I've never been served such a massive, heaping bowl of mac 'n cheese before in my life... no wonder…read morethis chain (7 locations) has gotten featured by Food Network and is known as the home of the mac 'n cheese. Had a delightful experience at this Market Street location in Corning. Welcoming, playful atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. I had been craving chicken wings, so the boyfriend and I ordered a 10 count of gold bbq chicken wings. To be fair, this might have been a mistake given the ample size of the mac 'n cheeses that we had each ordered too...but c'est la vie. The gold bbq was delicious and we made it through 8 of the 10 wings before our mac 'n cheese bowls arrived. My Kenny Pow Supreme mac 'n cheese came with sausage, onion, green peppers, pepperoni, and bacon mixed in & was topped with cheddar cheese, as well as panko for some extra texture. Even after not having eaten anything else that day before the chicken wings, I could only make it through about 1/3 of the whole size mac 'n cheese before tapping out... but omg, was it tasty. TL;DR Love the vibe, delicious food, and great staff. Will definitely be back!

"On the 8th day, Mooney's created Mac and Cheese". We believe their motto!…read more Sure, they're an Irish-tap sports bar with lots of TVs. Sure, they have a full menu of comfort foods. Well, at Mooney's in Corning NY, Mac & Cheese should be capitalized. Sure, you can get a regular flavor topped with panko crumbs. They also create more than 20 more varieties! with ingredients like lobster & mozzarella, taco beef, stuffed peppers, buffalo or bacon-ranch chicken, pepperoni & pizza-sauce, beef with pulled-pork or bacon, scampi or cajun shrimp, a BLT mac, a Philly cheesesteak mac, a rueben mac, even a good old beef on weck version! Plus a monthly-changing feature. What we had was generous and scrumptious: one named for their pal Kenny Pow: Sausage, onions, green peppers, pepperoni, and bacon, with cheddar and panko. Our favorite deluxe pizza in a mac & cheese! Our other one: a luscious spinach & tender sweet artichoke-heart mac & cheese. Oh my! We could eat mac & cheese here every day! I'd try their 30min 6-LB challenge if they let me try all of them :-)

We sat in an inside booth but it was very sunny and there were no shades on the window so our friend had to wear his sunglasses at the table. They have a mix of limited local beers, and other craft and domestic beers on tap but they don't make their own beer here. Food was good, I shared the shroomin pizza with a friend.

Huckleberry is a more-tart relative of the blueberry, and is notoriously difficult to farm. There was so much fruit here that we couldn't really say it was the dominant flavor. Quite nice. Nice red hue, too. Wait ... "Berry Man"-ilow? Not sure of the intended implications. It seems to get sweeter as it warms up. I still don't get the name. Wachusett Blueberry Ale was a less-tart and more malty brew. This to us was more beer that fruit-punch. So one of liked the first, and the other liked this. There were maybe a dozen more drafts to choose from. The bar was pleasant, bright, and relaxing.
