It's truly about making sure your needs are taken care of responsibly, professionally, and expertly! I feel my "back" (roof) is covered no matter what, including relating to work done before he started working for me. I chose to use JC Solutions for these reasons, and would choose to even if the price were a bit higher, but as it turns out, it's not! The cost has been extremely competitive and reasonable on top of every other benefit. Now to share my experience. Jason responded quickly when I called him (from a referral from a more than satisfied friend) to investigate a possible chimney leak. Sure enough, there was damage to the chimney cap and siding that had resulted in a leak and the repair required a lot of creativity, ingenuity, and special customization of materials, all of which Jason handled with aplomb. He also replaced roofing boots which had leaked and later installed an unusual style of gutter guard which I chose to work best with my home and for longevity. Throughout, these projects required multiple visits, staying with the projects to obtain the correct materials and follow through, inspections, tweaking of various kinds (such as adding end caps to the gutter guards to keep out birds and squirrels), responding to address minor issues that arose, etc. I won't go into all these details. The point is that I am a cared for customer whose needs are continually addressed and in an ongoing, relationship-based way. And not nickel and dimed. This is so unusual in this day and age. I can't say enough how great it feels to know I have a safe, tight roof and gutters and will continue to...and that there is a reliable, community-caring person who stands behind me and his work. Bobby, the owner, failed to complete the project, walking away after months of delays and only about two thirds of the work done, having paid him over 85% of the quoted amount. He has refused to pay us back for the incomplete work. We were forced to hire another contractor to repair low quality work and to complete the work that Bobby failed to finish. Our experience started off well. Bobby was very responsive and seemed confident in what he was doing. However, after multiple incidents and mistakes, both small and large, it was clear that Bobby was more concerned about covering himself than making things right. He was dishonest with us about the costs of our countertops, he completely mismeasured our kitchen which caused a huge error and delay in our cabinets and he refused to meet with us to discuss these issues. His paint job was of such low quality that we had to pay to have the entire house repainted. Overall, his conduct was beyond unprofessional and borderline illegal. It all culminated when he quit on our job, mid-project, walking off with money for poor quality work and for services not yet rendered. When hiring a contractor, it is important you get someone you can trust. Unfortunately, Bobby failed that test.

The first thing that troubled me was the request for monies up front to begin the job, I was hesitant but Anthony indicated he had been doing yard work for ten years and had his company for three, so I trusted him to be professional and perform the the work as we had discussed and proceeded to pay him up front for the work of weeding, removal of leafs and debris, mulching, aeration seeding and fertilizer First indication something was amiss, he did not show up when he indicated he would on Saturday. I called him and his excuse was vehicle broke down, that he would be here on Sunday. After calling him he showed up at 3:00 with bag mulch. On Sunday he told me he had to rent a truck to get the mulch. I called him Sunday night to cancel the service and get a refund. He said his policy was no refunds. We had no choice but to continue with the services we paid him for. I texted him Tuesday at 1:13 to find if he was coming to do any work. He texted back and said he would be arriving in 13 min. When he got here he had a rented truck with mulch, but the wrong kind again and not enough to do the job.... I had asked for triple shredded hardwood to be laid 3 inch deep around all the plants, I got ground up brown mulch not even an inch deep and not around all the plants. I paid $1143.00 for this service, I would say that I have been taken to the cleaners. Please do not fall for this scam.
