is a fantastic human and amazing intuitive numerologist/guide. I highly recommend a session with her while here. (My only tip would be for anyone staying in the amethyst room- there is a lovely wind chime right outside your door. During the day it is peaceful and pleasant but I am an incredibly light sleeper so every time a breeze blew during the night- I awoke. I grabbed ear plugs for the second night and slept like a baby.) Overall- I had an incredible two night stay and plan to return! read more

My 2 children and I stayed 2 nights. Beautiful home. Our room has a balcony and I loved the Zen like feel here. Hedda and her husband were so nice! I never stayed at a B&B and it was such a relaxing experience! Huge sunroof in the room, no tv but has Wi-Fi . The breakfast which includes the absolute best croissants I have ever had! My kids loved it as Well! Homemade! I talked some with Hedda, and she is an amazing host, but also person! Great atomsphere here, and nice quiet place if you want relaxation and get away. Also they provide pretty much all the toiletries you need. And they are all natural and organic type soaps and shampoos Must stay getaway! Thanks Hedda Hess and hubby! read more

Magical, unique space, a home away from home feel very relaxing the energy is phenomenal truly a Gem!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the tree house and it truly felt like a home away from home - but nicer - hotel nice! We were greeted with gourmet tea and refreshments by Hedda the owner. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace built into the trees that really makes it feel like a treehouse. Overall this is an extremely peaceful place with nice decor, comfy beds, and nice spaces to hang out like that patio. The best part is it is minutes from Beverly Hills, UCLA/Westwood, Brentwood, Hollywood, and more - tucked away but not far away! Would absolutely come back! read more

We stayed at the The Treehouse, Bel Air / Vegan Villa for a week in January, 2020, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! For starters, the location is perfect for anyone visiting the area and want to be in close proximity to "everything". Once inside, you take off your shoes and you immediately feel comfortable, as if you are home, and you belong there, and are welcome there. The decor is absolutely dazzling, spiritual, colorful, a joy in every way. We stayed in The Elephant Room which offers a glass ceiling allowing the break of day to softly seep into the room in the morning, and is blanketed with the darkness at night. There is also a great balcony, desk for working, coffee machine and terrific teas, and a huge shower. Plenty of closet space, btw! In the morning we had breakfast with Hedda and Cedric who are amazingly kind and warm and smart and fun. Lots of conversation and laughter with them, and other guests. Being a 2nd generation vegan, it is not easy to find a place that accommodates for someone like me, but this place certainly does in every way! If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay when in town, this is the place for you. I look forward to staying there again and again. read more

We were warmly greeted by our charming hostess Gina who captured our hearts and served us with kindness and grace.
